This was the first book I have read by Bella and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. I was in a horrible slump so I needed something quick and uplifting. This book was more than worth the try. It got me out my slump from the first pages and it definitely went by quickly. Too quickly.
This book follows Abby, and college student and Andrew, a widower. I loved how they each have their own POV's in the story!! Male POV's are my weakness, as I have previously mentioned, and it made me appreciate the story. Abby and her friends are stuck in Andrew's cabin until the snow storm clears off and they each add to the story with their different personalities. There's some drama and intensely steamy scenes! Holy, moly. It definitely has a suitable title.
I read this in one sitting and I was sad when I came to the end. I need more! It ended in a cliffhanger and I almost screamed in irritation! But... I calmed down and told myself that I will be purchasing the rest of the series whenever I get the chance. I need to know what happens next!

I really enjoyed this book. I'm actually going to read the second book! So Abby and her friends are driving back to school but gets stuck in a snow storm and crashed their car. They walk to find shelter. That's when Andrew comes in. He is staying in his cabin and hears a whistle. Andrew lets them stay with him. As much as he what's to be alone he can't be that cruel. He wanted to be alone because his wife just died in an accident. Anyways Andrew and Abby have this instant connection. They end up sleeping together. And that really start having feeling a for each other. At the end two of Abby's friends went out to walk to the car to get supplies without telling Andrew. Little does John and Trina know is that there are dangerous things out there like mountain lions. Andrew jumps instantly and goes to find them. He finds them and a mountain lion is reading to pounce and he does on John. Andrew stabs the lion but John still suffers from the lion biting him. What will happen to John? What will happen between Abby and Andrew once the snow storm passes and she leaves?

There's one primary reason I'm not finishing the rest of this series...cost. The first book cost 99 cents and was 289 pages. The 2nd book costs $2.99 and is 105 pages; the 3rd costs $2.99 and is 103 pages and the 4th is 87 pages and costs $2.99. That's almost $10 for a book of 683 pages. Granted, that's a long book but it's completely out of whack with what other authors are charging for their books that size. I hate this practice of cliffhangers any way but why not combine the last 3 books into 1 decent size book and then charge $2.99? If an author wants me to read her/his books, they need to play fair. At least with FSOG (which made this cliffhanger practice so popular) you got three complete books. In the end, I simply didn't connect enough with her characters to pay that much to find out what happens next.

Harlequin Romance reminiscent

Remember those red and white covered books at the super store? The ones you could buy cheap and read fast? This reminds me very much of them. It has all the elements:
*Mysterious bachelor? Check
*Sweet heroine? Check
*Minor accident and quick rescue? Check
*Basic background characters? Check
*Instant attraction? Check
It's not a bad book and perfectly fine for quick fluff reading. The fact that it's so high proceed for the following books for such small novellas is off-putting, though. I will say that at least the editing was good with only minor punctuation catches.

Nice easy read

The build up of romance is nice. Not too fast, not too slow. Trying to figure out Andrew's hidden past tragedy and hang ups stemming from that, helped to keep me engaged in the story.

Part 1... great start!

Great story so far.
I’d have loved to get a bit more of Andrews details here too rather than just the top layer but I am sure book 2 will settle any unanswered questions I might have ☺️

Cabin Heat: A New Adult and College Finances

A lot of people have at least one trip they take goes extremely wrong due to the weather. In this story Abbey and five of her college friend's are on their way back to college when they have to go an hour away from the planned route to pick up one of the friend's. To save time after the detour they decide to go through the mountains to save time but a storm with snow arises on the way. So much snow falls and is so thick they lose the way and on turning into what they think is the property they are looking for the car hits a snow hidden road closure to the country club. The car is destroyed and they must walk to find anyone to help them before they freeze. While walking Abbey twist her ankle before they find help. They have a whistle which they blow ever so often trying to attract attention. Andrew a doctor who lives in the mountains after the death of his wife in an accident a few years before trying to get away from people and grieve. He happens to be outside and hears the whistle and investigate, where he finds them and leads them to his home. His home is very large so they have a room for a of them. Andrew and Abby are attracted to each other and get together and themselves falling in love. After the snow stops Andrew is told that John and his girlfriend have gone out to the car to get his phone for a phone number he needs to call a friend from school about a joint project. Andrew takes one of the men with him as he is worried about the two friend out where wild animals could get to them. They go on SKI-Doos and as they approach them they see there is a wild cat a few feet in front of the couple with John in front. The cat jumps at John as Andrew aims his rifle. Andrew does not fire as he might hidden John and the cat grabs John's arm. Andrew second shot hits the cat but it runs away. As Andrew is a doctor he sets up John's arm and get him on the ski-doo he rushes back to his home before he goes into shock. In the mean time he calls Ruth back at the house and has her call a number on his desk and tell them to get Dr. Huntington. The story leaves us there waiting for the next book "Cabin Fever". I can not wait for this next book. I hope you are wanting to read both "Cabin Heat" and "Cabin Fever", I know I am.

