What do you think?

For Your Consideration
Asher Lawson
As one of the board members of Knight Enterprises, I prefer money over people. Numbers make sense. People don’t.
But puzzles? I’ve always been good at solving those.
That’s what Sutton Bennett was supposed to be when I met her serving food in a crappy diner. Another puzzle to solve.
Instead, she became the woman I can’t stop thinking about.
The more time I spend with her and her daughter, the harder it is to be away from them.
And when her prick of an ex shows up and suddenly decides he wants back in, I know one thing: I’m not walking away from them.
I’ll fight like hell for what’s mine.
Sutton Bennett
After my ex kicked me out the second the stick turned pink, I spent my pregnancy alone before moving to Calgary with my daughter to start over.
Working two jobs while relying on my retired neighbour for childcare wasn’t exactly the life I imagined, but it was ours.
Then a woman walks into the diner and changes my life with a single business card. But it’s the man who orders food he never eats that changes me in ways I never expected.
Asher Lawson is guarded and quiet. Most people see him as cold. But I don’t.
Somehow, beneath the sharp jaw, tattoos, and grunts, I understand him.
We become friends, which is dangerous because people leave. They always have.
But Asher keeps showing up like he might plan to stay.

Oh my gosh. I’m in love with Asher and Sutton. This book swept me away and was so hard to put down! The slow burn was perfection. From special moments shared by Asher, Sutton, & Sophie to the entertaining group chat banter, I found myself smiling several times while reading!
Sutton is strong and independent but Asher does the most thoughtful things for her. Behind all his gruff exterior he is a big softie, which Sutton and Sophie pull out of him best!
The story flowed so perfectly from the epilogue of Open to Negotiation! It was so easy to dive right back in! I can’t wait for the next book with Noah and Emma!

This series is one of, if not the most, underrated series I’ve ever read. This was addictive, bingeable, and such a sweet love story. I loved the grumpy/sunshine dynamic Asher and Sutton had, especially because Asher was never rude. Sophie was the perfect addition and I thought she was written so realistically and the story wouldn’t have been the same without her. I loved getting to see Sutton grow more comfortable with herself and with Asher, and I loved Asher’s patience and commitment to both her and Sophie. The found family in this series is incredible and I loved getting to see all of the guys welcome Sutton into their group. The slow burn of this was so rewarding and I thought the balance of spice and everything else was exactly what it needed to be. I do think that this was a little on the long side, however it still felt like such a quick read regardless of the page count. I also loved the little sneak peak of the next book in this series for which I will be counting down the days for.
Thank you to Dana Sarabin for this arc!!

For Your Consideration by Dana Sarabin Beta Review 💚
I am head over heels in love with the grumpy, Asher Lawson and no one will make me change my mind. This book blew my expectations out of the water.
Sutton, Asher and baby Sophie have completely stolen my heart and I don’t want it back. A beautiful story about forming an amazing friendship, healing from past trauma and learning to love again.
The found family in this one is incredible. This is definitely a slow burn but in the absolute best way. Asher is the most patient and caring man but boy oh boy he is possessive of his girls.
This story truly pulled at all my heartstrings. Watching Sutton, a single mom with trust and abandonment issues, learn to love and let herself be loved was just so sweet and rewarding to read. This book is an amazing dedication to bad ass single moms who rally every single day to make the best lives for their children.
I loved this story with my whole heart. That epilogue too.. I can’t wait!!!!
What to expect:
Single mom
Hurt/ comfort
Grumpy MMC
Slow burn
Found family
No 3rd act breakup

