Good with the caveat that it only really works if you have a French friend or instructor to correct your pronunciation, mix up the phrases, and otherwise use this book as a tool in a larger study of French. A very easy way to begin French if you have the right teacher, language exchange friend or tutor.

This book is not bad. It is simply difficult to learn French simply through reading books, but this one does as well as can be expected, taking a conversation approach with drawings to illustrate the nouns. As an aid to your self-taught program, it can help.
