A gripping, keep-you-on-your-toes romantic suspense, filled with drama, desire, and devotion.Marigold Levinson has always played it safe. Maybe even always.
Colt Parker lived his life on the wild side. Owning and running his own white water rafting outfit is exactly where he wanted to be. And chasing after Marigold Levinson was a part of his daily routine—until what should have been a fatal accident changed everything.
Adapting to a new way of life, Colt struggles to reconcile who he used to be, and who he is now. Grateful to have survived, he’s determined to put his best foot forward. But under the surface, he’s haunted by the missing pieces of his past. With only flickers to go on, there’s one person that seems to always be the star of every image his mind conjures. Marigold has never been interested in his advances, no matter how relentlessly he’s pursued her, making it difficult to grasp that in every one of his dreams, it’s her face he’s seeing.
While Colt and Marigold continue on their separate paths, the pull between them becomes increasingly hard to ignore. Connected by their past, and memories that may never be regained, they’ll have to decide to move forward, or cling to what could have been.

✨ARC✨ Review Wow! What a Ride! This book follows Marigold and Colt, two characters who I fell in love with instantly. Throughout the book it kept me wanting more, I was rooting for Mare and Colt from the beginning and loved how this story played out! ALSO CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT ENDING?! WOW! This book checked a lot of my favorite boxes Sisters Best Friend✅ Second Chance Romance✅ Small Town✅ Romantic Suspense ✅
This was easily a 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Read! I can’t wait to read more by this Author!
4.5⭐️ This book kept me on the edge of my book nook the entire time I read it. I was so curious to solve the mystery of how Colt & Marigold’s relationship developed and what happened to put Colt into a coma for 2 years.
“I’m disastrously in love with you. I’m sickeningly and critically and certifiably in love with you.”
The author did a great job sprinkling in flashbacks to build up Colt & Marigold’s love story, (while also breaking my heart that he didn’t remember it). 🥹😭
“Baby, there isn’t anything in the world, or the next, that can keep me from you now.”
This book has cheating in it. If that is something triggering for you, this might not be the story for you! In my mind, our leads truly were on the road to being together but what happened to Colt and the 2 yrs he spent in a coma through their lives out of wack.
“There isn’t anything in the world, or beyond, that would keep me from you, Marigold. I’m caught in your witching gaze, and I never want to break free.”
The suspense in this story had me looking over my shoulder! I had a vague idea of what was going on but still, the twist at the end had me SHOOK.
“Do you like watching me?” I ask, my voice breathy. “It’s my favorite show, baby.”
If you are looking for a best friend’s brother romance story where the man is down badddd even when he doesn’t remember everything, you need to read this story!
“Silverthorne is for dreamers and the hopeful, the damaged and the healing, but what I’ve found the most to be true is Silverthorne is for lovers.”
I picked this up after reading a Catherine Cowles book and I thought to myself, this might not be the best idea, I don't want to compare ... CC is the queen of romantic suspense. But boy oh boy was I wrong! This was so so good!! Thank you so much Bea for the ARC, it's much appreciated!
I don't know if I've ever felt so many emotions at once in a book. I screamed, I cried and I laughed. Goodness did I scream at her to just TELL HIM!!!!!!
I will preface and say this does have cheating in it and I was worried that it would sour the book for me but for whatever reason it really didn’t.
I always love that found family feeling in a book and this was no different. The girl gang was so good and the bestie duos were so much fun.
The spice was delightful. It was fun and always came at the right time.
The suspense was good, it was a little twisty! I felt like I saw the bad guy coming, but I didn't quite realise how bad they were!
