The Hot Honey Hideaway by Harper Graham is a cosy, community-oriented romance with a touch of mystery that completely pulled me in. From the very beginning, the small-town atmosphere felt warm and comforting, and the way the author brings the town and its people to life made this such an easy and enjoyable read. Alongside the romance, there’s also the mystery surrounding the grandmother’s disappearance, which added another layer to the story and kept me intrigued throughout.

When new boy Joe arrives in town, there’s an instant attraction between him and Kristia. At first, I’ll admit I struggled to connect with their relationship because the attraction and chemistry between them felt very sudden, and I wasn’t sure I fully believed how quickly everything progressed. However, the further I got into the book, the more I realised I was completely wrong. Their connection grew on me so naturally, and by the end I truly believed they were meant for one another. They balanced each other perfectly and ended up being the ideal match.

One of the standout aspects of this book is Harper Graham’s writing style. The author has such a warm and immersive way of writing that makes you feel part of the community and emotionally connected to the characters. The pacing, emotional moments, and cosy atmosphere all came together beautifully. I especially loved the mystery element surrounding the grandmother’s disappearance — it added suspense without taking away from the heartwarming romance. And the ending was absolutely amazing, leaving me completely satisfied and smiling by the final page.

Overall, this was such a cosy and enjoyable read filled with romance, mystery, and a strong sense of community. I ended up loving this story far more than I expected, and I would definitely recommend it to readers who enjoy heartfelt small-town romances with emotional depth and a touch of intrigue.

Thank you to NetGalley, Bookouture, and Harper Graham for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

Maple Falls - I am HOME 🍁

The Hot Honey Hideaway takes us back to the small-town of Maple Falls and I couldn’t wait to get back for my fourth instalment of this series!

In this summer workplace romance, we follow the lives of Krista and Joe in a perfect blend of forced proximity, sizzling romance, and emotional growth. Throw together some spicy margaritas, tight-knit small-town vibes, and a long-lost mystery, and you have The Hot Honey Hideaway ☀️🐝✨

'The Hot Honey Hideaway' is Krista’s cozy lakeside cafe, buzzing with locals and good vibes 🌞 However, between the cafe and caring for her grandparents, Krista has little time for anytime, never mind romance.

Enter: Joe - the travel journalist and photographer that chases sunsets for a living.

Add one honey spiced latte 🍯 and sparks begin to fly ⚡️ But can she take a chance on a man that doesn’t set roots? Joe has never felt a sense of belonging. Never had a permanent home. He’s in tow to write a travel piece on Maple Falls. A few margaritas later and the pair find themselves roped into ‘The Maple Falls Summer Swap’ - they have been dared to swap lives for the week to raise much needed funds for Kirsta’s grandparents. However, over working shifts at the cafe, battling with the espresso machine and steamed milk, and learning to use a DSLR, they quickly learn that they fit perfectly into each other’s lives. But time is running out…. could a summer fling turn into love for a lifetime?

Krista is a fiercely independent SUPERWOMAN! She is selfless, strong, and incredibly hardworking. The way she cares for everyone around her, runs the place with effortless grace, and is loyal to a fault is incredibly admirable. She is the caffeine queen, carrying the world on her shoulders, and you can’t help but root for her. I loved seeing her breakdown her walls over the course of this story. She learns to let go of some of the weight of her responsibility, lean on Joe.

“You don’t have to hold it all right now,” he said. “I’ve watched you be brave all day. Let go. I’m here for you.”🥲💖✨

Joe is such a refreshing MMC. He is charming and so very sweet. He is so incredibly thoughtful and supportive. There’s not many MC’s that are as supportive as this man. The way he treats Krista, and her grandparents, is down right incredible. He steps up to support her without making her feel weak or incapable. He sees her for who she truly is, quietly and gently letting her know that she doesn’t have to carry the world alone.

This is the kind of romance that will either work for you or not. Due to the length of the book being somewhat short, it definitely gives off "love at first sight" vibes. However, it was filled with SO much tension and chemistry right from the word go. I actually think it is quite an achievement what Harper was able to convey in a limited number of pages. I was fully invested in their story and their connection felt so honest and genuine as it morphed through different stages. There was so much yearning 🤭 but also a very wholesome emotional connection. While their relationship develops quickly, due to the forced-proximity they get to know each other on a deep level and by the end, their connection feels so natural and meant to be.