🖤❤️ He Didn’t Say Much, He Just Kept Showing Up ❤️🖤

Can I just say that I LOVE when a slow burn actually takes the time to build the relationship? Because Asher and Sutton gave me exactly what I wanted. ❤️
For Your Consideration was my first Dana Sarabin book, and now I absolutely need to go back and read Open to Negotiation for Knight and Quinn's story because I had such a good time with this world.
Asher and Sutton were such a sweet slow burn. Their relationship grows so naturally from friendship into something more, and I never felt like they were being rushed together just because this is a romance. They actually get to know each other. They build trust. They become part of each other's lives. Their friendship feels like a real friendship rather than simply a stepping stone toward the romance, and that made everything that came afterward feel so much more genuine.
And ASHER. 🖤
Top-tier book boyfriend material.
He's quiet, protective, a little possessive, incredibly patient, and absolutely an acts-of-service man. Asher isn't someone who says a lot about what he's feeling. He shows you.
Again.
And again.
And again.
He shows up for Sutton. He takes care of the people he loves. He pays attention. He helps without making her feel incapable. And the way this man is with baby Sophie??? SWOON. 😩❤️
Watching Asher naturally step into this gentle, loving father-figure role with Sophie was one of my favorite parts of the entire book. There was something so sweet about seeing this intimidating, grumpy, quiet man completely melt around this little girl.
I also loved the way his feelings for Sutton seemed to sneak up on him. At first, he thinks she's a puzzle he needs to solve. But somewhere along the way, Sutton stops being a puzzle and becomes the woman he can't stop thinking about.
And then there's Sophie.
I think meeting her changes something for him.
The way he connects with her, cares for her, and keeps showing up for both her and Sutton was just ridiculously sweet. ❤️
Sutton completely won me over too.
She's been through so much, but her strength never feels forced. She's an independent single mom who has spent years learning that relying on herself is safer because people leave. She has built a life for herself and Sophie with Iris, working hard and doing whatever she needs to do to provide for her daughter.
So watching her slowly realize that her life can become bigger without becoming less hers was beautiful.
She doesn't need Asher to swoop in and save her.
She needs to learn that letting people love her doesn't mean she's giving up her independence.
And I loved that Asher understood that.
He doesn't expect Sutton to suddenly become someone who needs him for everything. He simply keeps showing her that he's there.
That he'll stay.
That she can lean on him if she wants to.
And Sutton just gets Asher.
She doesn't need him to explain every single piece of himself or suddenly become more outspoken. She sees the quiet man underneath the grunts, tattoos, and intimidating exterior, and I loved that about them.
They understand each other in a way that feels incredibly natural.
My one little wish was that we had gotten more of their very beginning on the page. I would have loved to actually experience Asher's first reaction when he saw Sutton at the diner, what immediately caught his attention, and what was going through his head when he ultimately asked Quinn to hire her.
Because Asher is such a quiet character, getting those little glimpses into his thoughts would have been SO good.
I also would have loved to see his first interaction with Sophie instead of hearing about some of those early moments afterward. Watching that relationship develop firsthand would have been adorable.
But honestly, the FOUND FAMILY in this book might have been my favorite part outside of Asher and Sutton. 🥹❤️
The group chats had me laughing, and I loved that all of the guys have such distinct personalities. There's something incredibly cozy about the Knight Enterprises crew and the way these people have chosen each other.
They're loyal.
They're protective.
They're there when someone needs them.
And watching Sutton and Sophie slowly become part of that family was so sweet.
I especially loved seeing Sutton build relationships with Quinn and the rest of the group while slowly allowing herself to believe that maybe these people aren't going anywhere.
Because that was such an important part of Sutton's journey.
She has spent so much of her life expecting people to leave that belonging almost feels dangerous to her. But Asher and this entire group keep showing her that family doesn't always have to be the people you're born to.
Sometimes it's the people who choose you.
And I loved watching Sutton and Sophie get chosen. ❤️
Give me the hurt/comfort. Give me the friends-to-lovers. Give me the man who falls first and falls HARD. Give me the grumpy man who communicates through acts of service. Give me the adorable baby who completely melts him. Give me the found family and the group chats and the no-third-act-breakup romance.
GIVE ME ALL OF IT. 😂❤️
This was my first Dana Sarabin book, but it definitely won't be my last. I'm already invested in this series, I need to go back for Knight and Quinn's story, and after that epilogue, I'm VERY ready for Noah and Emma.
For Your Consideration gave me a quiet, patient, heartfelt romance where two people who have both experienced loss and abandonment slowly learn that maybe this time, someone really is planning to stay.
And Asher?
He didn't need to say much.
He just kept showing up.
And honestly, sometimes that's the most romantic thing of all. 🖤

Grumpy British billionaire + single mom + a man who falls first and HARD? Asher was exactly my kind of MMC.

