He made her his. Promised her safety. A place. A future. A life beside him.
Rebecca “Bex” Pierce never belonged to anyone or anywhere, but she chose Clutch.
Years inside the Dawnbreakers MC taught her what loyalty looked like. What it cost. And exactly where she stood in the hierarchy.
Because when it comes down to it… Clutch’s loyalty has never truly been hers.
Their marriage is cracking under the weight of silence, control, and a clubhouse that no longer feels safe. Bex knows it, but Clutch refuses to see it.
Until one night, when everything goes too far, and he makes the choice he can’t take back.
Bex doesn’t stay to watch the fallout. She runs.
What follows isn’t just a man trying to win back his wife; it’s a reckoning.
For Clutch. For the Dawnbreakers. For a system that was never built to protect women like her.
Because this time, love isn’t enough. And forgiveness isn’t guaranteed.
If he wants her back, he won’t just have to say he’s sorry… He’ll have to become someone worth choosing again.
Welcome back to the Redemption Road world.
This story takes place alongside the events of Unlawful Hearts and follows a fan-favorite character into his own breaking point.
Content Note
This book contains mature and potentially triggering content, including:
Domestic abuse and coercive control Physical and off-page sexual assault Trafficking and exploitation Violence and trauma Power imbalance within MC culture This is a story of accountability and hard-earned redemption, but the path there is not easy.
Dammit all to hell… I just deleted my review on accident. 🤬🤬🤬
ANYWAY. This was pretty good. I really liked the first half. The tension was TENSIONING! I did get a little bored in the second half.
Spoilery thoughts…
FMC is not happy living the mc life with MMC. I didn’t blame her. Their ‘home life’ was a joke. MMC thinks it’s the best thing since sliced bread and doesn’t understand his wife. They did love each other quite a bit, but the divide was growing.
Shenanigans ensue and FMC gets hurt. MMC does nothing to help. This was a great scene for angst lovers. FMC takes off and MMC loses his mind because she’s in the wind.
Massive changes for the better happen within the mc. MMC works to be a better man.
HEA was believable. I was quite surprised by where they ended up in their lives at the end. I figured their lives would be with the new and improved mc. But then again, I get it. He did truly love his wife. Sweet ending.
Overall decent read. I’ll definitely keep this author on my radar.
2.5 stars — This could have been so much better. It has all of the bones for an angst fest but there was a lot glossed over. The fmc is a trauma nurse married to a mc enforcer. She’s not cut out for club life. She has a great job with alot of overtime so I don’t buy her living at the club in a bedroom with rickety second hand furniture when she had a nice apartment beforehand. She is so not Into club life that this just doesn’t make sense. Also spoiler alert— it’s revealed that she was trafficked as a child and she’s basically is in a pseudo witness protection program. She’s been married for 3 years and her husband doesn’t know she was trafficked as a child… and plus that she’s seeing women abused at the club and none of this triggers anything her husband can pick up On…. That’s far fetched. Her husband is so In love but lets another club member hit her in the face. Okay if that’s gonna happen give me some angst.. all I felt was like what a weak ass beta man she tied the knot with. I mean it would have been angsty if he went all “Smokey” on her iykyk and treated her like she had betrayed the club. Before writing this review I started reading No Redemption Road and the first 20 % of that book will bring you to tears— so I know the author can bring the angst. This book felt like a play it safe/Don’t want to upset the safety squad book. We’re told about all the stuff that could upset the safety police.I was bored at times and did some skim reading.

The issue with redemption stories is that you have the Hero mess up to varying degrees but sometimes the mess up is so big it makes it hard for the reader to want them back together. This is one of those cases where he works for it but I'm undecided.....
The idea is the Hero is amazing to his wife, the heroine but the club comes first. The Hero has a messed up childhood and the now president of the club saved his life so he feels he owes them. The president has also taken his eye off the ball, so rot has set in.
There is a mole in the club and a long-term member accuses the heroine. The heroine is ambushed at a party and gets struck in the face and the husband/Hero let's it happen, he's furious but he doesn't intervene under order of the president. There were already cracks in their relationship but this makes her walk.