“Love does not only grant us the freedom to run, but also the courage to stay.” 😌💖✨

There is also a strong ‘found family’ element to this book which I absolutely adored!! Krista is very close to her grandparents and spends a lot of time with them. This connection felt so pure and wholesome, adding a real depth to the story and provided a sense of community for Joe who’s never had a family of his own. Furthermore, the cameo appearances from the characters of previous books in the series were a real treat and are what really make this series stand out as a cozy small-town reading experience.

Overall, this was a super bingeable and highly enjoyable read. It is a perfect summer read that is both fun and emotionally rich. I honestly couldn’t ask for much more from this book and am felt with a very satisfying warm-hearted feeling 😌 Bring on book 5 🙇🏻‍♀️

3.5/5 ⭐

thanks to netgalley and harper graham for the ARC and ALC in exchange for an honest review!

the hot honey hideaway was my first introduction to Harper Graham's Maple Falls series, and overall, I had a really enjoyable experience and even though this is the fourth book in an interconnected series, i didn't felt lost (?). the story works well as a standalone, but the some of the characters made me curious about the previous books, and so i'd love to read them!!

one of my favorite aspects of this book was the cozy small-town atmosphere. Maple Falls felt warm and welcoming. beyond the romance, there was an underlying family storyline that kept me invested and added depth to the plot and i also enjoyed that!

now... my main issue was the romance itself. don't get me wrong, i rlly liked Krista and Joe as characters, however, their relationship developed a little too quickly for my taste. i tend to like more tension and build-up, so i kinda struggled at times to fully believe how fast their feelings developed. i would have loved a bit more yearning and anticipation before they got together.

overall, the hot honey hideaway is a charming and comforting small-town romance with lovable characters and although the romance felt a bit rushed for me, i still had a great time reading it and i'm interested in picking up the earlier books in the series.

3.5 The Hot Honey Hideaway is a cute, sweet (and spicy) story set in a warm and inviting small-town atmosphere. I want to visit this idyllic town and have ALL the hot honey coffees and treats!

While I read this as a standalone, I do wish I had read the previous books in the series to add a bit more depth to my understanding of the community. My only real critique is that the romance moved far too quickly for me to fully buy into it; the main characters went from 0 to 100 in just a matter of days. Aside from that incredibly fast pace, I thoroughly enjoyed everything else about this cozy, charming story!

it feels weird reading such a cozy small town series with so much spice in it lol but i’m not complaining!

krista owns the hot honey hideaway, a cafe in maple falls. joe is a traveling journalist who was hired in the last book, the cherry crush flower shop, for a story and decides to stay in town for a little longer to work on a story with krista.

these two have an instant connection and there is plenty of forced proximity for the one week joe is in town. while their chemistry is palpable and well written, i think the short timeline and feelings of insta love were too much for me.

i was mainly invested in the mystery the two work to solve together and the happenings of the side characters. i wish we got more of krista’s grandparents and i hope we get a book with krista’s sister 🤞

the narrator did a good job! thank you net galley for the arc!

This was a cute, fun read! It reads well as a standalone even though it's part of a larger series. You get glimpses into the Maple Falls community, which draws you in to read the other books in the series. This is the perfect lighthearted summer read that will keep you smiling from page to page.

The Hot Honey Hideaway is the 4th book in the Maple Falls series and it was another enjoyable addition, but it was a bit steamier than the previous books. Krista is an extremely young woman. She is running her café ‘The Hot Honey Hideaway’ as well as helping her grandparents at their campground and lake activity center. She is struggling trying to do it all and the last thing she has time for is romance. Joe Valerio is a wandering travel journalist and photographer, who is in Maple Falls for an assignment. There is instant chemistry between Joe and Krista, but she is leery about having a romance with someone who will be leaving in a short time. Joe and Krista agree to a job swap to raise money for her grandparents by getting sponsors, for five days. They have to teach each other their jobs and that has them spending time together. Will Krista be able to save her grandparent's campground or will she have to close The Hot Honey Hideaway so that she can run it for them? Will the chemistry between Krista and Joe become more than just a short term fling?

