Marie
I spent five years in a hell hidden beneath paradise. I survived by making myself indispensable, but I never stopped planning my escape.

When I finally break free, I crash into a stranger with eyes like ice and a touch like fire. Wade Easton is dangerous, powerful, and fifteen years my senior. He offers me safety in his fortress and promises to destroy my hell.

He doesn't just want to save me; he wants to keep me. And now, surrender feels safer than running.

Wade
I’ve spent my life building an empire and raising kings in a world of pawns. I’m forty-seven and ready for peace. Then a beautiful, wounded woman falls into my arms, begging for help.

Marie is a survivor, a warrior wrapped in bandages. She wants to fight alone, but she needs someone to carry the weight she’s been holding for too long.

She sees herself as broken, but I see the woman I’ve been waiting for. I won't just rescue her from the nightmare; I’m taking her home to keep forever.

I guess I have a daddy kink now??? Because daddy Wade has absolutely NO BUSINESS being this hot!! I loved this book so much, it was emotional, hot and incredibly indulgent. Marie has been through complete hell and definitely deserves someone who is committed to taking care of her. Because what do you mean this man is even concerned if she goes to the bathroom enough?? This book was pretty character driven with a very high emphasis on the daddy kink (so if you’re not into that, this book is not for you). They’re 15 years apart yet they have so much damn chemistry, I love what a sweet caretaker Wade is, and how sunshiney Marie is his perfect match. I however also loved how as she healed she became more bratty as the book progressed. I admit though this book was supposedly about healing, the timeline for her healing was very very fast considering she was kidnapped and trapped underground for five years, however I will overlook it because the book was just so fun. I also feel like the final plot twist arrived a tad bit too early (according to my kindle around the 75% mark), so the last 25% of this book was just fluff and spice, which is good but I wish there was a little more actual plot, because all the built up intensity was lost quickly and spice took more of a priority. I did love the 2nd epilogue though where we got to see Wades 4 kids, their spouses and 2 grandchildren meet Marie, and as expected they were chaotic, loud and completely adorable. I really enjoyed this book and give it a 4.5/5

“"I want to stay," she whispered finally. "I want to wake up in your estate, see the ocean, have Honey on your beach, and eat the oxtail soup your chef makes. I want my pink clothes in your white spaces. I want all of it." "And me?" I asked, raising a brow. "Yeah," she breathed, snuggling deep into my side. "I guess I'll keep the grandpa too."”

“He lunged, and I did the only logical thing. I shoved the entire dumpling into my mouth”

🇬🇧 I received this ARC from @thesmuthood.

I knew this was book 4 in the series, but they are interconnected standalones. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything because I hadn’t read the rest.

It was a wonderful book to read. I laughed a lot, but there was also plenty of depth.
Enough spice and enough tension.

An age gap always works really well for me. I’m just not really into the “daddy” thing 🙈

Tropes:
• Age gap
• Billionaire romance
• Forced proximity
• Instant love
• Protective MMC / “he takes care of her”

Review:
Thank you to smuthood for the ARC! Renee Mo is a new to me author, and while this wasn’t my favorite, I’m still glad I gave it a try.

The blurb and tropes were exactly what I love, so I went in expecting this to be a hit. I didn’t realize this was book 4 in a series when I started, but it works well as a standalone. I never felt lost, which I appreciated. I do think I might have enjoyed this more if it had been a novella.

I did enjoy parts of the book. I loved his nickname for her and how protective he is. His kids were hilarious, and the family dynamic was such a highlight for me. She had some really sweet moments and came across as incredibly loyal, with a strong sense of protectiveness that I appreciated. Overall, the character traits for both the MMC and FMC were well done & definitely stood out.