Wow! I’m still recovering from this one, but my goodness… this has easily become one of my favorite reads of the year!
I’ve been curious and waiting for Asher and Sutton’s story ever since I read the epilogue of the first book, and honestly, I had to go back and reread that epilogue before starting this one just to refresh my memory. Hahaha! And now that I’ve finished their story, I completely understand why I was so intrigued.
My Reading Experience:
Gosh, this was such a heartfelt read. Like I said, it’s definitely one of my favorite reads so far this year. The romance is a slow burn, but in the BEST way. The pacing was just perfect, and every chapter and every page kept me wanting to know what would happen next. There was never a point where I felt like the story was dragging—I was completely invested from beginning to end.
My Thoughts:
Wow, Asher Lawson… the man that you are. You seriously took the grumpy MMC to a whole new level! If this book weren’t dual POV, I honestly don’t think we would have heard him say much throughout the entire story. HAHAHA!
But gosh, just imagining that British accent… excuse me, I need a fan!
And Sutton… MY GIRL! ❤️ As a mom, I completely understood her. There’s honestly nothing you wouldn’t do for your children, and Sutton’s strength as a mother really stood out to me. I loved watching her character development—from being afraid to trust and let someone in, to finally allowing herself to love again and embrace the family and support around her.
Her biggest fear was losing the people she loved again, and seeing her slowly learn that she could let herself be happy despite that fear was so beautiful. Her journey wasn’t just about falling in love with Asher; it was also about learning to trust, heal, and allow herself to be loved.
And the FOUND FAMILY in this book?! One of my absolute favorites in this series! What an experience. There was something so special about watching these characters come together and build something beautiful after everything they had been through.
And Sophie… my goodness! I was anticipating her first word throughout the whole book, just waiting for that moment. And when I finally read it, I literally said, “I KNEW IT!” HAHAHA! What a sweetheart. She deserves the whole world.
What a family. What a story. I’m so incredibly proud of these characters and everything they accomplished after everything life put them through. They are strong, resilient, and so deserving of the happiness they finally found.
This was such a beautiful story about love, healing, trust, motherhood, and finding a family that becomes your safe place. Definitely a favorite for me! ❤️ Thank you Dana for another amazing book!

I’ve been waiting to read the second book in the Knight Enterprises series ever since finishing the epilogue of Open to Negotiation. That little glimpse into what promised to be a world filled with friendship, love, and family had me so excited for more. And from the moment Asher Lawson was introduced as a character, I knew he was going to pack a punch as a leading man. All I can say is, the reality of his story far exceeded my expectations.
Sutton is an FMC with so much grit and resilience, and I absolutely loved that she refused to let her past experiences define her relationship with Sophie or the family she had built with Iris. Her journey of finding comfort, trust, and belonging was beautifully done.
I would have loved to see a little more of what happened when Asher first met Sutton and their initial interactions. Their first meet-cute felt like something that was described more anecdotally off-page, and even in the epilogue of the first book, we didn’t get to see Asher interact with Sophie for the first time. Those moments would have been lovely to experience firsthand.
That said, one of my favourite things about Sutton and Asher was the way Sutton simply understood him. She saw Asher for who he was without needing all the background or subtext, and there was something so lovely about that. And Asher falling for Sutton — and Sutton falling right back — was just adorable.
I also loved how organically Sutton and Asher’s relationship developed. It never felt rushed or forced. The fact that they start out as friends and stay that way for a while makes their eventual relationship feel so much more genuine. Their friendship isn’t simply a vehicle to move the romance forward; it feels like a real and meaningful part of their connection.
I cannot say this enough, but the dynamic across the whole group is what makes this series stand out for me. It was fantastic to have more of the guys on the page and to see each of their individual personalities shine through. There’s such a cosy, found-family quality to this world that makes it feel genuinely unique.
And watching Sutton and Sophie bond, settle in, and grow more comfortable with their people was honestly one of my favourite parts of the book.
This was definitely a 4.5/5 ⭐️ for me! Dana Sarabin does not disappoint with the second instalment of the Knight Enterprises series. I loved getting to know Sutton and Asher, but it’s the friendships, family dynamics, and found-family feels that continue to make this series so special for me.
I’m already counting down to Noah and Emma next!!! I cannot wait! ❤️
Thanks to the author for the advance copy.

