Really enjoyed this book and did not want to finish it, though was compelled to read it late at night to see what happened at the end ... just when you thought you could predict the outcome, a different outcome came along. It was laugh out loud funny and then creepy (reluctant to turn pages). I loved the characters, even the creepy bad guy. The characters seem very familiar, especially Carol KingI

Would have like to have read more about the Prime Minister at the end. If only the start to improving the conditions and outcomes for Indigenous people was that easy ... then again maybe it is. It was good to read a book in which my hometown, Darwin, features in it ... I am not sure if this book would entice people here or have them run screaming in the other direction.

I think it would make a good movie. It has a bit of everything.