There were a few elements that just didn’t fully land for me:
• The daddy kink — I’m usually all for it, but this one crossed the line for me personally.
• The spice level — which is surprising for me to say, but it felt like too much without enough substance
• The main plot points — they felt rushed and not fully developed
• The overall balance — a major plot moment happened earlier than expected, and the rest of the story leaned heavily into spice

While I do enjoy spice, I found myself wanting more depth and stronger development. I kept waiting for those bigger emotional and plot-heavy moments to really hit, and they just didn’t quite land for me.

That said, I can absolutely see this working for readers who love very spice-forward romances. And I can absolutely see how, if you’ve been following this series and waiting for Daddy Wade book, this would be really satisfying It just wasn’t the right fit for my personal reading preferences.

With all this said… did I have some very entertaining reactions to certain scenes and moments? yes 😂
Sometimes a book doesn’t fully hit, but still gives you a fun ride along the way.

If my personal daddy kink hadn't already been activated, whoooweeee this would've done it! This book wasn't just a great story and spicy connection, it had a deep sense of trauma and healing in it. Of vulnerability and grief, and safety. Experiencing what Marie went through was tragic and seeing her still find a way to escape (physically) was inspiring. She bumps into (literally) Wade Easton and of course his every desire is to protect her then possess and ruin her (in all the good ways), but he absolutely becomes the man we all want and helps her carry her pain and sorrow and gives her a place to choose her path forward. It was emotional and endearing, and being the first one I've read from Renée Mo, it will NOT be the last! I am diving into the other three books and everything else she's written because bringing the heat, the connection, the emotionality of these characters means I need more!

Thank you to the author and The Smuthood for the early copy.

I loved the idea of this book, the storyline being so dark and trauma induced. I really wanted to like the characters more than I did unfortunately. Wade was stoic and strong, possessive and territorial but gentle for her of course. He was patient and kind with Marie. That being said, the Daddy kink that I normally love actually made me uncomfortable in this book. I feel like from Marie’s dark beginning, the trauma and abuse, to the Daddy trope was a weird way to go. Her oral fixation that he curated also became uncomfortable for me in a very weird way. I’m so happy Marie was saved and that she stayed so strong and even saved herself, but the book for me was awkward at best and had so much potential that I felt it fell short of. Honestly a 2 for me but gave it 3 for the idea of the book.

Thank you to Renee Mo and The Smuthood for the opportunity to read this ARC. This was my first book by Renee Mo and I really liked it. This is the 4th book in this interconnected standalone series. Marie finally escapes after being in hell for 5 years. When she does escape she runs into Wade who offers her safety. Marie and Wade are 15 years apart, but the chemistry is undeniable!

This is truly a time that I am so torn on how to rate this. So I guess I will just go through what worked for me and then what didn’t. Before that I will say, when a book is discussing dark topics…specifically SA and especially when it’s layered in with other types of horrible situations and traumas, I feel that it’s very hard to pull off writing it well (as well as writing on those topics can be).

I genuinely was pulled in and was hooked by the premise of this book and while reading it, I struggled to put it down. The way that Marie truly fought for not only herself but others as well. She was so strong and she NEVER lost her fire despite the hell she was being put through. Wade was so patient, kind and understanding with her. I would say it’s because he had experience dealing with trauma with two of his kids but honestly it went deeper than that. He encouraged Marie to find her voice again, to find her light again, to be who she was before everything and yet be stronger and better because of what she went through.

What bothered me and honestly would have been fine if it wasn’t such a frequent occurrence was the repetition throughout the book. The same thing would be said multiple times over the span of a few pages and while yes the wording was changed, it was still saying the same thing. Also there were somethings that were just a hard no for me but I can’t say without spoiling things soo I will just say as someone who has read A LOT of dark romance and some pretty messed up and weird things…I was put off by two main things that were done in the book.

Overall, the story was good, the execution could have been a little more tactful, a little more believable. So while I don’t think it was a bad book by any means, the things that I didn’t vibe with really got to me. You can do with that information what you will. 😊

Thanks to the Smuthood and Renée Mo for the eARC!

This series has a special place in my heart and I love the family that Daddy Easton has built; reading their stories before getting to this one gave me a much bigger appreciation for Wade. I'm so glad that he finally has his very own HEA.