I was given an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I would rate this story a 4.5⭐️
This story follows Sutton, a single mum who is working overtime to support herself and her daughter, and Asher, a broody, grunty alpha male who could not be more enamoured with the 2 ladies. Asher helps Sutton land a job with his friend at a charity to help boost her, when he learns she is a single mum, he makes his mission to help where he can. Asher struggles to understand his need and want to care for Sutton and Sophie, and Sutton draws a line in the sand when she tells him that friendship is all that she can offer him. From there you have the foundation for a beautiful friendship and eventual relationship being built little by little. Asher is determined to show up for Sutton and Sophie and show her that he plans on going nowhere fast and that she can lean on him as she needs.
Sutton was a very independent and strong lady who is used to only relying on her herself and her neighbour to care for her daughter. She was working multiple jobs to provide for the 2 of them but when Asher walked into her life and helped get her a position with Quinn, she was able to then afford to live comfortably. She really struggled with letting people in as she had it ingrained into her that people she cared would eventually leave her like every other person in her life had done before. Unlearning those lessons was a long process and something she struggled with through the whole book.
Asher was a surly grump that communicated mostly in grunts. Reading about him grow an attachment towards Sutton and Sophie was fun, I found it amusing that he initially thought his interest in Sutton was just about solving the puzzle that made up who Sutton was. However, from the moment he met Sophie, I think that was when it all changed for him. Reading how easily he took to her and how besotted with Asher that Sophie was so beautiful.
Dana did it again. I loved Theo and Quinn’s story, and I equally loved Sutton and Asher’s story! I also related to this on a deeper level as a child to a single parent whose father had no interest in knowing her. Everything about this book was great, from the slow burn to the relationship building from friendship, the caring for her child as his own, everything! LOVE! The only thing that could have made this better would have been to listen to it in audio form!

Spice - 🌶️
Trope - age gap (10 years), billionaire romance, grumpy × sunshine, strangers to friends to lovers, single mom, he falls first, found family, SLOW burn, no third-act breakup, HEA
Thank you, author, for providing me with the ARC of this book. I really enjoyed Asher and Sutton's story - it was sweet, funny, and packed with so much drama and love.
This book continues after the epilogue of Open to Negotiation, and from the very first, I knew Asher was aiming for the top spot. That man was quiet, protective, patient, and GRUMPY. He preferred replying in grunts, but with Sutton and Sophie, he was a different person. He was such a softie for them, not only patient with them throughout, but also allowing Sutton to trust and open up to him and to the idea of love. He might not have spoken much, but his actions definitely did.
Sutton was a sweet and loving FMC. The way she understood his grunts and reactions without a word spoke volumes. Her strength and courage made me love her so much. Watching her slowly realise that she too had people around her corner was the most wholesome experience.
Sutton and Asher's friendship was pure and beautiful. I loved that there was nothing overtly sexual about their friendship; it was just two people caring for one another. You could also see how slowly their bond grew, and the switch eventually flipped, giving us the best healthy relationship. It was the most organic and lovely bond.
Side characters and plot -
1. The found family and friend group in this series is unmatched. The group chats were my absolute favourite moments.
2. Iris was such a lovely addition to the story.
3. There were a few new side characters, and I can't wait to see how they will be ingrained in the upcoming books.
4. Sophie was the cutest baby. Her first word threw me off guard and left me sobbing.
__________
I would have loved it if we had a few chapters about their first meeting and Asher's pov on it.
The drama towards the end had me on the edge of my seat.
The ending was bittersweet and perfectly done. The epilogue with a spoiler for the next couple has me all excited.
I can't wait to read the upcoming books.
Overall 4/5.

Asher is my new all time favorite book boyfriend ever 😭❤️ that man is the definition of perfection and love and security and patients and every good thing in this world and I just want to read this book again 😩❤️
I loved every single second I spend reading Sutton and Asher, I loved how Asher was always there for Sutton and Sophie, how he was so patient with her, he was willing to be just his friend as long as Sutton needed it because he knew she needed to feel safe and ready to give him her heart, and the way he’s with Sophie!?😩❤️ oh my god, I was melting every time Asher interacted with that cute baby!! Their bond was so special since the first second they met and it was such a sweet thing reading that bond grow stronger ❤️🥹
And Sutton, my girl, my heart broke for her reading all the things she went through, how she was so sure everyone in her life will eventually abandon her, how scared she was about letting Asher and all his chosen family in because she didn’t want to say goodbye to them, and speaking of Asher’s family, oh boy I loved them! The bing between Quinn and Sutton was so sweet and beautiful and I loved how Asher and the other men were so loyal to each other, I love Sutton so much, she’s strong and resilient and sweet and kind and she deserves all the good and happy things that happened to her thanks to Asher and Iris and Quinn and everyone around her, even Sophie was so happy with all of them! Specially Asher of course 🥹❤️ this was such an amazing and sweet book and I loved it from start to finish ❤️
Now I literally can’t wait to read the next book because after that epilogue I’m feeling it’s going be so good and forbidden in the best way possible 🙊🙂↕️✨