I've started at the end, this is my first by Bea but it certainly won't be my last, I'm off to download the rest in the series now. Please do yourself a favour and pick this one up, you won't regret it! 🧡
thank you so much to the author, bea borges, for the earc of this book!! <33
this is my first book by this author, and i’m always worried starting with the last book in an interconnected standalone series, just incase i don’t feel as connected to the characters. but let me tell you, i had absolutely no trouble with that in this book. 10 pages in and i was instantly hooked wanting to find out what was happening (you’ll know exactly what i mean if you’ve read the book).
this book is told through "then and now" timelines following colt and marigolds journey. you go through so many ups and downs, and even more emotions whilst they navigate their lives. i honestly can’t say which i preferred reading out of the two timelines, because on one hand you get to see them before everything happened figuring out their feelings for one another, and then on the other hand you get to see them rebuild what they thought was once lost.
i also had no idea there was going to be a mystery aspect into this book (as i went into it pretty blind) so that was really interesting trying to work it out along the way. the found family aspect i also absolutely loved!! winnie and rhett were just a joy to read about on the side, which has me so excited to go back and read the first 3 books!!
beas writing style was also so immersive and flowed so nicely to the point where i didn’t want to put the book down…as you can tell by how quickly i flew through this. i couldn’t recommend this book enough, and not to sound like a broken record…but i can’t wait to go and read the first 3 books 😭
What a read!! 💛 Having loved this series so far I was so excited to read this installment and it did not disappoint! I was hooked from the very beginning, I finished this in 2 days because I couldn't put it down! I loved the second chance, dual timeline, and suspense aspects of this story. The suspense was a lot more present than the other books in the series, but I loved it!
Colt, the man that you are! He was so sweet, funny, charming, and relatively carefree and the entire book I just wanted to protect him! Marigold, our gorgeous gal was sweet to those she loved, sassy to a certain MMC only 👀, and very serious and practical. I loved the balance they gave each other and the batner between them was perfect as well!
I absolutely adored the epilogue as well, Bea you really outdid yourself with this one 🫶🏼🍂
Tropes: Dual Timeline Amnesia/TBI Small town/suspense Second Chance Best friend's brother Secret Relationship Cheating (not between MCs) Miscommunication Right person, wrong time YEARNING & ANGST
What sold me. The tropes (yaaaa I love the most hated tropes, what??) and the cover, cuz she's STUNNING.
So this was the final book in this series & I am not a person to read a series out of order, HOWEVER. do it. Full stop. Do not pass go. Read the f*cking book.
Marigold & Colt were everything. I was a little hesitant due to the fact that I work healthcare and I wasn't sure how I'd feel about reading about TBI (traumatic brain injury) but the healthcare aside I didn't care because the story was so captivating.
My heart broke over and over and over again with the heartbreak Mare had to go through, and then even more watching Colt try to fit the puzzle pieces together that was his life post injury, and missing memories.
I BEG OF YOU. Read this book. I teared up multiple times, and just found myself not wanting to put this one down. Also, plot aside, the spice. Omgggg yes the SPICEEEE she was hot. Everything about this book was perfect
I saw this on social media and immediately was drawn in by the tropes and premise! I love an amnesia trope, when done well. And this was done very well! It was a dual timeline of then and now, so we see how this relationship starts, vs how it progresses after the memory loss.
I can see where this book may not work for some, we have and it happens on both sides, in both timelines. I can see why it was important to the story, but it is something you should know before diving in! For me this trope doesn't bother me and if anything added a lot of tension to the plot.
This is also book 4 in an interconnected standalone series, which I did not know and was not impacted by at all! If anything, it makes me want to go back and read the other 3 as well.
I really don't want to give more away since we have an aspect of mystery, and like our MMC Colt we don't know what happened to him during his "accident" so if you enjoy small town romance, with suspense I would highly recommend you pick this on up!
"I didn't think you would come," I say, enraptured by the sight of my breath mixing with hers. "You called."
"I love you" I whisper to her back. "I'll love you when I'm six feet under in my grave, Marigold. Until all that's left of us is stardust."
I received an advanced copy of Worth the Wild from the author. Worth the Wild by Bea Borges was a book where I really connected with Marigold. She is someone who always has a plan, and I think a lot of us can relate to that. Life doesn't always go the way we expect, and this story did a great job of showing what happens when everything you've planned gets turned upside down. Colt and Marigold had great chemistry, and I loved all the tension between them. The best friend's older brother trope didn’t hurt either. I also loved watching Colt navigate life after his accident and seeing both characters figure out what truly mattered to them. Their journey wasn't always easy, but it felt real and heartfelt. Overall, this was an emotional romance about love, healing, and learning that sometimes the things we never planned for end up being exactly what we need
I loved this story. Colt & Marigold ♥️♥️♥️. If I’m being honest, none of these tropes are tropes I normally read because I am not a fan of amnesia and I def do not do cheating but I saw this book and it sounded like a wild ride and it absolutely was! I knew about 10% in what the twist was going to be but the ride to get there was packed full of emotion!