I enjoy my time in Maple Falls with the sense of community and friendship. I enjoy Lauren Graham's writing and her characters. Krista confident, smart, a quick thinker and extremely independent, but her desire to be everything to everybody and save the world means she doesn't look out for herself. Joe is a nomad. He has no family so loves seeing how Krista is with her grandparents and friends. He is charming and easy going, but is he serious boyfriend material? This book was insta-love, which is not my favourite plot. I did like how much Joe did to help Krista and I could see her falling for him easily. I really liked how the town rallied behind the job trading scheme to raise money for the campground and the Honey Cafe. There is humour, great banter, friendship and community, as well as family and some spice. I probably would have given this book another star but the spice was a bit too spicy and the insta-love was a bit too fast for me. I did a read/listen and enjoyed both formats. The audiobook was narrated by Andi Eloise and she does a lovely job with the voice and tone of the story.

Heather Graham’s Maple Falls series has become such a comfort read for me. I had been chasing that same cozy small-town vibe I found in The Cinnamon Bun Book Store and the Dream Harbor books when I stumbled across book one in this series on NetGalley. Fast forward nine months later and here I am already on book four, happily back in Maple Falls once again.

Are these books formulaic? Sure. Most cozy romances are. But Graham always manages to weave in an extra layer that keeps the story from feeling stale. This time, the Hideaway café is at risk of closing, and the town rallies together with a delightfully unique scheme to save it. That added storyline gave the romance more depth and made this one especially engaging for me.

I’ll admit I struggled the most with book three and worried maybe I had started to outgrow the series a bit, but this installment completely pulled me back in. I was entertained from start to finish and found myself fully invested in both the romance and the town drama.

The audiobook experience absolutely elevated this read for me. I am thankful to have received a complimentary ALC from Bookouture Audio via NetGalley as It was narrated by one of my favorites, Andi Eloise, who once again proves why she’s such a go-to comfort narrator. She keeps the energy lively and engaging without tipping over into overly theatrical territory, leaving plenty of room for the reader to still imagine the world for themselves. And while she sounds great at 1x speed, you already know I bumped this up to 2x with zero issues. Her intonation and inflection stayed crystal clear the entire time.

Yes, you know a romance is heading toward its HEA, but the joy is always in watching how the author gets the couple there. This one delivered all the cozy charm of a small-town romance while also bringing plenty of spice, making it exactly the kind of read that leaves you immediately wanting to queue up the next book.

Just finished reading an advanced copy of a book that was just released today called, The Hot Honey Hideaway. This is about Krista, she owns a café called, The Hot Honey Hideaway, where she serves all sorts of specialty honey themed drinks ranging from espresso and lattes topped with bumblebee art to hot honey margaritas. She absolutely loves her café, but she's feeling stretched too thin between running it and helping her grandparents run their campground and bee farm. A night around the campfire with friends and a game of truth or dare leads to her being dared to switch lives for a week with Joe, the new guy in town. Joe is a traveling photographer, and he likes to take time to stop and really see the world around him then capture it with his camera. These two begin spending their days together and sparks are flying as they teach each other what all goes on in their day to day lives to prepare for their switch. Krista thinks maybe a summer fling is just what she needs but she doesn't want to get attached to someone who isn't sticking around. She already has more on her plate than she can handle and is thinking of selling her café to be able to help her grandparents full time. But Joe is falling hard not only for the small town of Maple Falls but also for Krista, and he thinks she might just be worth putting down roots for.
I love this series so much!! This is book 4 in the Maple Falls series and I never want it to end! I love this small town and all these characters so much! This was such a great summer read, a fun and spicy small town romance, with forced proximity and found family. I loved how Krista and Joe were total opposites, but they were exactly what each other needed. This really was such a fantastic story! I truly love this series so much and I'm so eager for the next book! 🩷📚

Thank you to Harper Graham, Bookouture, and Netgalley for this ARC of The Hot Honey Hideaway, in exchange for an honest review.