The author does reveal that the heroine hadn't been upfront in the marriage either as her past is still a secret so their relationship didn't really have a good foundation.
They work things out, move away to join the refuge the previous book's couple are building.
There were lots of side characters having issues, tbh I lost track of who was with who and who was upset with who. I'm not sure if the author plans to write their stories, I would definitely give them a try.
I will say that this new author is on my tbr list with new books she will bring out.

37% in and the MMC is weak. Brainwashed or just codependent on the club lifestyle that he can’t think for himself and only thinks for his club brothers. It astounds me that he left his wife in the same house/club/building that he watched one of his precious “brothers” hit his wife (the FMC) in. And he has no concern for her safety once he’s gone. I know I wouldn’t leave the person who hit my spouse in the same place with said spouse effectively alone to fend for themselves. Like, this is insane.
What’s worse is that the FMC escaped from multiple club brothers clutches (lol) while carrying two travel bags full of her belongings in one hand and fought off one of her assailants single handedly. Then said brothers only chased her to the door of the building and basically let her go. What!?! Two+ men, who were already assaulting the FMC with the intent to sexually assault her further, just let her go??! This story is so weak and lacking in any real actions.
Everything so far is dragged out angst between the main couple that could have been shortened by half and then all the actions all happen so easily with little to no effort. The club princess escapes without much rigmarole. The VP was arrested for days and then just released all of a sudden one night. Night being the operative word, because he’s supposedly released for under house arrest. Idk any version of this ever happening at night and a whole slew of other details that have to happen for this to be monitored. Then a lame ass confrontation of nothing more than innuendos and subtext but no actual accusations or accountability happening. Then the MMC shows what an indoctrinated pussy he is and now I’m bored and annoyed, that I thought this book was going to be better than it’s turning out to be. Smdh.
But it dragged at the end. It was very gruesome in parts too but its fake motorcycle life so I expect that. I liked that the heroine wanted to change the culture of old ladies and club girls. The two should never meet really but if does unfortunately. There were stories in here that I felt I missed.. Like more books would be available and there weren't yet. Except for Remi and somebody else. But what happened with angel and Kiara? How'd she die? It seemed I should have known that I think. And did Cipher cheat with Lacey? What about Meg? And Dani and Four and Cal seemed to have a backstory too. Those are three story lines I'd like to understand. I didn't see books for them yet so I will just wait. This is a newer author for me and I liked it. Of course there was no cheating between the main couple and that is what I like. He did threaten her with it though and I just wanted to cry. Then he didn't try and defend her when they came for her. On false charges or rumors. but he paid for it. I hated Razor and he got what he had coming. They murdered three or four people off in this book and that was kind of shocking to me. I will read this author again. As long as she keeps them relatively safe. Unfortunately it seems like a lot more readers want cheating for some reason and I think that the authors are responding to them. I don't blame them. It seems to be the best way to accumulate fans. But I just can't read that. It messes with my psyche. Lol. Good book.

Idk how to rate this because I didn’t read it in the way I normally do with books. It was more like when I’m watching a tv show and something I would hate in a book doesn’t bother me in the tv show bc I’ve dissociated or something? lol idk. So I’m just giving it 3.
I’m actually really surprised how much I liked this, I honestly started it just to skip to the betrayal scene (needed to feel something😭) and read it but I ended up starting at the beginning. Couldn’t put it down and I am not one for long separations or no dialogue for a long time between mcs. It’s a romance obviously but I kinda took my mind off that and got pretty invested in all the characters, the club developments and all that. I LOVED Torch. Everyone else had me decently interested too. Love that the club girls will be gone or atleast I’m assuming the will be for the next ones.