Worth the Wild blew my mind. I am OBSESSED with Colt and Marigold!! This is one of the first amnesia/TBI storylines I’ve read that felt so incredibly well done. The emotion, the heartbreak, the confusion, the love… Bea had me in actual tears on numerous occasions. I was already completely invested, thinking I knew exactly where this story was going, and then…
PLOT TWIST OF THE FREAKING CENTURY.
I had to sit there and process what I had just read because WHAT?!!!!
As the final book in the Silverthorne series, Worth the Wild was everything I could have wanted and more. Colt and Marigold are going to live rent-free in my head for a very, very long time, and I already know I’ll be stewing over this book for weeks!!
This one was a little bit of a mixed bag for me. And because this was an ARC, I want to be very clear that this is simply my reading experience and what worked...or didn't quite work...for me.
The story started off really strong and had a premise that immediately caught my attention. Marigold and Colt have a history, there are complicated feelings involved, and then things take a pretty unexpected turn that changes EVERYTHING. I was definitely intrigued in the beginning and wanted to see where the story was going to take me. But somewhere along the way, I started feeling like something was just…off for me. I can't put my finger on one specific thing, but I found myself having a harder time connecting with the story as it progressed.
There is quite a bit of jumping between timelines, and while I usually enjoy that kind of storytelling, I found myself wanting a little more cohesiveness between the timelines this time around.
This is also a thriller, and I have to admit that I figured out where the suspense was headed pretty early on. I kept hoping I was wrong because I really wanted that twist to surprise me, but unfortunately it didn't quite have the impact I was hoping for.
And then there was the relationship situation, which was probably one of the bigger struggles for me. Mare is in a relationship with someone who gave me the ICK pretty much from the beginning. And knowing that she had feelings for Colt while continuing to stay in that relationship was difficult for me to get behind. I am just not a huge fan of the cheating trope, so I knew this was probably going to be something I struggled with. But Colt wasn't exactly innocent in the complicated-feelings department either. He has strong feelings for Mare while he's also in a relationship with his therapist. That added another layer to the relationship dynamics that, for me, made it harder to fully connect with either side of the situation.
And again, that's just my personal reading preference. I know plenty of readers don't mind these kinds of relationship dynamics, but for me, it made it difficult to completely get invested in their romance.
That being said, I really did think the premise was interesting, and there were definitely parts of the story that kept me reading because I wanted to see how everything would come together. I also appreciate that the author took some risks with the timeline and the direction of the story. Unfortunately, this one just didn't completely come together for me the way I had hoped it would. But that's the beauty of reading—not every book is going to be a perfect fit for every reader. For me, it was an okay read that started strong but ultimately lost a little of that spark along the way. And that's okay. Not every book has to be a five-star read to be worth talking about.
Thank you to the author for the opportunity to read this ARC.
Just want to start this review off right off the bat by saying, there IS emotional *and* physical cheating by both MC's (not on each other), and a lot of it. The blurb didn't really mention anything along those lines so I was a bit surprised that it was not only the main reason this whole storyline kicks off, but how it plays out as well. I had a hard time reading about both of them being with other people (with the FMC being engaged) while having serious feelings for each other, and not only wanting to but then acting on those feelings. I do understand this is a personal preference though and have not held it against my rating.
THAT BEING SAID.... daaaamn this book had me all up in my feels 😩 It was excruciating to watch Mare have to pretend everything was fine and she wasn't in love with the man who didn't remember them being together at all 😭Esp when he tries to move on, not knowing what it was doing to her. I did love that Colt didn't want to take anything for granted after his accident and truly wanted to be better. His lingering effects of mood swings, headaches, etc were all understandable given his brain injury and trying to make sense of things, and you really felt for him when all of a sudden he was just all out of sorts and couldn't really explain things. And he just... knew he was missing something so important 😩 There was so much heartbreak and yearning and grieving, it made me so sad (in the way only a good book can).