The Hot Honey Hideaway is book 4 in the Maple Falls series

This was such a perfect read for summer, with all the summer camp/summer getaway vibes, except the characters are living in that getaway! FMC Krista runs the Hot Honey Hideaway, as well helping out her grandparents at their campground. MMC Joe is a traveling photographer, who we met in the prior book. And then the cutest character is of course Krista's dachshund Frankie! What a cute name too!

Krista and Joe have almost instant chemistry, as soon as they see each other that first night at Krista's Hot Honey Hideaway, they are both interested. I love that Krista and Joe are dared to switch lives for a week! The perfect way for them to also forcibly get to know each other better. As they learn each other's jobs, the forced proximity has sparks flying!

I really enjoyed the side story of the research into Krista's grandmother, and where and why she had "disappeared" when she was younger. It was fun to follow the clues alongside the characters.

All the drinks that Krista made sounded so good, as well as any of the food that was made in Maple Falls. I am somewhat not convinced on the cowboy coffee though...maybe if I had creamer to add haha.

The vibes of this story are amazing, and literally scream summer vacation to me, because my ideal summer vacay is somewhere with lots of hiking just like Krista and Joe enjoy throughout the story.

I have loved returning to Maple Falls again and again, with the cozy vibes, and spicy couples, I can't wait to read what comes next!!

Thank you to Bookouture, the author, and netgalley for a copy of this story!

Some fav quotes:
"He had traveled across the country, sometimes across the world. But nowhere had felt quite like Maple Falls."

"He'd photographed models, landscapes, and strangers all over the world, finding beauty everywhere. Nothing compared to this woman."

""A cowboy and a teacher. How did I get so lucky?""

"...Krista in the morning light, framed by honeysuckle-was the kind of sight that could make a man forget where he was headed."

"She'd never wanted anyone the way she wanted him. He felt the same way."

"Krista couldn't get over how stunning Maple Falls looked in the height of summer. It was like Mother Nature had turned the dial all the way up. The trees were greener, sky bluer, and flowers exploded in color on every corner."

"Krista just winked, tossed her hair over one shoulder, sauntered off down the sidewalk like she hadn't just brought him to his knees."

"Hot sex and he lets the dog out in the morning? Yeah, I'm definitely in trouble."

The Hot Honey Hideaway is a perfect summer read. In this fourth book, we get to know Krysta and her hot honey margaritas, and Joe Valerio, a newcomer photojournalist. Sparks fly from the very beginning between them, and they will have a summer full of spice.
It was lovely to come back to Maple Falls and continue getting to know Madison, Zoe, Kit, etc. I love series because of that, and I love small-town romance for the coziness and community feeling they always have. I really liked Krysta, and while I don’t agree with some of her choices, she was a relatable character, and I liked her. Joe was lovely too, and I really enjoyed their chemistry and open communication. I also liked getting to know Robyn (IYKYK), and I truly hope this series keeps on going, because I just can’t get enough.
At first, I thought I wasn’t going to like the ending, but then I actually thought it was quite a nice one. Overall, it is a perfect read to take to the beach, to the lake, or to read with a margarita in hand while you relax at home.

⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (3.75 stars)

I really enjoyed The Hot Honey Hideaway by Harper Graham! This is the fourth book in the Maple Falls series, but I went into it without reading the first three books and never felt lost. It definitely works well as a standalone, although I’ll absolutely be going back to read the earlier books because I loved the cozy small-town atmosphere and characters.

If you’re a fan of Laurie Gilmore’s Dream Harbor series, I think you’ll really enjoy this one because it gives off very similar vibes just set around a lake instead of a harbor town. This book has everything I love in a summer contemporary romance: small-town charm, forced proximity, and a cozy, feel-good atmosphere.

I listened to this one on audio and really enjoyed the narration as well. Overall, this was such a fun and easy summer read, and I’m excited to continue with the Maple Falls series!