After another author recommended me to read this book, I wasn't sure what to think as I had never heard of Bella Love Wins, but I can honestly say that after reading this book I found it quite enjoyable and if I could of I would have read till the end of the series. However that wasn't the case, I read till the end and actually enjoyed the plot throughout, however I did feel at times that it was predictable with some of the things that would happen. Other than that I didn't feel like there was anything that I didn't like.

In this story we are introduced to Abby Wittfield, her and her friends are heading back to college after a break, but what they hadn't anticipated was for the snow storm to be as bad as it was. Even though they all tried to time everything so that they didn't get stranded, it ended up happening regardless of the planning, and whilst they didn't think that any of them would live through till the morning or that they would be stuck there for a while they didn't expect to be rescued by Dr Andrew Carrington.

Before they even get to safety of meeting the lovely doctor, Abby ends up hurting her ankle so she is currently finding it difficult to walk, so when they do manage to get help from the Doctor she can't help but feel that there is an instant connection with him and can't exactly put her finger on it. The fact that she has managed to catch the doctor's eye makes her friends feel happy apart from the one guy who has his hopes on Abby.

Will Abby and Andrew allow their attractions to each other become something more or will they be too scared to do anything about it. Don't you just love it when you find love at first sight and get that mushy warm feeling inside, well you might experience that whilst reading this and when you're looking into the character's minds. Give it a try and hopefully you'll love this as much as I did.

Andrew couldn't accept the truth about his wife. He refused to believe that his wife, Emma's gone. He shut the world out, kept to himself and mourned for his loss. He retreated to his cabin and didn't want to be disturbed.

Abby and her friends were supposed to head back to College but they got stuck in a bad snowstorm. Their SUV was totaled, she twisted her ankle, could barely walk and carried the burden of looking after her friends, shivering, hungry, tired, with no roof under their head.

Their paths met and collided. Andrew and Abby knew there was instant attraction between them, but Barb, one of Abby's companions, was making their connection difficult. That, and the fact that they were all left stranded in a despicable weather almost made their stay in the cabin unbearable. But love and lust seems to know how to find its way. Soon, Andrew and Abby couldn't get their hands off each other. Until that day when Abby no longer needed Andrews capable hands. Until that day when something happened to two of their friends, trapped in snow, in the presence of a mountain lion, in the face of danger. It seemed like the past is coming back to Andrew. And he couldn't find a way to get out.

Cabin Heat has been a truly thrilling and captivating read. I think I got burned while reading the hot and heavy scenes. The tension, drama and suspense got me reeling. Bella Love-wins never fails to impress me. She's skilled in the Steamy New Adult genre and her story can easily awaken a sleeping beast. The ending, as cliffhanging as it was, really excites me, telling me to go watch out and force Bella to send out the next book right away! Yes, I cannot wait to read it as there's just so much more to be discovered! So Cabin Fever, please be here already, pretty please?!

An Awesome Book!

I loved reading Cabin Heat: A New Adult and College Romance (The Billionaire Romance), all about Abby & Richard and Trina, John, Rob, Ruth & Barb who all met durning a huge mega snow storm in California. Abby is the driver and she picked up all the kids at the gas station, but one of the girls Ruth needed to be picked up. She lived an hour further south, from the direction they initially were going to drive on their way back to San Fransisco to college. Once they picked up Ruth they decided to go up thru the mountains which would save them from driving backwards for an hour. They were five hours into the trip when a massive snow storm blew in, Abby was unable to see anything and eventually hit a guard rail outside the Country Club in Lake Tahoe. When they got out of the SUV it was basically totaled and was not drivable. They had to hike to find help, in the middle of a very bad snow-storm. The author wrote a very interesting story, and the characters made the story come to life. Read book one, because it will make you laugh, cry, sigh, shake your head and cum a lot! It's a very emotional story about six kids stranded in a snow-storm, & who are extremely lucky when Andrew comes out of his house because he heard a whistle, and he thought that was an odd sound to hear in the middle of a huge snow-storm. What he stumbles upon is six kids nearly frozen walking and half carrying a girl and all their emergency supplies, while looking for help on the deserted road heading to Lake Tahoe. Read this story and see all the adventures seven strangers can get into during a raging snow storm. I can't wait to read book two!