I wouldn't exactly say this was a "thriller", but it definitely had some suspense. I clocked it from the beginning, but even knowing, Bea wrote it in a way that still provoked unease and creepiness!! The style of the "epilogue" was admittedly not my favorite. I get what Bea was going for, the whole "snapshots of a life well lived" that Mare had ruminated on right at the end, but it somehow felt like too much of everything yet not enough of one thing, if that makes sense 🤔 Either way, bravo on such an emotional story! Thank you so much to the wonderful author Bea for allowing me to read and review!!
“He’s here and alive, and I’m so grateful. I prayed for this, made all kinds of desperate bargains for this. So now he’s here- but he’ll never be mine again.”
🤍 Small Town 🛶Frenemies to Lovers 🏔️Secret Romance 🤍 LOTS of Angst and Yearning
Since reading her debut novel, Worth the Risk, I’ve been crossing my fingers for Colt and Marigold’s story…and boy did Bea Borges deliver. Worth the Wild, the fourth book of the Silverthorne is for Lovers series, follows Colt Parker and his little sister’s best friend, Marigold Levinson. Friends since childhood, the pair have a history of sarcastic banter and play. When the two -finally- become involved romantically, Colt suffers a traumatic brain injury that lands him in the hospital in a TWO YEARS coma! Upon waking, Colt finds himself unable to remember the months leading up to the accident. Those around him have “moved on”, but will he ever piece together his flashbacks and remember the events that landed him in the hospital OR his secret romance with the love of his life, Marigold?!
Okay, okay, okay!!! When it comes to Colt’s accident, I THOUGHT I had it all figured out but Bea Borges decided to take it to the NEXT LEVEL!! I did NOT see that coming. Bea, you okay girl?? What kind of podcasts are you listening to?! Moving on! Colt and Marigold just may be my favorite Silverthorne couple, sorry Alder and Ivy. The banter, the yearning, the angst…all of it!! This book made me wish I could read faster, I wanted to devour it all in one sitting. What I love about Borges’ novels is that her writing is so descriptive; I can close my eyes and easily see the scenes playing out like a movie. Another thing I love is that the whole cast of Silverthorne characters make an appearance, it’s always nice to revisit past characters that the reader has fallen in love with.
•••••••••• Thank you Bea Borges for allowing me to read and honestly review an ARC of Worth the Wild. Thank you for allowing me to immerse myself in the world of Silverthorne. ••••••••••
A slow-burn, second-chance romance that was worth every second of the wait.
Marigold Levinson has her life exactly where she wants it until one night with Colt Parker, her best friend’s older brother,m sends every carefully laid plan up in smoke. When an accident changes everything between them, the two are forced to face a pull they can no longer outrun.
This is book 4 in the Silverthorne is for Lovers series. We follow Colt and Marigold in this one, and I think it can be read as a standalone, though I highly recommend the whole series (I read book 2 twice). Colt and Mare have known each other since they were kids. Mare is best friends with Colt’s sister, Winnie, who is our FMC in book 1, and that history is over this book in the best way possible.
In this book, you will experience everything. Mystery, suspense, thriller, angst, enemies to lovers, amnesia, a dual timeline and a dual narration…which was spectacularly done. It never seems to be the right time for these two, and the slow burn is worth every page of the wait. When the second romance hits, it’s everything you didn’t know you wanted from a book. Life will never be the same after this one.
Closing out this series with Worth the Wild is bittersweet in the best way. I have loved every single person in Silverthorne, every slow burn, every ache, every home this series gave me. Saying goodbye to this world is hard, but what a way to go out! This book will stay with me for a very long time.