I devoured this single mom/billionaire romance, Asher and Sutton seemed liked opposites but they fit perfectly together and have the most delicious slow burn. Asher seems intimidating with his grumpy personality and tattoos, but he truly cares about his people. Asher does not say a lot, so when he speaks you better listen because he makes his words count.
Sutton gets a job as Quinn’s assistant for the Maria Knight Foundation, thanks to Asher recommending her after seeing what a hard worker she is. Asher is enamored by Sutton and starts showing up at her office because he wants to learn more about her. Sutton becomes friends with Quinn and spends more time with Asher because he is best friends with Quinn’s husband Theo. Asher and Sutton start out as friends because they both have things from their past, that make them cautious about jumping right into a relationship. I loved watching Asher fall for Sutton because he showed her a softer side to himself, that many don’t see. Asher also falls hard for Sutton’s adorable daughter Sophie and quickly becomes one of her favorite people. I also enjoyed watching Asher’s found family welcome Sutton and Sophie into their family with open arms. Sutton’s ex tries to cause trouble, but Sutton has the support of her new found family and they are not going to let him get away with anything. After dealing with that, Asher and Sutton are able to get their much deserved HEA.

I’m not sure have the words to describe how much I loved this book. Dana has truly outdone herself with this series and it’s only book two.
This group of guys, plus our amazing ladies Quinn & Sutton.. they’re truly amazing. The nicest group of brothers that once they’ve taken you in, you’re in for life. Plus their group chats are some of the best. Did I mention they’re all British? Say no more.
Asher Wyatt Lawson, my god this man. The way he didn’t know what to do with his feelings for Sutton. He just kept showing up for her without even needing to be asked. He paid attention. This big grizzly man was a big softy for Sutton & baby Sophie. He was there to show her that he was there and not all love leaves & his connection with Sophie immediately had me in a puddle.
Sutton has been on her own all her life, then became a single mom after her douche ex abandoned her. She’s such an incredible mama doing all she can for baby Sophie. & sweet woman Iris. Truly an angel.
& man was this a slooowwww burn! But it was so perfect for these two to watch their friendship grow and become each other’s best friend and build that trust.
Also that epilogue Dana, yes ma’am! I’m ready!
Thank you Dana for this arc!

Let me begin by first saying how thankful I am that I got a chance to read this arc! I was beyond excited to read Open To Negotiation and when I got the email for an early copy of For Your Consideration, I think I audibly gasped. I have learned after a few years of consistently reading that I am not typically a big fan of billionaire romances but Dana's books are a huge exception.
First of all, the writing style is immaculate. And alongside how the POV changes each chapter, I promise you will not be able to put this one down.
Secondly, the plot is (like the previous book) a perfect mix of slow-burn and insta love. I adore a no-third-act-break-up with a beautiful happy ending! I am also a fiend for a single mom/dad trope and this one fit the bill perfectly. I really enjoyed reading about how Asher and Sophie's relationship developed alongside his romance with Sutton. I feel like both characters were well-rounded and developed amazingly - you really can't help but love them both.
Also... the smut? Just the perfect amount and it was written exceptionally well.
Suffice it to say I cannot find a fault with this book so, if you are a fan of any of the following tropes, I couldn't recommend anything more than to add it to you TBR immediately :)

This is book two of the Knight Enterprises based in Calgary, Alberta written by Canadian author Dana Sarabin.
Have you ever read a book that you didn’t want to finish so you could stay in the story a little longer? That’s what I was like with this book!
Grumpy British billionaire, Asher fell hard for Sutton who was a single Mom and waitress when they met. He didn’t talk much, was closed off and had that certain hard ass aura about him. Sutton was abandoned by her ex-boyfriend and kicked out when he found out she was pregnant.
Asher had his partner’s girlfriend, Quinn, offer Sutton a better job with benefits, which also meant he would get to see her more often.
Sutton wasn’t looking for a relationship and was focused on work while raising her daughter, Sophia. She has trust issues. Asher is drawn to her and determined to show her he’s not going anywhere!
When Sutton’s ex appears, Asher and the Knight Enterprise’s family show her they are her family and stand behind her.
He falls first, and hard! Can Sutton get past her trust issues to let him in? You’ll have to read this amazing book to find out!