This book does have some dark and triggering themes, so I would definitely check trigger warnings before you dive into this one. But now for the good stuff--if you didn't have a daddy kink already, Wade Easton just might give you one. Our FMC, Marie, has spent years in captivity enduring horrific abuse, escapes her abusers, and runs right into Wade during her escape begging for help. Wade takes on the role of rescuer and ends up falling head over heels (and yes, it's insta-love like the other men in this series) with Marie due to her fighting spirit, caring nature, and bravery in the face of the horrors she experienced. Wade steps in to cater to anything Marie might need, ensuring she prioritizes herself and her own well-being for once instead of others. Wade's patience and guidance of Marie through dealing with her trauma is really touching and his celebration of even her most minor successes after living through what she did. He really is the textbook definition of a daddy for her and takes the job seriously, with pleasure and without complaint. Marie's strength and determination to save the other women is admirable and her ability to sink into vulnerability once she felt safe with Wade made the reader feel real happiness for her. I can't imagine how one would recover from a situation like that, but you would hope it is with the love, patience, and care that Marie was able to experience. Her ingenuity in creating her escape plan and obtaining evidence to save everyone and expose the Sanctuary was impressive. Marie is a gamechanger for Wade and even though their relationship develops very quickly, it doesn't really feel unrealistic and really kind of feels organic. Their love for each other is sweet and it brings a smile to your face knowing that two people who were in need of very different things found them in each other at a time when they both needed it.

I did feel that Marie seemed a bit too childlike for her 32 years and it kind of bothered me but I've never been in the position she was in for so many years and can't speak to how that affects emotional and mental growth so I tried to give a little bit of grace here. I was also surprised about the rapid evolution of a physical relationship, but again, everyone heals differently and tried to give a little grace here too. Lastly, there is a scene at the end of the book that is definitely not for everyone; it takes period play to a new level, so just be warned and brace yourself or skip this part if you're not into that. Lastly, after being away from her dad for 5 years, I wanted to see just a little bit more connection between her, her father, and Wade.

I really enjoyed Wade's epilogue and Marie's introduction to their family. I love reading about all of them together and once again, Adrian takes the cake and really brings great comedic relief and timing to their interactions. ("ISLA! I made it weird!"). Really enjoyed being back in this world and am looking forward to more stories set in this world. Four solid stars from me.

Daddy Easton's story finally arrived, and it truly lived up to his nickname.
Marie was ripped from her life and everything that made her happy; five years of captivity broke her but she still found the strength to carry on. She never lost hope of escaping, of feeling free again and when she finally had the chance, she didn't let it slip away, she executed her plan even while wounded and that's when she met Wade.

Wade is a man who has always been in control business made him structured and decisive, accustomed to planning every step, however, seeing his sons start their own families he began to want the same for himself. He longed for a woman who would turn his world upside down and become his partner, fate seemed to hear him when his path crossed with Marie a woman fleeing not only her captors but also her own wounds.

They met under difficult circumstances, Wade saw in her someone broken but also incredibly strong a woman who had endured the unimaginable and still longed to feel loved, protected, and free, he decided to help her, not only to eliminate those who had hurt her but also to heal, because the attraction he felt for her went far beyond that. He wanted to show her that she could trust again, that she deserved love and that she was stronger than she believed, despite all the pain Marie found in Wade someone who gave her security, who allowed her to make her own decisions, who respected her process and gave her the space she needed to rebuild herself.

When they both manage to find a balance and begin to build something together, danger reappears but Marie is no longer the same, she defends herself, protects herself and shows how much she has grown. It's impossible not to admire her; everything she achieved was thanks to her own strength, although Wade's support was key along the way, in the end she opens up completely and Wade makes her the center of his world, the woman for whom he would burn everything down, together they transform their pain into something more, making every obstacle worthwhile.