Vibes we are tracking 🖤 Enemies to Lovers 💔 Second Chance Romance 🐢 Slow Burn 👥 Dual POV ⏳ Dual Timeline
Bea, thank you for sharing your art with the world, for sending me this incredible ARC, and for writing this incredible story. I hope you are as proud of this book as I am of you. It was incredibly written, and I loved everything, from beginning to end. You built a world I never want to leave, and I’m going to miss Silverthorne more than words can say. Worth the Wild was truly “Worth the Wait.”

𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄: Bea out did herself with this one! I have been reading the Silverthorne is for Lovers series since the very beginning and have had the honor of being on Bea’s ARC team. I have loved seeing her writing development and grow throughout the series. Worth the Wild was truly a work of art. I am obsessed, it’s honestly hard to put into words how much I love this book!
This book had me on the edge of my seat the entire time, trying to uncover the mystery of Colt’s accident. I loved the dual timeline - it was so crucial to get the grasp of the true angsty, messy, and emotional love story that was Colt and Marigold. We were able to see how it started and develop into something so beautiful.
This was such a unique storyline that I was completely blown away with how it played out. This book truly had me in all my feels. This will be a book I’ll be thinking about for a while. It was the perfect ending to the series. You can definitely read it as a standalone but I’ve loved all the books and recommend them all! I can’t wait to see what stories Bea comes up with next!
When I say I have read several books by Bea I have and I can tell you no book has made me feel the way I felt about Colt and Marigold the way I do 🤍💛 it’s true this book feels that so much love was poured into them and I can truly felt that as I read this story! I have to say that I was rooting for Colt and Mare the whole time there wasn’t a moment as I was reading where I wasn’t rooting for them . My heart felt every emotion when you truly have always loved that one person and you have any and all barriers standing in the way. My heart ached but the part that hurt the most is when Colt has a life altering moment an accident can change and alter every memory and thought he ever had simlply changes in a blink of an eye. Mare and Colt both have so much growth through this entire book and my heart for them has a special place for them and I am This story truly shows you the constant tug and pull on both sides with Colt trying to remeber who he was and who he is and how Mare and who Mare has always been. Mare growth is so inspiring that I have no words I truly believe that she is a strong woman and I adore her and know that I am utterly obsessed and in love with them. I truly am so grateful that I was able to read this book early if you have the opportunity to really grab this book and sit and truly see the story as a whole you will not be disappointed.
Thank you Bea for allowing me to read this story and to truly appreciate your writting as a whole !
Tropes : Rafting Guide x Surgeon💛 Dual Timeline🧡 Tbi/Amnesia💛 Cheating (not between MC’s)🧡 Suspense💛 Right Person, Wrong Time🧡 Secret Relationship💛 Angst 🧡 Yearning 💛
This is my first book by Bea and it's eloquent, raw and real. Colt and Marigold are flawed, passionate and conflicted and their messy journey Bea weaved from the opening scene had me fully invested. She made these two seem so real. Put them in real life situations, fraught with choices and consequences both good and bad that shaped each part of the story. I was surprised about the cheating. Whenever I've seen "cheating but no between mcs" it's been the mcs being cheated on. This one was different in that Marigold was the cheater but Bea handled this with grace, reverence and a hefty dose of emotions that it was pivotal to her journey. I could guess the outcome but was hooked at each tease, each almost that I had to keep reading to see how Bea chose to reveal it and it was fantastic. I loved Colt's growth and while the back and forth between past and present was a little frustrating at times it was so artfully done that it peeled back layer after delicate layer until the gripping conclusion. This book was not like anything else I've read and I'm sure it's gonna stick with me for a while as will the stunning artwork of Colt and his Goldie! I also loved the bonus epilogues and glimpse into their beautiful life together!!
5⭐️/3🔥 Thank you @beaborges for allowing me to be an arc reading for every single book in this series. I’m so sad it’s over, but I’m even more glad I got to experience all of these stories.
What to say about Colt and Marigold. These two have known each other forever and she’s his sister’s best friend. The snarky back and forth eventually comes to a head and these two fall in love…but then Colt forgets it all.
The book is told in dual timelines, before Colt’s accident where he ends up in a coma for two years and when he wakes up he doesn’t remember their time together. As the story goes he keeps getting bits and pieces of his past and Marigold always seems to be at the center of it The suspense, the angst, the yearning, I was enraptured by this story from page one.