3.5⭐️ I feel like the chemistry and connections didn’t hit the mark for me all the way, it was as if something was missing. I wish in the beginning we would’ve gotten more with just them before all the side characters were introduced. In the beginning, Asher’s grumpiness can come off as rude, and overbearing at times but he has a soft heart for those he loves. I did love how down bad he was for Sutton and Sophie. Sometimes, I found myself becoming frustrated with Sutton and wanted to shake her silly. She has a hard time letting people in which is understandable with the things she’s been through, but at times it just became repetitive. Honestly, it could’ve been a bit shorter. The ending chapters were so so for me and I just ended up skimming it. The pace at times just felt too slow.
Asher (36)
Sutton (27)
safety notes:
it’s mentioned Asher had casual hook ups, but couldn’t recall the last time he did

I’ve been waiting for this book since I finished book one, and somehow Dana managed to make this found family even more lovable. 🏡🤍
Sutton and Sophie were the perfect additions. Learning how Sutton navigated becoming a single mum and everything that first year threw at her made me admire her so much and made the outcome even more satisfying. And Sophie? THE SWEETEST LITTLE GIRL☀️
Then there’s Asher… our resident grump now that Theo has found Quinn. Of course, a tiny, sweet little girl was going to be the thing that cracked him. 👧🏼🩷 Their little mini found family was honestly like a warm hug.
And Sophie’s first word?! I was blindsided by the tears. Thanks for that, Dana. 😭
This book was wholesome, lovable and genuinely just what I needed. The Knight Enterprises found family continues to be one of my favourites. 🥹✨

Does anyone remember my review of Dana’s debut, in which I wrote that Ash would probably become my favorite? Well, I was right! I loved him! Now let’s see if any of the other men can take his place.
Asher seems like the grumpy, tough billionaire, but he actually has the softest heart. When he loves someone, he’d do anything for them. Together with Sutton and Sophie, they make such a sweet, adorable family.
Sophie’s first word really brought me to tears! She really is the cutest baby.

Think this is one of my top books of September!
This was my first book of Dana's and I fell in love with this group of characters immediately from the start! Sutton and Asher were the perfect example of grumpy sunshine even tho i think Asher would say that Sophie was the actual sunshine and Sutton was his sweetheart! I loved how Asher just immediately became enamored with Sutton and Sophie and they pretty much became his entire focus.... one of the best things about this story was the found family vibes and those hilarious group chats throughout the story! Im so excited to see how this series continues and cannot wait for noahs book!!

Great book! I couldn't put it down.
I loved the slow burn and getting to witness their friendship and trust in each other grow before any kind of romantic relationship developed. It worked so well for the story, especially considering both of their past experiences.
Asher was great from the beginning, especially with how caring he was toward Sophie. Sutton was also such a great character. She had been through so much and truly deserved to be cared for and to find someone who would love both her and Sophie.
The found family aspect was also so much fun and added so much to the story.
Definitely a favorite of my reads this year! 🥹💕

Finished this book and it my expectations were met!! I love every one of the characters. The way Asher is with Sutton and Sophie, just melts my heart and how every guy of Knight Enterprises and, of course Quinn, embraced they both, I wish there would be more people like them around the world.
This book is everything you expect about a real family, the family you choose, which is not always given by blood.
Since I read Open to negotiation I knew I would love Asher's book, the grumpy, quiet ones are always the best.
Dana has been one great discovery, now I have her books on my favourite list. Can't wait to read the next one!