Put another log on this hot one

This is the first book I've read by Bella Love-Wins and it won't be the last. I personally enjoy series stories and this one leaves you waiting for the next book. If you love second chance stories and or love at first sight you'll like this one.

Abby and her friends are headed back to college. After they had to go out of the way to pick up one straggler, she leads them in a new direction and this leads to trouble. A blizzard causes them to get lost and making a wrong turn causes damage to the vehicle and leaves them stranded miles away from the main road and help. But as they try to find help Dr. Andrew Carrington finds them and invites them to stay with him.

After the death of his wife Dr. Andrew lives in a cabin alone. He's still grieving his wife and wants to be left alone. His father didn't want him to become a doctor and he wants to help his son get over his lose, so he has him work remotely from home to help with the family business.

So on this snowy evening fate has stepped in and will this be the second chance that Abby and Andrew need to bring love and happiness back into their lives.

It ends with a cliffhanger and I was lucky enough to find this book and author after the next book had been published. So I'm off to read Cabin Fever, come on and join this snow storm.

All I can say is wow!

Man that loses everything do to accident and runs..He needs to be alone. There only one place that make him happy...Lake Tahoe..

Abby was headed back to College with her friends Rob, John, Trina, Barb, and Ruth. On the way back they take a different route. The weather turn very fast, It's snowing so bad that you cant see anything and danger only lay ahead for them. They get in to accident and the only choice they have is to leave the car and start walking to find help..

Andrew was out getting stuff ready for the storm and thought he heard something he grab his gun started searching for what he heard. In the mountain you never know what was out there. He comes across Abby and her friend.. Abby is hurt and she cant walk so he offer to help her.

He moved to pick up Abby because she hurt they make eye contact and they both Freeze.

Why?

I can not wait until book 2...

Cabin Heat by Bella Love-Wins was an entertaining read...right up to the cliff-hanger ending. I hate cliff-hangers. Cabin Heat is well written and the characters are a delight but I didn't feel the book was long enough to need to split it into segments, hence 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. There's plenty of suspense, humor, action and sizzle to make this a great read...if it was a complete story. Yeah, I know, I've made my point. Hating on the cliff-hangers here. If cliff-hangers don't bother you, I recommend this book. This is a fairly short read, a good choice for those with limited time for reading.

I wanted to like it. The copy I had included the whole story, so no cliffhangers to annoy. The concept should make for a good story, and the character development that occurred was done well. There's a significant amount of improbable behavior, but not such that the story is ruined. But the author spent more time writing sex scenes than developing either the plot or the characters, with the result that neither got the attention they needed. She has obvious skill judging by those scenes, but unfortunately that wasn't applied to any great extent to other scenes. I'm sorry to give a poor rating but I was just disappointed.

Great

I love the romance story going on here. How Andrew is too scared to give into his obvious 'love at first sight'. Little does he know that Abby feels the same way. Even with dealing with the sad misfortune of losing his wife, he just can't seem to Abby out of he head. Nor does he want to. He finds everything about her amazing, and this book is full of heart stopping moments between the two of them that leave you wanting more.

This book was a huge disappointment. The cover and the idea behind it looked and sounded really good. And the sex scenes, when we finally got to them were fairly well written. However this book ends at a crucial part of the story, leaving it totally unfinished and you have to buy the next book to continue. I would have never read it had I known that. I am not interested in finding out the rest of the story to continue to read the other books.

Wow! What chemistry! You can see the fireworks between Abby and Andrew from the beginning. Andrew has been reclusive for years so he finds the group of college kids, he's a bit out of his comfort zone. I don't want to give away too much, but the book does left on a cliffhanger that will leave you wanting more.

I agree with another review that I read about a cliffhanger. It looks like you will have to purchase and read 4 books total to get this story. If you do not want to do that, I would recommend not getting this book. It was a great story but I guess that I will have to read the rest of the books at some time. At this point, I am not interested in purchasing the rest of the series.

Unfortunate book, I want those hours back

College kids get lost and crash in snow storm, then try to walk out. Up to there, story was pretty good. Kids rescued by an emotionally damaged man, and one of them, an injured girl decides to have a sexual relationship with man. None of the situations seem true to life, everything. Seems heavily contrived, save your time.

What an adventure this book turned out to be, very different to what you think. The story starts slow but seems to drag and draw you in, you have to keep reading because you need to find out what happens then the sexy things come and oh hot hotness, then comes the cliffy so of to buy the next one because you just have to know what happens. Great book very entertaining.

Though, I'm not really an avid reader of "adult" literature, I was pleasantly surprised that this book had more to it than just Pussy, ass, and dick every which way. There is an actual plot and most of the chapters aren't just smut. I like the characters as well as the sex. It's a nice story without too much ridiculousness.
