Another cursed object is out there, can Jade and Trixie handle it?

This time, we’re in New Orleans with the alpha of the Duval Pack and his girlfriend, a witch with a very old bloodline. One that happens to be connected to the Duval Pack in a way no one expected. I really am enjoying these stories of cursed objects and fated mates and witches and wolves. The way everyone works together to solve the problem of the cursed objects is so intriguing. With this story, we’re introduced to two new characters, Adrian and Rosette and get to watch as they become fated mates and deal with their cursed object. Of course, all these stories end with a heartfelt sigh at the end.

The title is a misnomer since he isn’t the only one tied to the possession. Adrian and Rosette just want an easy reunion of passion. An age old curse and blood magic have other ideas. A cursed heart relic bell rings away a centuries old spirit named Celeste. She latches on to Rosette and uses her body all the while, Rosette is trapped destined to watch sealed away. Jealousy, temptation and sexuality are used again Adrian and Rosette without a care who is in the crosshairs. Trixie and Jade are called in to help curb the possession but stumble back into a cursed relic situation with even more players. It’s a wild ride through New Orleans during Mardi Gras with a lot of spirit backed power.

Rosette, a witch, and Adrian, a wolf are lovers who have unwittingly become enmeshed in an ancient curse and Rosette is the key. With the help, resources, intel, and collective magical powers of their friend group, they work to break the spell and make the city safe from chaos.

This was a very interesting and unique story that was nicely paced. And the way that the curse took possession of Rosette was chilling and deliciously devious.

This story was an adventure! Cursed objects, ghost possessions and steamy romance all set in the heart of New Orleans. There was one plot twist after another that made sure to keep my eyes on the page while I ignored all of my responsibilities. I will absolutely be reading more of this series!