4.5
Sutton Bennett had been working two jobs to support her baby daughter, Sophie, when Asher Lawson showed up in her life and asked Quinn (the FMC of book 1) to hire Sutton as her assistant. Asher had no idea that Sutton was a single mom but something about her intrigued him enough to make him want to help her—he also thought that helping her would get her out of his mind.
Wrong!
It was obvious Asher was attracted to Sutton. Not even discovering Sutton had a baby deterred him because as soon as Asher met Sophie, he was all in.
I loved how this grumpy billionaire who liked communicating in grunts showed a softer side with Sutton’s daughter. The way he took care of her and every single thing he did for them HAD ME SWOONING! He let his actions speak louder than his words to prove Sutton that he wasn’t leaving them.
Sutton’s entire life had been filled with people abandoning her so she had emotional scars that would constantly stop her from having more than a friendship with Asher. So the moment when she finally trusted him and accepted she had found in him and his friends a new family… I celebrated! Watching her heal that inner girl that had been abandoned so many times, and accept that she was worthy of love, was so beautiful.
OVERALL: For Your Consideration is a great addition to the Knight Enterprises series. If you love grumpy heroes who fall hard for the single mom who's scarred and doesn’t think someone can love her and her daughter, you gotta read this book because you will fall for Asher and his love for Sutton and Sophie. It is a slow burn so one’s gotta be patient but there’s nothing sexier than a hero who protects those he loves, who has a sweet side beneath that grumpiness and who will wait patiently for the heroine to trust him because he knows the HEA will eventually arrive and it will be so much worth it.
Thank you to Dana for letting me read this ARC in exchange of my honest opinion.

3.75 🌟s this was wayyy too sweet than I expected. Asher and Sutton were good for each other. Sophie (the baby) and Asher’s bond was too cute I wish they had more moments. The friends group chat was funny i loved their bond and bickering. i liked the chemistry in book 1 (Theo and Quinn) but the breakup and barely-there grovel ruined it for me. this one was smooth and didn’t had any breakup drama but it lacked chemistry and sexual tension. they became besties instantly and then went into relationship. Spicy scenes were meh.
ps: i don’t think i will read noah and emma

I was a little disappointed with this story honestly. slow progression & predictable to a boring degree. I loved the first in this series but this one fell flat for me. I will continue to read other works by this author!!

Asher is one of the members of Knight Enterprises. A quiet handsome, grumpy man who has always been good at solving puzzles. When he meets Sutton on a diner, she became a puzzle for him to solve. He helps her land a better job with his friend and when he learns that she is a single mom, he will do anything he can to help. What was supposed to be a puzzle to solve, turns Sutton into the woman he can’t stop thinking about. Sutton is an independent single mother working two jobs to provide for her baby. Her life hasn’t been easy, leaving her to see the people she loves walk away from her, but Asher seems like he wants to stay. The more time they spend together as friends, the more difficult it becomes to stay away.
Amazing! After reading Open to Negotiation, I couldn’t wait for the second book. Finally, I have it in my hands. Asher was one of my favorite male characters from book one, and getting to know him better in this next installment made me so happy. Asher is a man with a rough past that made him be a little possessive, quiet and grumpy, causing him to isolate himself from people. But when his friends needed him, he was always there and that made me love him even more. He is the perfect boyfriend material. The moments he spent with Sophie were adorable and melted my heart. The way he was showing up for Sutton and caring for her and her baby girl was so beautifully written. I liked the fact that Asher started to see Sutton as a puzzle to solve to see who she was, but when he met her baby Sophie, everything changed for him. The characters chemistry were very engaging that I wanted to keep reading without stopping.
Sutton was an excellent character. She was a single mom abandoned by her ex. Reading about her broke my heart with all the things she went through as a kid and as a woman. Her past wasn’t an easy one, which made her bond with Asher deeper and stronger. That bond was so special, and it was so sweet to read about it and watch it grow. Both understood each other, and both found the family they were looking and longing for. The book made me laugh, especially with the text messages between the guys. Since book one, I always wanted to be part of their group. It was so nice to see them again in this book. Each of these men has a unique personality, and I can’t wait to keep continuing reading this series to get to know them more. This book is beautiful, and I totally recommend it. Dana, you did it again!

This was a cute book with a grump that is only soft for her and her baby, but man this was so long. If you need a low stakes, easy found family book to read this is great. I just felt like there were a lot of repetitive scenes and dialogue. Could have easy been a 100 pages less and still be impactful.
But overall I had a nice time!
Defos worth a read if you love single mum X grumpy tattooed hottie and a sweet cast of characters.

Loved Asher & Sutton - what gorgeous characters! Asher was down bad from the get-go, he was such a grump with everyone except Sutton & Sophie!! Just a lovely story. Asher so much more likeable than Theo! Can’t wait for Noah & Emma!
