Eh, I'm sorry but this was boring to me, it doesn't really give any "toxic relationship" vibes, just bdsm. The storyline is just half silly classmate convos and the other half is them doing semi-sfw experiments. I like the artstyle and bdsm but thats it. I don't think I'm going to continue this because I need actual good lore.

as a long-time enjoyer of all things freaky, messy, and morally questionable, i’ve often been disappointed by the lack of such themes in sapphic media. so when i came across this story — a manga, no less — i was immediately intrigued.

actually reading it, though, left me surprisingly uncomfortable — not because of the protagonists’ ages per se (well, not entirely) or even their dynamic overall, but mainly because of the art style. the characters look way too cutesy and childlike for the kind of content being portrayed (at least to me). i just can't for the life of me reconcile their doll-like appearances with the outright kinky stuff happening. the way they’re drawn pushes the whole thing uncomfortably close to lolicon territory. not necessarily in any strict or technical sense (and i honestly wouldn’t know where that line even is drawn) but that’s the association it triggered for me aesthetic wise, and i just couldn’t shake it.

so yeah, while i'm not the biggest fan of the specific fetishes the author chose to depict, i'm not inherently opposed to reading something like that either. the narrative does explore some very charged dynamics and it could be really interesting to see where it all goes from here... the visual side of it all, however, just didn’t sit right with me and made the whole thing really hard to get into. i'm not sure i’ll be continuing the series.

i don't know what to feel for this? short but sweet (not really), i like that it has realistic depictions instead of it all being romanticized, the characters actually have personalities that are prone to changing, both of the characters are severely unstable, sadomasochistic, and i think this manga shows how that dynamic can slip and turn into something really unhealthy and dangerous for both parties, even if they loved each other it wasn't the healthiest love. . . the ending broke me

Weirdly flat art that somehow complements how perverse the storyline is. The side characters aren't super memorable nor distinct other than physical traits, but they're cute and it serves to highlight the main dynamic duo.

Read at your own discretion. I physically recoiled reading this volume. It gets less physically torturous in later volumes, so if you're interested in the characters but don't want to sit through the torture, I'd skip to volume 2.