The Hot Honey Hideaway by Harper Graham was such a cozy, heartwarming read and a perfect addition as the fourth book in the Maple Falls series. I absolutely loved the mix of romance, mystery, and found family woven throughout this story. Krista’s lakeside café, the Hot Honey Hideaway, felt like a character all on its own — warm, welcoming, and somewhere I’d happily spend an entire weekend curled up with a book and one of those Hot Honey Margaritas. 🍯🌶️🍹
Joe, the traveling photojournalist, was the perfect match for Krista, and I loved watching their connection grow while uncovering the mystery surrounding her great-grandmother’s real love story and what truly happened all those years ago. The emotional depth mixed with the small-town charm made this one impossible to put down.
Maple Falls continues to feel like coming home, and this book delivered all the cozy vibes, lovable characters, and heartfelt moments I wanted.

Thank you to Bookouture Audio for the ALC of this book! The audiobook narrator did a fine job, no complaints!

I have been anxiously awaiting this book and Krista’s story since I started this story, and it did not disappoint. It was definitely kind of insta love between her and Joe, but it worked because they were on such a short timeline. I enjoyed their life swap and all the commentary about it from the townspeople. I do wish we could more of their HEA at the end because it felt kind of rushed. But overall, a cute and fluffy small town romance!

Review of advance copy received from Netgalley

3.25⭐️This is a cute small town romance between Krista and Joe. Krista is exhausted from trying to do it all to keep their family businesses going while also caring for her aging grandparents. Joe is a photographer who has just gotten into town. He meets Krista and her friends and is talked into playing Truth or Dare with them. The dare is for a Krista and Joe to switch places for a week. They will switch jobs and living spaces. Sparks immediately fly between the two as they complete the dare.
While this was a cute premise, the couple is madly in love just minutes after meeting which we know doesn’t usually happen in real life. The couple starts acting like they know so much about each other almost right away. While I found the characters likable (especially Joe), I just had a hard time with the speed of their relationship.
However, if you’re in the mood for a speedy romance, you will probably find this to be a fun summer read!

Thank you to NetGalley, Harper Graham, and Bookouture for an ARC of this book!

This was a cute and easy summer read! I love these quick stories that so easily transport you to a small town, and slow paced life.

The relationship between Krista and Joe felt a little rushed at the beginning, but it fit in with the series really well! I loved learning more about Krista and how she doesn’t make a lot of time for herself with caring for her grandparents and is concerned about the future of her business. Joe was a fun add to Maple Falls! His temporary status in the town and their business swap was such a cute idea and made me really enjoy the ‘early days’ of their relationship.

I found myself picking it up every spare second I had and not wanting to put it down and devoured it in a few short hours!! AN ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS MUST READ!!

The characters were all unique with their own realistic traits, strengths, flaws, quirks and weaknesses. It was intriguing to watch and I was completely invested in each and every single one of them keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a happy ever after. Harper really does ensure they come to life at every turn of the page and I was sad to leave them when I came to the end and had to say Goodbye. Although I am looking forward to meeting them again in the previous and future books in this series. All characters worked perfectly with the storyline and I would love to see this made into a series or even a movie!!!

Well done Harper on an yet ANOTHER absolutely stunning page turner, I will definitely be looking for your books any time I need a stunning escapism and a smile on my face! This is the exact reason you are on to my favourite authors list!

Overall a brilliant, stunning, sweet, spicy and beautiful page turning escapism!! An absolute must read!!

The Hot Honey Hideaway
by Harper Graham
Narrated by Andi Eloise
out now!

3.5 ⭐️ rounded ⬆️

Krista is the busiest bee in Maple Falls. Her buzzing café ‘The Hot Honey Hideaway’ doesn’t leave her with much time for romance. Until she meets Joe, the mysterious new guy with smoldering eyes… Can she open her heart to a man who’s only staying a few weeks?
Joe’s never felt like he belongs. Until he’s working shifts at Krista’s café—losing battles with steamed milk, distracted by her bright eyes and runaway hair. He’s all easy charm, she’s all caffeine and chaos. Somehow, they just work and soon sparks aren’t just coming from the espresso machine…
But time is running out. He’ll soon be back on the road, and Krista’s dream café is on the brink of having to close its doors forever. Can Krista and Joe save the hideaway? And could a summer fling turn into love for a lifetime?