🍁 Dual Timeline 🤕 TBI/Amnesia ⁉️ Romantic Suspense 💞 Right Person, Wrong Time 🤭Secret Relationship 🩺 Rafting Guide X Surgeon 💔 Cheating (not between mc’s ❤️🔥 Angst & Yearning ❣️ Messy and Real love
I highly recommend every book in this series! You get a lot of Winnie & Rhett in this book, they are from Book 1, Worth the Risk. These are interconnected standalones.
I absolutely devoured this book. The angsty yearning combined with the suspense had me hooked from the very beginning. The writing was incredible and the emotions felt raw and tangible. This was my first book by this author and I’m so sad this series is over because I want more!
How can anyone not fall hopelessly in love with Colt Parker?
The epilogues were beautiful I actually shed a tear which is not common for me when reading! I hope all other authors take notes, THIS is how you write an angsty romance with all consuming yearning. Impeccable!
My only true hang ups with this book were that I honestly hated Ava and Grant—but I think deep down I’m supposed to? Nonetheless, I loathe them with a passion. Every single second Colt and Marigold spent with their lackluster counterparts was deeply frustrating to me, but especially how those intimacy scenes were the same level/degree of spice as Marigold and Colt’s. I felt like, especially in Colt’s POV, it almost took away from the scenes with Marigold and watered down their physical chemistry in a way.
Bea has found a forever fan in me and I cannot wait to read what’s next!
A huge ✨wild✨ thank you to the author for gifting me an ARC!
If you're looking for real, hard, messy love, you'll love this one. It has romance, suspense and tons of yearning. So if that sounds like a good time, this 100% needs to be added to your TBR for the Fall.
The way Bea deals with the effects of TBI is so well done, and I say that as someone who has a family member affected by it.
I also feel like you only get to see yearning in romance from one side but getting to see it from both MCs in this one? That turned things up a notch in the best way.
The dual timeline was also well done and gave such great insight to Colt and Mare separately and then together, so their story never felt rushed or that anything was missing.
Where it was a miss for me (this will contain spoilers): ************* *************
There is cheating in this book and I should have clarified prior to requesting. I'm not huge on a cheating trope and the author did say it wasn't between the MCs so I figured it was side characters or something. But it was the MCs cheating on other people with each other. I totally get that people do like this trope! It's just not my vibe. So I did feel a little icky reading it but the story truly was really well done. And I do understand that this part of it drove the plot forward.
I never purposefully go into a book that I know will break my heart. I chose to trust Bea and it was so so worth it.
Worth the Wild starts by breaking your heart. You meet Marigold, a woman in love, in pain, in heartbreak. You meet her as the love of her life forgets about them falling in love. I can’t imagine forgetting my love story but Bea slowly lays out the beginning, middle, and THE END of it all. The dual timeline managed to make my pain worse.
Other tropes she mixes in worked perfectly. Right person, wrong time and secret relationship is a LETHAL combination. The TBI/amnesia and Disturbia vibes added a layer of suspense and paranoia that had me on edge.
I could not put this book down. I desperately needed to know that everything was going to be okay. I needed Colt to remember, I needed Mare to release all the pain and the weight of being the only person who knew.
The characters were messy and their pain was so real I felt it myself. I wanted to scream into the wild with Mare and tear everything down with my bare hands with Colt. This book is a part of me and I don’t ever want to let go.
Two years ago Colt and Mare finally gave into temptation and spent months wrapped up in each other. Mysterious circumstances lead to Colt having an accident and being in a coma for two years, the only problem is, is that when he wakes he has no memories of his time right before the accident. Which brings us to the current timeline. Colt is a former playboy who is currently dating his physical therapist, while Mare is currently engaged to a man she is having a hard time giving her whole heart to. (CW: Multiple open and closed door scenes with OP)
This story is told in the past and the present as Colt fights to regain his memory and figure out what happened to lead to his accident. I really liked that there was the added suspense of wondering if it was really an accident or if Colt was targeted and harmed on purpose.