I deeply loved this book, it was painful to accompany Marie through everything she went through but it was also beautiful to see her heal, discover herself and reclaim her essence. Wade Daddy Easton did not disappoint, like his children he showed that he would do anything for the woman he loves, he respected her timing, gave her freedom and made her his queen, they both captivated me.

It was also very special to reconnect with familiar characters, closing this universe with their story feels fitting, though it also leaves the door open for something new and I have to admit that I'm eager for what's to come because there are characters who show great promise and this story definitely doesn't end here, rather it's the beginning of something new. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Undeniable Paradise is the 4th book in the Undisputed Series by Renée Mo. I didn’t read the first three books, but I wished I did just so I could have known the background of all the sons. However, I did enjoy this book really much.

Undeniable Paradise follows Wade Easton and Marie Rivers. Marie Rivers is a girl who loves the ocean. It grounds her, and she doesn’t like to be far from it for too long. As a tour guide, she is able to share her love for the ocean with others. Thinking she was about to talk business with someone who was interested in her services, Marie was taken against her will and was held captive for 5 years. During those 5 years, she did everything she could to survive and kept hope that she will escape and help those around her. It was now or never to execute her escape plan, and she did. Marie ran into someone who helped her, and that person was Wade Easton.

Wade Easton is a man who thrives off control and structure, but he isn’t fulfilled in life. After experiencing his sons find the love of their lives, he knows something is missing from his life. A special someone who can rely on him but also be his in every way possible. Planning on meeting with some people, a woman tumbled into him and altered his world, and that woman was Marie.

Wade helps Marie in anyway she needs it, and Wade also from what she was escaping from. Along with this, Wade makes sure to remind her of how strong Marie is, and he is so proud of the woman she is. Wade makes sure to praise Marie in hopes to strengthen her and know she is capable of anything she puts her mind to. Marie went through a lot during those 5 years of captivity, and Wade strives to uplift her at a pace that is good for Marie. As time, love, and trust goes on, Marie and Wade grow fond of each other, and their relationship flourishes in an incredible way.

This book was really moving to me. Marie went through so much, but she came out on top and was reminded she is a strong and brave woman. Wade was so patient with her and used everything in his power to make sure was taken cared of and know she is worth it. They were puzzle pieces that were meant to fit in each other, and they love will carry them on and grow bigger and bigger. This book had my emotions everywhere. The love Wade shows for Marie is so pure, and his sons are just the same for their wives. A great read that I 100% recommend.

First Renée Mo book and OMG, why have I not read her before? I could kick myself. This story is just stunning. Beautiful. It’ll be a book I return to, I already know. 100000000% recommend.

Not only is this a beautiful story but the descriptions and detail that Renée is able to capture with words on a page (screen) left my speechless at times. Goosebumps more than once. I shed tears, laughed, swooned, cheered, and smiled more than anything. I could picture exactly what she’s describing. I was there. I felt all that I read and at the end, I was truly sad it was over. Happy to have experienced that kind of beauty but sad it was over.

Marie is an islander, born and raised. The island’s best tour guide. An award worked hard of and she’s proud of it. She loves the ocean like it’s a part of her. She ends up being kidnapped and sold as a commodity to sick, disgustingly wealthy men who think women are “things” to be used and abused as they see fit. The head jerk in charge sees her value and instead of “servicing the men”, she is forced to manage the other women. To “schedule” them with their “clients”. And lives every day with guilty feelings that she was complicit. Yet she was just surviving day to day. Doing what she could to help and protect. She does everything she can to keep the other 19 women safe. As safe as they can be. Marie is bound and determined to escape and get help. And SHE DOES!! She escapes and literally runs into Wade Easton, our billionaire Daddy.

Wade immediately sees a woman in need and he has the money and resources to provide assistance. And provide he does! He saves her and gives her the resources to work to save the others. He also cares for her in every possible way. Yes, he is drawn to her like none other before, but he’s patient. He wants to possess her. But he also wants her healthy and working through her trauma. He is so patient and gentle with her. He is her rock and her anchor when she’s spiraling in grief and guilt. He guides her and builds her up. He helps her see how strong and brave she truly is.

