I loved this!

I didn’t think I would relate to Diana, but here I am relating to a woman that is trying to figure out that your dream as a kid is not necessarily your dream as an adult, and that is okay!!!

I also liked that Diana’s situation explains why she kept the curse from Alice.

Relatable and spicy

This one flashes back to the mc's parent's story and, honestly, I'm surprised they only had her with the spice that happens. The anxiety, self doubt and loathing that comes from not meeting your own expectations was shown very realistically as well.

Sometimes, even if you really want it to, relationships dont last and people grow apart. This story takes that and shows the reader how there isn't always a good guy or villain in a break up, just... people. Great story!

If you had told me a week ago that I'd be three books deep into a sentient object romance series, I would've probably thought you were joking. Surprised? Not particularly. I know myself.

And somehow, this might be the best one yet?

The characters felt more fleshed out, we got to know the family a little better, and I genuinely enjoyed watching Diana and Abby's relationship develop from the initial drama surrounding Abby's creation.

This one was less absurdly funny than the first two and felt more like an actual romance. Which is saying something, considering we're still talking about a sentient object.

And THE POWER DYNAMIC??? Abby knowing Diana better than she knows herself and using that knowledge to her advantage? Pearls. CLUTCHED.

Still horny as all hell, obviously. But now with emotional depth and character development? Look at us growing as readers.

Five stars. I have fully accepted that this is who I am now.
