Jessamy has crash landed in her shuttle and all of her hard work- the samples are ruined. She’s hurt. She gathers supplies: water, ration bars, and medical supplies, etc., and leaves the shuttle and chooses a direction. She had spent the last 3 years in the Solrath system. When she finds out her position to the settlement, it is so far away it is laughable. After two days, she has run out of water, and she can barely walk. But, she continues, even as she crawls. It is amazing. She senses someone watching her, and sees a Khorani. But, she is so far out of it, when he tries to talk to her. So he saves her.
Jorak has been alone for the last 3 years because he prefers the solitude and he is a Sand Stalker. When h e follows out of curiosity after he finds the crashed shuttle, he didn’t know why. Then he finds out, he is following a female and her scent shocked him. He is also shocked that she still goes on and doesn’t give up, until she passed out. It is a scent-match. He begins to care for her at his place. He shocks himself by choosing her. I love how he is so quiet all of the time. He just listens to her chatter on. I adore Jorak, as he begins to teach her how to survive there. Plus, when another clan comes to take her, to sell her… Well, he doesn’t like that and his claws handle it. Holy, hotness! He is amazing and they choose each other. oooo, the romantic things he says before things get hot and steamy betwixt them! I love how they found in each other the things that they needed. The ending is very sweet, romantic and soooo cute.

Cute fated mate story! Two lone souls find each other in a barren desert. It was so sweet that the female totally saves the lonely male. Well, they really save each other. Great novella. It was really fast pace. Nice quick book before bed.

This is pretty much an exact copy of the first book, just the FMC and MMC have different names.