AH!!! I don’t have the words to express how incredible this book was. This is book 4 in a series and can be read as a standalone. I did not read the previous books but I will be going back to read them. ASAP. I didn’t feel that I was missing anything and understood all that was going on. I just know that Renée Mo is an incredible writer and I cannot wait to read more.

YES YES YES RECOMMEND all day!

Marie is an island girl who is living the perfect life, spending her days working as a tour guide and spending her free time at the Ocean with her sweet dog, Honey. Marie is deceived by a potential client when she is kidnapped and taken away from her happy life. Marie is held in captivity for 5 years. Her 5 years in captivity did not break her. Doing what she had to do to survive. She remained strong for the girls who depended on her and never lost hope on one day escaping and saving her girls. Marie plans her escape, and when the moment arises, she doesn’t waste any time and sets her plan in motion.

Wade is a billionaire mogul, who has everything one would want in life. But despite having everything, he can’t help but feel like something is missing. As he watches all of his sons fall fast and hard in love with their wives, he can’t help but long for the same thing.

It’s during Marie’s escape where she literally crashes into Wade. It’s while she’s in his arms that she asks him for help, and without any hesitation, Wade takes Marie away from her captors and brings her to the safety of his home.

From their very first encounter, Wade has an overwhelming need to protect Marie, and it is a reoccurring theme of the book. Marie is a survivor. And Wade recognizes this. Throughout this book she does so much healing. It was so satisfying to see Marie come into her strength and rediscover herself. Wade (Daddy Easton) is everything! He was right there with her. Wade makes her feel so safe and protected, giving her everything she needs and letting her take things at her pace. Always letting her know that he was right there is she needed him.

Watching Marie heal from her past trauma and then watching her and Wade’s relationship develop throughout the book was satisfying. How they were able to give each other what the other one needed. They truly brought the best out of one another. This book had my emotions everywhere. The ending of this book was so gratifying! Let’s just say everyone gets what they deserve 😉 definitely recommend and will be going back to read the rest of this series!

The ruse of a business meeting lures Marie Rivers, albeit reluctantly, off the Caribbean Horizon Tours yacht, where she is tragically kidnapped. For five long years she's made herself indispensable, biding her time until an opportunity for escape presents itself.

When that time arrives, Marie is thrust into the arms of Wade Easton, literally. Catching her before she falls, he is instantly enamored. Being her safe place, her knight in shining armor, her Daddy, becomes his singular focus.

At the core of Undeniable Paradise lies a dark subject, but the theme of the book is really about overcoming trauma and the ability to love and trust through healing. There's a bit of revenge sprinkled in and plenty of steam, but we are granted a beautiful love story.

Thank you to The Smuthood and Renée Mo for the ARC! 🩷

I absolutely loved this book!! I can't believe this is the 4th book in the Undisputed series—I’m so sad it’s over, and I’m planning a full reread already!

This story follows Marie, an island girl living a life she loves as a tour guide—until everything is taken from her. She is held captive for five years, but during that time, proves just how strong, resilient, and determined she is, as she does everything she can to survive. When she finally gets a chance to escape, she takes it, and literally runs straight into Wade.

Wade is a billionaire business mogul who thrives on control. On the surface, he has everything—but lately, something's been missing. He’s tired of meaningless relationships and wants something real—someone he can cherish, protect, and build a life with. The moment Marie runs into him, he’s instantly captivated… and from there, he's all in.

Wade helps Marie navigate the aftermath of everything she’s endured, supporting her through healing while never taking away her strength. I loved how their relationship balanced devotion and empowerment—she learns to trust and lean on him, and he reminds her everyday how capable and brave she is. They truly bring out the best in each other.

Marie’s growth throughout the story was so great to read. Watching her reclaim her happiness was powerful, and that, along with Wade's unwavering devotion was perfect.