Safety • No v’s • No others after meeting & during separation for either H wanted to be intimate with h but she had a long day and worked with a sexual assault victim she said no, H insinuated he could get with a club girl *he regrets this and knows he was a dick and I usually would hate this and I DID but I really like the fact he reflected on how shitty it was of him multiple times throughout the book when that’s usually never the case in books* • Club girl tried to get with him he removes her hand and reminds her he’s married
I love a good betrayal story when it’s not too hard to get over…I’m undecided how I feel here. I didn’t like how Declan never listened how she hated living at the clubhouse, didn’t feel safe, and worst of all…he watched a man hit her, but when his president told him not to move he didn’t go after that man or comfort his wife?!?
That was hard to get over.
Most of the book is the aftermath of that, of Bex calling them out and trying to start over and Declan and his MC realizing they had huge issues and basically dismantling everything.
It would’ve been a way better book for me if they reunited sooner and he “courted” her like he did right at the end. That part was cute and I really liked how they discovered all the new things and experiences in the world they liked together.

Declan / Clutch- loves MC life. Focuses on the feeling of brotherhood. Enforcer
Bex - works in an ER. Sees too many women coming in with injuries from MC parties
Bex comes home from a 12 hour shift. There’s still leftover partying from the night before. Declan initiates intimacy, but she mentions the sexual assault from a MC she treated on shift.
Declan’s response is he has options and maybe he should spend time in a spare room (with a club girl). He always promised that would never happen. She goes to bed alone and realizes him even threatening that and her having to wonder shows cracks in their relationship that she doesn’t know how to fix.
Club runs into chaos. Rival MC moving in on their territory, Mara (pres sister) runs because Razor is abusing and Four being arrested due to lies.
Clutch wants Bex to accept the club and he chooses church over spending time with her after being gone days. She can’t tell him but she helped Mara escape and Razor has a suspicion. She’s scared of him.
28% in party that Angel (pres) insist everyone attends. Bex is called out and it’s obvious they are suspicious of her. Worst part is Clutch tells her to prove her loyalty. She takes her Property of Clutch cut off. Says the club should talk to the last person who was with Mara to see why she’d run. Razor slaps her and splits her lip. CLUTCH JUST STANDS THERE.
I usually do not care for MC books because of club girls and cheating. Absolutely just a personal preference.
This story sucked me in until the last page. It broke my heart and made me laugh and cry.

1. This book badly needed editing. There were SO many mistakes – wrong words, wrong spellings, missing and misused punctuation. 2. Yeah, this book pretty much lost me when Bex didn’t want to have $ex when she came home exhausted after a 12-hour shift, Clutch threatened to go to one of the club girls instead and Bex just calmly reminded him that she would leave if he cheated on her. She should have walked out on him then and there. 3. Bex said that Angel didn’t know that Razor was hitting his sister. That simply wasn’t possible. Everyone else knew. She was walking around more than once with sprains and visible bruising and Angel didn’t notice? Didn’t ask questions? I don’t buy it. 4. Clutch said, “F*ck is that what she thinks? That I think of her as property…” Dude, you literally made her wear the word on her back! 🙄🙄🙄 5. Started out pretty good but then turned into a boring $hitshow with a convoluted plot, WAY too many characters and an MMC who did nothing but whine and feel sorry for himself for a situation that HE caused. DNF

Read on Wattpad. I have not read the published version. A chapter at a time the story was readable, but piecemeal reading is different from reading straight through. I’m not sure about story cohesion.
Hubby puts club above everything else, this ultimately puts her in danger and sends her on the run. But she ends up facing a difficult past—definitely needs trigger warnings.
I guess my main concern with the book is that there are actually very few scenes between the H and h, like only 10 or 20% of the book or something! The book was mostly about reforming the club and all other side characters and I didn’t really feel the chemistry between the main characters. The angst at the beginning was really good though.
