The devotionals follow the theme of the Kingdom of God very closely, which I appreciate very much. Each devotional has optional Bible readings that reinforce the message well, and allows for further meditation and reflection.
Jesus talks a lot about the Kingdom of Heaven, but we take it for granted, and usually have a narrow view of God's work as primarily personal salvation. I like to start my day with having God's Kingdom in mind, and I have decided to go through this book for another year.
The verses are not repetitive, as can be seen from the verse index at the end of the book.