The pacing was also really well done, especially considering the heavier themes—it never felt rushed or overwhelming.

It was an emotional, but sweet, and powerful end to the series! And as a bonus, we got to see familiar faces from the rest of the Undisputed series! I highly recommend this book, and the entire series!! ....Looking forward to Kyan, Alistair, and Juniper's story now!! 👀

I received an ARC of this book.

Wade Easton is a HOT DADDY! 🥵

Marie is an island girl living a picture perfect life as an awarded tour guide when her worst nightmare happens. After escaping from a horrific situation and running for her life she runs into Wade.

Wade is a billionaire mogul who didn’t know what he was looking for until Marie fell into his arms.

This story follows Marie’s journey of healing, justice, and self discovery while being one of the hottest books I’ve read in a long time! Some of these scenes 🥵🥵🥵 OMG LEVEL SPICE!! I wanted to be the ground she walked on. Wanted to be the man she'd seen when she asked for help—strong enough to protect her, worthy enough to keep her safe. I wanted to prove that her desperate trust hadn't been misplaced, that I could be exactly what she needed even though I had no idea what that was yet.

I let her explore for exactly ten seconds. Let her think she had control; let her feel that this was hers to take at her own pace. Then I tightened my arm around her back, tilted her head with the hand at her cheek, and kissed her the way I'd been wanting to since she'd grabbed my shirt and asked for help.

I wanted to find him, climb into his arms, kiss him until I couldn't remember my own name.

"The girls down there are the ones who suffered. They're the ones who deserve to be saved and welcomed home. Not me."

"I need you quiet for a moment, darling," he instructed, voice low and steady. "I need you focused on something other than that voice in your head. So suck on my thumb and see how it makes you feel."

Tomorrow she'd see her father and start reclaiming her past. But her future? Her future was already decided. It was with me.

I took one stumbling step, and then he was across the space, closing the distance like nothing and no one else in the room existed. Kyan and Alastair might as well have been furniture for all the attention he gave them.

"No part of you is gross.” He guided my hands beneath me. "No part of you doesn't deserve my worship. Especially this blood that represents your healing. Your happiness, your body remembering how to be whole again after what was done to you."

Thank you to The Smuthood for providing me with an ARC. The opinions expressed are my own.

This is book 4 in The Undisputed series. The books can be read as standalones. I haven't read any of the prior books. This is a dark romance that takes place in the Caribbean. Marie is a native of the island. Marie is kidnapped and trafficked into prostitution. Despite all odds, Marie eventually escapes. Marie runs into wealthy business man Wade Easton. Wade is obsessed with Marie from the beginning. Marie is focused on rescuing the women she left behind. Wade is all too happy to handle that situation. It seems money can buy everything. I applaud Marie's commitment to herself and rescuing her girls.

I've read a lot of daddy and little girl kink. In this specific instance, it was weird because of what Marie went through. Especially icky to me was the oral fixation Wade uses to get Marie out of her head. It was just a little weird a woman sexually abused and exploited would jump right into bed with Wade and not have any issues. That didn't seem at all reasonable. There's a specific chapter that deals with sexual play during menstruation. Didn't get into that either. Wade's character was really OTT and had zero boundaries.

It's safe to assume Wade's family is just like him. I did like Wade and his family. I enjoyed that Wade doted on Marie and bought her anything she wanted. It warmed my heart that Marie was reunited with her dad and dog. I have to say, it was the sexual content and the way it was written that 100% turned me off. It was just too weird and unrealistic. If the sexual encounters were less controlling and icky, this book would've gotten a higher rating from me. I did like the characters. Wade was too much of a daddy Dom. It was like, realistically, Marie never got out of being forced into sexual work to survive. These are just my feelings and opinions. That's the joy of reading books. Not everyone perceives content the same way.

