Reynolds annonce qu’il va acheter le narval en espèce sonnante et trébuchante, surprenant toutes les parties impliquées dans la transaction. De son côté Eve, qui a voulu doubler les représentants des quartiers de la ville, subit les foudres de Keeman, le chef du comptoir de commerce auquel Lawrence est affilié. Ce dernier, chargé de jouer les intermédiaires, semble toujours aussi dépassé par les événements. Du moins jusqu’au moment où il comprend comment Reynolds a pu amasser autant d’argent sans que personne ne s’en rende compte...
Enfin l’arc de Ghelbe se termine ! Il a fallu tellement longtemps pour régler cette affaire de Narval loin d’être passionnante que j’ai fini par lire sa conclusion en diagonale. Holo joue le rôle d’une simple faire valoir et tous les protagonistes, uniquement motivés par l’appât du gain, n’attirent pas la moindre sympathie. Le monde des marchands, où seule la cupidité guide les relations humaines, est détestable au possible. Surtout, la quête de notre trio (trouver un livre interdit) passe au second plan, ce qui fait perdre beaucoup d’intérêt au récit. Bref, je suis ravi de voir que l’histoire avance (enfin) dans une nouvelle direction à la fin de ce tome.

Claramente apaixonada por essa maravilhosa história, e hoje estou um pouco triste, pois para chegar no 16 volume da série somente falta 4... Vê se não é de chorar. Porém isso me anima por saber que um enredo de uma belíssima história se fecha, e vale cadê segundo destinado a essa aventura.
Mas falando um pouco desse volume, devo dizer que foi delicioso de se ler, porém não gostei de alguns fatos que se sucederam então, deixo isso bem claro, só que sei que faz parte da história então vou encarar isso como somente um fato e ponto final.
Mas espero que o volume 12 seja tão emocionante como os demais, e já estarei iniciando também a tradução do volume 13, para então poder lei,, já que não considero o momento em que traduzo o inglês para português como ler... kkk
Um fato difícil e que amo ler, e alguns dos mangás que gosto estão em japonês ou inglês e esse é o caso de Spice e Wolf, então demora um pouco para traduzir e para ler e tão rápido.

4.75 Stars. A great conclusion to a pretty good arc. Really wish we got to see what would have happened after Lawrence and Eve had their final encounter but I'm sure it will be expertly written when I get around to the light novels.
The last page made my jaw drop.
now that we have entered the final part I cannot wait to continue.

A good volume, though it did take most of this volume to wrap up the story arc it also made sense that it did. I like that the last chapter set up the next story arc.
This is a good series and I like the characters, it also had a good pace and good illustrations.

The current story arc comes to a satisfying conclusion and some familiar faces show up at the end. This was a good story arc with suspense and left me constantly wondering who would be good and who wouldn't. I am excited to see what the new arc is like now that Elsa and Evan are back.

I didn't enjoy this last arc that much. It seemed rushed and I felt like I was missing parts of the plot at times.

When Lawrence is caught between to rival sides, how is he going to get out of the animosity between them over money and power?! He does some real problem solving as to how a certain merchant may have made enough money to make a power play at the Southerners for the "Holy Beast" (aka the narwhal). Lawrence must find the proof to clear Eve Bolan's name in the accused monetary thievery. All the while not getting kicked out of his trade company, finding Holo's homeland whereabouts, and staying alive. I feel they are getting closer to the root of where Holo's wolf race resides.

Huh, I didn’t know there was another volume. Anyway, been a while since the last one so it’s nice coming back to this. Another good volume basically. Art is still really good.
