I was so excited to have cam and Nell back!!
Mrs Crowe!! What another wild ride, I laughed, I choked.
This book did not disappoint, I was so happy to finally get to read more of cam and Nell’s story! The most mix matched couple but also one of my favourite couples.
The plot was plotting, this was 5 stars for me!

Oh this was just the perfect 2nd instalment to the Game of Shadows duet. I LOVED seeing my hurricane Nell and Cam again! Once again she had me laughing, cringing at certain torture scenes, and crying... real tears! I shit you not, real tears leaked from me and that was something I wasn't expecting because a certain part of this book was both tragic and beautiful with how Nell dealt with it. IYKYK.
I FUCKING LOVED that Cam was taken. Sick I know. But it's always fmc's getting taken and needing rescue, however I loved that it was Cam's turn, even if his rescue had a sad turn of events.
At this point I just think the author is cruel! Brave and cruel! Twists were twisting. Turns were turning. I felt so much. I think im still processing.
Cam being taken was a great opportunity for Nell to show how strong, resilient and fucking baddass she is. Love her so much.
And at the end, when a certain special day goes wrong... well, in their eyes, it didn't go wrong, if anything it made the day more fun for them (iykyk lol) it was fantastic.