THIS!!! I can’t wait for more! This is exactly what I want from a mc book, the angst, the grovel, eventually the brother & sister hood of a mc!!! I hope that clutch makes his way back to the club and things are healthier but oh I can’t wait for more!! And I hope so badly cypher didn’t physically cheat on meg!!!!!
there are a few problems with this book.. first off too long, too many characters, it got bogged down under the weight of all that the author was trying to accomplish and she doesn't have the writing chops for it, also there isn't any feeling to the book, not sure but parts felt like ai and the thing with ai is that it's empty and flat writing.. second of all, we don't see much of the relationship, there is supposed to be this big long redemption arc for the husband but it falls flat to me. The flashbacks we get of their relationship don't help, he didn't seem worth it, buys her club bunny clothes, making her live in a place she feels unsafe, their sex life was one pump chump and not to mention the fact that her relationship was based on a lot of untruths, he didn't really know who she was, so the foundation was rocky to begin with anyways.. the gut punch moment, when he choses the club over her and she's out right abused and harrased by the members, yeah that sucked but when she left she should have stayed gone from him and moved on as well. I didn't care about him at all. it took soooooo long to get to their supposed HEA that I couldn't be bothered to care, I skimmed. I disliked ALL the characters, that's some feat, so props to the author for that.
If you love angsty goodness, this is your book. Bex and Declan (road name is Clutch) love each other, but Bex isn’t happy with MC life and Declan doesn’t know any other way to live. Bex is also keeping a big secret. I won’t spoil that but damn, it’s bad. I wanted to hug her. I wanted to punch Declan/Clutch in the fucking face multiple times. It takes something huge to open both of their eyes. Bex leaves and Clutch finds out some things about his club that he was blind to. But this all comes too little too late. I didn’t think there would be anything Clutch could do to come back from it. But the man puts in the work. He’s forced to if he wants his wife back. She disappears for like 6 months without a trace.
My only problem was there needs to be a who’s who chart for all the side characters. I had trouble following who was who to whom.
The retrospective read to the fractures in their relationship worked really well in the first half of this book and I was on tenterhooks for the moment everything fell apart. I thought all the chapters 'fixing' the MC, cleaning house and setting up a home, the introduction of the other couples and the framework for possible future books was pointless for the couple to never even contemplate coming back. It was an MC environment like no other.
Honestly don’t know how these men are able to run these MCs when they share one brain cell amongst each other. I’m not sure how Molly could have forgiven Clutch because it couldn’t have been me.
I made it to 86% and just couldn’t force myself to continue. It was interesting for about the first third and then it was a giant snooze fest. Should have been a novella.
Bex is married to Declan/Clutch (40), enforcer in the Dawnbreakers MC. The marriage is strained because she hates living in the clubhouse, which is like a frat house. Declan promised her a house but hasn't followed through.
Declan loves the MC and thinks it's about family and loyalty.
One day a brother named Razor beat up his Old Lady Mara, the Pres' own sister. Bex sees no loyalty to women.
A rival MC is seen sniffing around the Dawnbreakers territory. The president, Angel, sends Clutch on a scouting mission to see what's up with the rival club, and he's gone for a week.
While Clutch is gone, Bex sneaks Mara out in the trunk of her car. Razor suspects Bex helped, but he can't prove it. Also, the club VP, Four, gets arrested. Supposedly, Four was sleeping with an informant.
Bex leaves to stay at the hospital, where she's a nurse, instead of the clubhouse. She's there for 3 days.
At a church meeting, Razor starts a rumor by saying he "heard" Four was sleeping with a nurse, and now the rival president, Preach, has been visiting the nurse (the informant) at the hospital. And Mara disappeared after going to the hospital. Razor doesn't tell them where he "heard" all this, but the implication is that Bex is the informant.
Clutch doesn't believe Four passed info to an informant, because Four isn't a traitor, and he wouldn't cheat on his wife. Clutch also doesn't think Bex is a traitor.
So, the Pres, Angel, wants to build club unity by having an all-hands gathering that night. Clutch has to leave on club business (again), but he tells Bex he'll be back tonight. She doesn't want to go to the gathering without him, especially with rumors that she's the informant. She tries to talk to Clutch, but he doesn't make time before he leaves.
When Clutch finally returns, he watches Angel interrogate Bex. Angel asks her about her past, which she never talks about, accusing her of being a recruiter for a sex trafficking ring, like she's Ghislaine Maxwell.
Bex says she doesn't trust Angel with his sister Mara, and she doesn't trust Clutch anymore, either, because he's allowing this interrogation. It ends up with Razor hitting Bex in the face.
