Non fiction. Lawrence Ferlinghetti says the book is "an undiscovered classic of personal writing, a record of the growth of her woman-self..her life and times are seen through her very uncommon sensibility and very uncommon mind." 350pp., all clean, tight, and intact. Shipped Under 1 kilogram. Literature; Inventory 008201.
Would have benefited from developmental editing (starts off as an autobiography, switches into and out of New York and San Francisco culture hero character sketches) and copyediting ("Wayne Thiebault"). But it's a rare document, with passages to pages on Kees, Manny Farber, Turk Murphy, Rexroth, Ferlinghetti, Bob Helm, Robert Duncan. Just see Myrer and Knoll before taking too much from the portrait of Weldon Kees.