I was rooting the whole time for Colt and Mare. My heart hurt for Mare because she had to suffer alone, knowing what love her and Colt once had for each other. The chapters in the past were my favorite, getting to see how they fell for each other was everything. I am glad that they found their happy ending.
Thank you, Bea Borges for the opportunity to read this ARC. 🫶🏼 All thoughts in this review are honest and my own.
Arc Review ✨ Thank you so much to Bea Borges for the ARC!
This was such a beautiful, wild ride. This was my first Bea Borges book & first of this series (I know, wtf right? I deserve jail time) however you do not have to have read the previous releases in this series to enjoy this book. I definitely wish I would have though - because one trip into this little mountain town simply wasn’t enough.
The setting was so cozy & giving all the fall vibes. I loved it so much. It quickly had me wanting to quite literally pack my bags & become Silverthorne’s newest resident.
This story follows Colt & Marigold, and MAN were electrifying. I LOVE a little sisters best friends trope, and could physically feel the tension between the two of them. He was so down bad for her! Their inner dialogue was to die for. The way they both yearned for each other was absolutely delicious, and their banter + chemistry was off the charts. I truly couldn’t get enough of them.
I have never enjoyed a dual timeline so much. The way the story is laid out had me excited to read no matter where in time the next chapter landed. I was thoroughly sat the entire time!
I was so intrigued by the Amnesia and “Disturbia vibes” suspense, and it did not disappoint. I loved the tinge of mystery throughout the read and would’ve loved to see even more of the suspense aspect woven into the story.
Overall, this was such a fun and beautiful read. They say Silverthorne is for lovers, and honestly? Consider me convinced.
4.5 stars for this slump buster! I have been DNFing books left and right lately and this pulled me out of my slump!
I absolutely loved the mystery and suspense part of the plot but the mutual pining really did me in. There’s something about an amnesia story that I always love. One person is left with the memories, to suffer alone. The other person may have a feeling or a pull towards the other but doesn’t remember. This push and pull, the angst….I ate it up. And the entire time you’re wondering what happened and when we are going to be able to piece all the parts together. I did think it was fairly obvious who the villain in the story was but it didn’t take away my interest in wanting to keep reading.
And I absolutely fell in love with these characters - with all their past trauma and their flaws. And it’s funny because this is my first ever Bea Borges book, I haven’t read the rest of the series, but the found family is so good that I felt right at home with all of the characters.
Marigold is a Doctor in a small town who can’t stand her best friends brother Colt. At her best friends wedding something happens between her and Colt. Marigolds boyfriend moves away for a time and tells her to think about what she wants for the future. Colt loses his memory and changes everything!
I signed up for this ARC because the tropes were good and it’s a thriller Romance. I did not expect it to be this great! From the very beginning I was invested. This was a stay up until 1am read!
The chemistry between Marigold and Colt was honestly insane. I love banter and theirs was perfect. The spice was spicer than I was expecting, they didn’t disappoint at all!
The thriller part of the story was maddening. I wanna say I figured out The Who done it pretty quickly but getting there had me on the edge of my seat to get it revealed.
This book got PHYSICAL reactions from me! At one point I was standing up reading when something happened and I just ducked down into the floor because I was shocked! Overall this is a must read!
What a rollercoaster this book was! Both in how fun it was and how emotional it had me! I’ve loved both Colt and Mare's characters when they come out in the other books in the series, and to finally get their story was everything. This book had me hooked, both with the two timelines and with the suspense. I couldn’t put it down! It was kind of breaking my heart though omg, the things these characters went through in this book 🥹💘
I absolutely fell in love with Colt here. This man is down bad for Mare and so freaking patient waiting for her to fall right back. There were so many cute moments I highlighted, ugh. 🫠 And Mare, I love her character so much. She was carrying so much all on her own throughout this book, and my heart was breaking along with hers. I wanted to be there for her so badly. What her and Colt had was beautiful and heartbreaking!
I think this book is definitely in my Top 5 reads of the year! I loved every moment of it. I’m so sad to see this series end, but this was the perfect ending. And the epilogues were also just perfection! 💕
