This was fun!

I read the previous duet (Demonic Division & Demonic Descension) a while ago and loved the world building. I will be honest and say that I don’t remember specific details of those two books and their plot because ADHD is a real b!tc# and I tend to forget a lot of what I read if I’m not regularly engaged in discussion about it. This means that I can’t talk here about connections from this book to the previous two that took place in the same world. So…sorry!

I can, however, say that I liked watching FMC Willow’s relationship with MMC demons Ruhn and Nyx develop, and to see the effect of her presence on Dravik and Cin as well. This was less than 300 pages so it was a quick read. I wish it had been longer, to see the story advance a little more, but the next book comes out later this month so there isn’t too long of a wait until we can see what happens next.

Mindy Paige needs to be STOPPED because every time she releases a book, I lose another piece of my sanity. Demonic Addiction grabbed me by the throat, kissed my forehead, and whispered “you don’t actually need sleep tonight.”

Rhune walked in like the sweetest little cinnamon roll demon and immediately went MINE, and I swear my ovaries saluted.
Nyx is over here pretending he’s the cool one but let’s be honest, he’s actually a gremlin with swagger and delusion and I love him for it. Dravik is the hall monitor of hell, following rules even if it could actively ruin his life, and I want to shake him and hug him at the same time. Cin? Sir. WHO ARE YOU?? Why are you like this?? Why do I feel like he’s going to emotionally devastate me later??

And Willow? My girl is strong, hilarious, stubborn and holding out longer than any of us would. She’s impressive. And she’s a walking question mark.

And Mindy had the AUDACITY to end this book with more questions than answers. I need book two. I need answers. I need a support group.

I had such a great time reading this! It completely hooked me, and I ended up finishing it in a single day because I couldn't stop turning the pages.

Willow's life changes in the span of an hour when she goes from engaged, to single, to being kidnapped by a demon. Soon she finds herself in The Far Place, where four powerful demon shifters are determined to claim her while an ancient force begins to awaken beneath the frozen world.

I really enjoyed the balance between romance, fantasy, and the larger mystery surrounding Willow's powers. The cast had distinct personalities, the world was engaging, and the story kept me wanting to know what would happen next.

A fun, binge-worthy read that I happily flew through in one sitting.

Wow, this book pull me in from the very start. Willow's life goes from what she thinks is somewhat picture perfect to being destroyed by two people that she loves the most. To being kidnapped by a demon that she didn't think even existed and take it to a magical plain that she never knew existed in a whole bunch of other gnarly things happen along the way And oh wait she has three other mates that are also demons fun times ahead but only if you're reading not so much for her.

What follows is hilarious encounters, fabulous world building and the perfect spice 👌
Invested from the beginning we are brought back to the far place where the air is frigid but the story is plentiful.

The cliffhanger will leave you wanting many answers.
Definitely pick this book up a short read but definitely packs a punch!

Mindy’s books are always fast paced and of course spicy. If you’ve read her previous demon books you know these makes fall fast and hard. They are possessive but are more than willing to share. Sometimes what you really want to a short read that gets you out of reality for a minute and this is it. I am excited for more bonding and to see where this story line goes.