The final straw is that Angel raises his hand, palm out, like he's telling Clutch to "stay" and not defend her, and Clutch obeys, so she throws her cut down at his feet.
Bex packs quickly, but when she tries to leave out the front door, Razor is waiting for her and says that since she's not an Old Lady anymore, she's "up for grabs." Bex manages to escape, and drives away with no destination in mind.
When Clutch returns with Four after he's released from jail, Razor tells them Bex left, without telling them he assaulted her. They find her abandoned vehicle on the side of the road, that's been tampered with. One of the prospects admits what happened with Razor assaulting Bex.
Clutch barges into Razor's room in the clubhouse, but Razor is gone.
So, they're looking for Bex but don't know how to find her. They're also looking for a club girl who was helping Razor, named Kori, and they're looking for Razor.
In the meantime, Mara reappears and tells everyone that she left because Razor was beating her up. She says every time she talked to her brother Angel, he said he didn't have time for her relationship drama, and Bex was the only one who helped her. Mara assures them Bex is safe but doesn't want anyone to know where she is.
The club's IT guy finds a file on Bex, except her real name was Molly, and she was a trafficking victim, not a recruiter.
Bex went to the same women's shelter Mara had disappeared to, then she went back to her foster family, whom she hasn't seen them since she started living under a new name. She's back because the club knows about the sex trafficking, so her fake identity is shot to shit, and the foster family are the only "safe" people.
Razor kidnaps 2 family members and tries to get 2 brothers to exchange their Old Ladies for these other 2 family members. One is a little boy and one is a sister. One of the Old Ladies saves herself by shooting the place up. Razor is shot but still alive. Clutch is shot in the shoulder, but it's not too serious.
They end up killing Razor and his accomplaces in their murder shed.
During the time Bex is gone, they make a lot of changes to the club.
They find Bex very near the end of the book. The "Bex" identity is wiped like she never existed, and she's living as Molly. Clutch has to show her that the asshole "Clutch" personality is gone too, and he's just Declan now.
I was between 🌟 so I went with the higher one, but I will explain...
So, there a few things that I really liked about this book and a few things I really disliked.
Let's start with the likes (light spoilers ahead)...
I really liked who Declan/Clutch became. I loved how he truly understood where he went wrong. It took effort, but he was able to take out everyone that ever hurt Bex. He did it for her, yes, but also for everyone that could have potentially been hurt in the future.
I loved the fact that the entire MC was able to step back and see where they went wrong and also cut out everyone that didn't understand they couldn't continue that way.
I loved Bex strength when things got rough. When she needed to step up and help the president's sister (Mara) with the risk to her own life.
What I disliked...
Bex/Molly not trying to see that though the MC messed up big time, they changed. They were trying. They wanted to make it safe for future generations. They rid themselves of all the bad apples and though they still messed up, they are hard men after all, they tried to understand where they were wrong.
I hated that even though Declan realized his mistakes and learned from them, Bex wasn't willing to entertain going back to the only family he had ever known. She didn't even try. Look, I get that they messed up, but they more than made amends. The ones that threatened her and made her feel unsafe were gone. The ones left loved her and respected her for opening their eyes. I was furious with her for that. I believe if he truly tried, if he meant it, then she could make an effort to meet him halfway. The thing is, it takes two to destroy a relationship the way their's imploded. She can blame him for everything, but she could have explained thoroughly, not just be a harpy. She could have explained about her past. Yeah, I get she was scared of losing him, but she walked out of his life, so where was the fear then? Oh, I know, there wasn't fear because he's the one who messed up and she held all the cards then. Or at least that's how it made ME feel.
In the end, he gives it all up to make her happy and yes her happy makes him happy, blah, blah, blah. Nope, he has to have more than just her happiness... but I digress.
The final thing I didn't like is that you could actually skip a couple of paragraphs at a time and in a few cases a couple of chapters and still know what was going on. Too much fluff and too much woe is me. The author could have knocked off 100 pages and still gotten the point across. Just too wordy.