My thoughts 💭:

I absolutely flew through this one! From the very beginning, I was hooked by the cozy atmosphere, lovable characters, and the balance of sweetness and spice. Somehow this book managed to feel like a warm hug while still delivering the spice I love in a romance novel. I’ll be honest, I don’t always gravitate toward instant chemistry… sometimes it can feel rushed, but it felt right here. As much as I enjoyed the romance, the real standout for me was the found family element. The sense of community and support added heart to the story and made Maple Falls feel like a place I’d happily visit again. It gave the book an extra layer of comfort that made it hard to put down. This was cozy, charming, spicy, and completely bingeable. Exactly the kind of romance I love getting lost in. If you’re looking for a romance that feels like a cozy coffee shop date with plenty of heat for the summer, add this one to your TBR immediately!

📖 Hot Honey Hideaway – Harper Graham
🎧 Audiobook ARC | Thank you to NetGalley for the advance listening copy.

Hot Honey Hideaway was an enjoyable listen overall, but it ultimately landed in the middle of the road for me.

As an audiobook, it was easy to get through and kept me engaged enough to want to see how everything would play out. The narration helped bring the story to life and made it a more immersive experience, especially during some of the lighter and more emotional moments.

That said, I never felt completely invested in either the romance or the characters. While there were parts of the story that I enjoyed, I found myself wanting a little more depth and connection to truly become attached to the main characters and their journey. The pacing also felt uneven at times, with certain sections moving slower than I would have liked, making it difficult to stay fully engaged throughout.

The small-town atmosphere and cozy vibes were definitely highlights for me, and there were some sweet moments that reminded me why I picked up the book in the first place. However, I kept waiting for that spark—the moment that would make me fall in love with the story—and it never quite arrived.

Overall, Hot Honey Hideaway was a decent read/listen that had its charming moments, but it wasn’t one that will stick with me long after finishing. If you’re looking for a lighter romance with cozy small-town vibes, this may be worth adding to your TBR.

4.5⭐️ This was so cute! I loved how Krista and Joe kind of swap lives for a bit. It brings them closer and helps their chemistry grow so well. Truly some sweet tender moments, but also delicious tension. I love how quick witted Krista was to Joe. I’ve always envied that ability. Joe is kind of a nomad. He loves adventure and new places. Krista very much likes stability and order. With Joe’s go with the flow attitude, Krista slowly lowers her walls. But Krista isn’t the only one. Joe has his own walls and they might just be crumbling down themselves. This has all the small, meddling town vibes; and I was here for it. You also see some depth to both characters. Krista struggles to have the coffee shop and help with her grandparent with there camping grounds. Joe too starts to feel the pull of what a true family could look like.

4.5⭐️narration from Andi Eloise. Andi kept the flow fun and breezy. However, the nerves of Joe potentially leaving, the stress of taking care of Krista’s grandparents, and wanting to keep The Hot Honey Hideaway were all very present and well narrated. I always appreciate that depth and feeling the emotions of the characters through the narration.

A heartfelt thank you to @harpergrahambooks @bookouture and @bookedwiththeemilys for the #gifted book.

This is the fourth book in the Maple Falls series, yet it easily stands on its own as a captivating read.

Krista and Joe's chemistry was simply adorable, igniting with an instant attraction that carried through the story. I adored how Joe gently encouraged Krista to slow down, encouraging her to savor the peaceful serenity of the lake and the surrounding beauty of nature. Overwhelmed by her responsibilities, Krista found comfort and solace in Joe’s company. The small town ambiance was absolutely charming, with a close-knit, welcoming community where everyone pitches in to support one another, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

The mystery Krista uncovered about her great-grandmother Isabel's disappearance added an intriguing depth to the narrative. The journal she found was filled with echoes of the past and timeless advice that resonated profoundly.

I'm excited to read about the other characters and look forward to exploring their stories from previous books.

If you love cozy romances set in charming small towns, this book is an absolute must-read.

3.5 stars out of 5 ✨

I really enjoy coming back to the small town of maple falls i honestly wish I could live here lol..

Krista and joes story was so ever inspiring wanting to find family and love in each other but so may obstacles in the way. Kristas life is taking a turn for the worse in having to let go of her small business to take care of her grandparents small business especially because they are only getting older and her own family is not very supportive of either business.

