I have been corresponding with the author about a photo I took at a Byrds concert in the 60s which he wanted to use for an upcomong book he was writing about the band. As an exchange he offered me a copy of his previous book, "STRANGE BREW". I received it yesterday. This is truly a passionate view of that time when the Brits embraced American Blues music and gave it an English interpretation. His in-depth time-line is truly a comprehensive look at British Blues at that time. It's vary apparent Christopher cares deeply about the subject. I would recommend this book to anyone who cares about British music in the late-60s.

I was lucky the author added my comments in the book as the band I was in Conqueror Worm at the time opened for Cream Oct 13, and 14th 1968
He quoted me fairly and I was happy to contribute my experiences back then. Once published I was impressed with the detail and added comments from so many people surrounding the bands and it gives a very insightful look to the influence at that time..