I probably won't read another book by this author, but nonetheless it was a decent read.
So many books put all of the sacrifices, all of the concessions on the female in the relationship to make it work, to forgive the male when he's done so little to earn it. This smashes that trend to pieces with the most incredible redemption story I can remember reading.
I was hooked from the beginning from the emotional tension before the action even started. Once the intrigue and fighting commenced and ratcheted up the tension, there was no way I could put the book down. This had an incredible amount of emotional maturity that we don't allow ourselves to expect from romance books. This delivered all the emotional feelings, fast pacing, immersive world building, and thoughtful handling of tough subjects without going into so much detail that it was triggering. You don't know exactly what Molly/Bex went through as a victim of human trafficking, but you know it was bad, you know it was scarring, and you know that it has shaped the character in ways that the author did exceptionally well capturing without bogging readers down in the horror of specifics.
The characters were well-rounded and the plot thoroughly well conceptualized, developed, and then executed. There were a few typographical errors, but no plot errors that I could detect. The most amazing thing about the character development was a depth of emotional exploration that is mesmerizing. Even when Clutch\Declan was at his worst because of the depth of development in his inner monologues using those opportunities to provide the thorough exploration of his thoughts, feelings, and realization of his personal and relationship failings I never hated him, where I have come to hate many a male character. Because of her level-headed maturity and again the well-developed inner monologues exploring where she was coming from I admired and never got irritated or disappointed with Bex.
I don't just highly recommend this book, I admire the author's efforts creatvity and emotional intelligence after reading it, which is also very rare.

Review: I love the way this author weaves a story. She takes you on a journey into the land that she has created. I felt for the FMC and really stood with her. In the beginning, the MMC could kick rocks as far as I was concerned. However, he began to redeem himself and by the end I was hoping that he could win her back.
Natasha Derouchie has knocked it out of the park yet again! We return to the No Redemption Road universe with Property of No One. I always thought that the worst betrayal you could have is cheating, but this books shows that there are some things worse than that. I honestly had no idea how Clutch was going to be redeemed after the way he treated Bex, but Natasha found a way!
I must say that the Dawnbreakers MC was one of the worst that I have ever seen. I could not stand most of the men of the club. Razor in particular was absolutely evil. I could not even begin to understand how anyone couldn’t see the kind of man he was. The stupid blind loyalty of the club boggled my mind, but it fit the toxic culture they had bred. Bex didn’t feel safe amongst them and there was a reason. Clutch should have listened.
I loved the way that the club was dismantled and built up stronger from within. I loved the girl power aspect of this and the strength of all the women and the way they banded together and supported each other. I loved learning more about where Bex came from and how much stronger you realized she was for all she had survived. She was such an awesome woman!
The side characters were also awesome. I loved Meg, in particular, and I am really hoping we get her and Cypher’s story. They were pretty intriguing and I am dying for their side of all that happened and where they will be going from here. It was also great seeing Remi again! She is one of my favorite characters ever!
I feel like a broken record with the way I speak of how much I love Natasha’s books, but they’re just so engrossing and awesome! She has a way of really pulling you in and making you care about a character and in this case redeeming the seemingly irredeemable. I loved it! 💜
3.5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐💫 🌶️🌶️ I'll be honest, I got the message of the book, it was hitting and relatable, however, I don't think women calling one another " whore" or variations of the word, in a non friendly manner really pushes part of the story forward, regardless if the person fucked up deeply, that particular insult was out of place. This was good, and mostly a nice change of pace. ⚠️ Check trigger warnings!* Tropes: -Marriage in trouble - Mc romance - Secret pasts
* Includes but not limited to: - human trafficking ( children) ( mentions and barely there recollections) - physical violence ( on page; not between main characters) - violence, illicit business persuits, carrying of weapons, use of drugs and excessive alcohol ( MC life style) - PTSD - shootings ( on page, graphic) - injuries from various natures ( GSW, torture, and others) - Death - Domestic Violence ( prominent secondary character arc) - control & tampering of birth control (prominent secondary character arc) - derogatory vocabulary & behaviour towards women