Joes life was super not he go till he met Krista and he finally understood the meaning of settling down can also mean home.

The romance could've been better explained and not as fast pace but still enjoyable.

Over all a good book I did feel like it wasn't as developed as the other 3 books but still a good story line that I will continue reading and can't wait for book 5

Thank you Netgalley and Bookouture Audio for the ARC. I received this ARC as an audiobook.

It’s a cozy, small town, easy, fun read. Very cute love story with a little mystery. Intriguing and entertaining throughout the book. I didn’t know this was part of a series until I looked into it. I thought it can easily be read as a standalone without feeling like any of the storyline is missing from previous books.

I thought the narrator did a great job with this audio. My only wish with it was that there was a male narrator doing the male portions. I felt like it would have separated the characters and their personalities a little better than her doing both roles.
But I would definitely recommend this one. I will be reading the rest of this series and more from this author.

This was another great romance read in the Maple Fall series. I loved the summer vibes and the cozy feel.

The Summer Swap brought a fun dynamic to the story and it was interesting to see how that forced proximity situation unfolded. I also enjoyed the mystery that was tied into the plot as well.

Joe and Krista had sizzling chemistry, even if it was pretty quick to develop. I really did like them together.

Read this if you like:
🍯 Summer romance
🐝 Small Town
🍯 Forced proximity
🐝 Found Family

💫 This is the fourth book in the series, which is made up of interconnected standalones.

Thank you @bookouture for the gifted copy of the book.

I think this might be the best one yet 💕✨ I love love loved it! It’s the perfect summer read & really feels like that first hit of sunshine on your face.

I loved both Krista & Joe, together & as individual characters. I felt like I connected with them both but for different reasons & their relationship felt genuine & well developed rather than rushed.

I also loved the little touch of mystery & how everything came together at the end. And as always the sense of community in this series just makes it even more special!! I genuinely hope it never ends. I just want to live there at this point.

Such a feel-good read.

Such a fun, comforting read! Hot Honey Hideaway was exactly what I needed to unwind. The small-town charm of Maple Falls was incredibly cozy, and the banter between Krista and Joe hit all the right notes without feeling dragged out. I loved the tension of Joe only planning to stay for a few weeks while helping Krista save her dream café—it made the yearning so much better. It’s a quick, engaging, steamy romance that feels like a warm hug. Highly recommend for anyone looking for their next binge-able book!

The Hot Honey Hideaway was the perfect cozy romance to get me in the summer spirits. I loved the atmosphere and vibes of the small town. I need one of those hot honey drinks stat. I’m not big on insta love, so the relationship between Joe and Krista was a bit of a struggle for me. I do think the relationship grew and developed well throughout the book, I just wanted a bit of that depth to be there first. This is the only book in the interconnected stand alone series that I’ve read, but now I want to go back to the others. I thought the audiobook perfectly captured the cozy vibes of this story. Between Graham’s writing style and the audiobook narration, it was easy to feel fully immersed both in the story but also in the town. Overall, this is an enjoyable read, perfect to get you in the summer vibe.

Krista fights to save her beloved café. Joe, only in town a few weeks, steps in to help. Opposites attract, sparks fly, and every shared shift makes things hotter. But he’s leaving soon — and falling in love was never part of the plan.

Cozy, steamy, and utterly charming Gilmore Girls with serious heat. Great characters, perfect tension, and a happy ending you’ll adore. Pure reading joy.

A spicy romance, small-town themes, no heavy content.

This book was a cute, simple story. A little predictable like a lot of romance books, but overall very cute. I loved the small town feel and the genuineness of the main characters. Very enjoyable. I also appreciated that you didn’t need to read the other books in this series to enjoy this one.

I just love a small town series that feels like coming home with every book, and this was no exception. This time we visit Krista's little cafe. I thought the relationship between her and and Joe developed really quickly, but as he was only supposed to be visiting for a few weeks, it kind of had to happen that way. But they had such a great HEA! It was also great revisiting some of my favorite characters in town. Now I'm looking forward to the next book.
