Vampire Slayer Sorority Girls: An Urban Fantasy Adventure

They’re sweet, they’re smart, they . . . kill vampires with wooden stakes?

I expected college to bring sleepless nights and lazy roommates, not a secret war against bloodsucking monsters. All it took was one wrong turn in a darkly-lit park to introduce me to the girls of Sigma Omega Sigma, a sorority of gorgeous and lethal vampire slayers.

Now, I’m the only guy in a house full of fearless women who fight with somersaults and wooden stakes. And the kicker? They believe I’m a slayer master, a legendary figure destined to repopulate their numbers while stopping the undead from taking over.

The vampires think they run this campus. I’m here to prove them wrong.

I've been really disappointed by the last few Landon Scott books. Usually with this author you can expect a lower stakes story that focuses more on the characters and their relationships, but the last few books (including the collaborations) the relationships have been lacking.

This is a spice first, plot second, and characters third story. I hesitate to even consider that there's romance in this story. Sure there's sex, a lot of it, but it serves no purpose, it does not deepen the relationships between the MC and the LI, as its only a purely physical relationship. The LI get their emotional needs met elsewhere and the MC is more of just a living sex toy. Sex =/= romance. The book ends with no confirmation of feelings or commitment to each other. May not have been the author's intention, but by the end you get no sense of loyalty to the MC for who he is as a person, only for what he is.

I recommend if you want to read a spicy, college aged story where the MC sleeps with a bunch of hot women with no strings attached. If you want to read a story where the sex and intimacy plays a key role in the characters relationships, then I do not recommend.

More plot holes than a spaghetti strainer

This was just… bad. Like truly awful. I made myself finish it in the hopes it would get better, sadly it only got worse.

The entire thing feels like a really bad episode of Buffy from the 90s. The vampire/slayer thing makes no sense. They’re not super strong, fast, or anything else. The vampires only “power” is they don’t feel pain, they’re dead, and if they bite you, you turn. THAT IS IT! Somehow this makes it so “normies” can’t fight them?!? That’s so idiotic. Also the slayers somehow can throw stakes like Bullseye from Daredevil, again that’s it. There’s literally no reason normal people couldn’t kill them off easily, so the entire thing of “genetic slayers” is just ridiculous.

The only slayer that’s not annoying as heck is Rachel, she is honestly a fun and nice character. Mike is generic meh MC. Emily is the annoying narcissistic rich girl, and Blair is your typical damaged “leader” who ends up almost getting everyone killed multiple times.

I genuinely hope this was written by AI, because if someone actually took the time to write this drivel out, I would feel immensely sorry for them. Save your time and sanity; don’t read this crap.

Not a Buffy clone

At first I thought ok we will have a fun Buffy clone but no it’s so much more. Give this book a shot it’s worth the time. Fun characters with emotional depth, some good spice and some humor.

Wonderful and action packed

This a great simple story with great characters, amazing banter, and a great mix of action, spice, antics. I love most of Landons books but this series might end up competing for the best one for me.