Undeniable Paradise by Renee Mo is a powerful and emotionally driven story that blends survival, healing, and love in a way that feels both intense and deeply personal. From the very beginning, the weight of Marie’s past is evident, and her journey toward reclaiming her life is what truly anchors the story.

Marie is a strong and resilient main character whose determination to protect others, even in her darkest moments, speaks volumes about her heart. Her strength is not just in survival, but in the way she continues to push forward despite everything she has endured. Watching her navigate freedom after years of captivity adds an emotional layer that keeps you invested in her growth.

Wade brings a steady and protective presence that contrasts well with Marie’s guarded nature. His desire to create safety and stability for her is clear, and their connection develops in a way that highlights both vulnerability and trust. Their relationship carries an emotional intensity that makes their bond feel meaningful and consuming.

One of the standout elements of this story is its representation of love that is bold and unapologetic, adding a refreshing layer to the romance. The themes of healing, protection, and found safety are woven throughout, creating a story that feels both heartfelt and gripping.

This lands at a 4 star rating because there are moments where the pacing slows and certain scenes feel drawn out, which can take away from the overall momentum. Additionally, some of Marie’s reactions, while understandable given her trauma, can feel repetitive and occasionally frustrating.

Even so, the emotional depth, strong themes, and compelling character journeys make this a memorable read. It is a story that highlights resilience, the power of connection, and the idea that healing can come from the most unexpected places.

Undeniable Paradise by Renaée Mo is one of those darker, emotionally intense romances that leans fully into possessive love, high-stakes loyalty, and morally gray characters who don’t do anything halfway.

As part of the Undisputed series, this book centers on Daddy Easton and Marie, and while details are more limited compared to earlier books, it carries the same signature tone the series is known for obsessive devotion, protective energy, and love that feels a little dangerous.

If you’ve read the earlier books, you already know the vibe: these men love hard, protect harder, and will absolutely burn the world down for the person they claim as theirs. And this story fits right into that energy. The romance isn’t soft or easy it’s intense, consuming, and built on power, control, and emotional vulnerability underneath it all.

What works here is the dynamic. There’s that push-and-pull between dominance and trust, control and surrender, which creates a relationship that feels both volatile and deeply connected. Marie isn’t just there to be protected she brings her own emotional weight to the story, which balances the intensity of Easton’s character.

Like the rest of the series, this is very much a dark, spicy romance meant for readers who enjoy:
Possessive, alpha heroes
Power dynamics (including “daddy” themes)
Morally gray choices
High emotional intensity over lighthearted fluff

What I loved:
Intense, all-consuming romance
Strong continuation of the series’ tone
Characters with depth beneath the dominance

Overall, this is a bold, steamy, and emotionally charged romance that stays true to what Renée Mo does best creating love stories that feel a little wild, a little messy, and completely consuming.

If you’re in your “touch her and you’re done” / obsessive hero era… this one will absolutely hit.

Undeniable Paradise is book 4 in The Undisputed series, but can be read as a standalone. This story, was not what I was expecting. But I was hooked by the end of chapter 1.
Marie is known for her tours and love of the ocean. But one day, when an important client cancels at the last minute and isn't able to make it, she agrees to meet with him at his estate with the promise of a few big clients to come. She is hesitant to go, as she doesn't like to leave her little paradise near the ocean, but once she gets there, she realizes it was a trap and is taken into captivity where she will be held for 5 yeas. She is forced to schedule the abuse of girls she learns to love and protect. But not even 5 years can hold her down. She sees an opportunity to make an escape and takes it, even though, she has to put her life on the line. But she takes her shot, and that's how she meets Wade. The man that will save her and make all her dreams come true. But will she be too broken to find a way to stay with him?
I love Wade. I don't mind an older man, age gap story, especially when the character is done right. Older, and more mature, he knows exactly how to care for Marie, but not just her. With is money and power, he can help them all.
My only con with this whole story is that I found some parts to be very repetitive. The same things being said in a different way literally within paragraphs of each other. Repetition drives me crazy and usually I end up dnf'ing for it. But honestly, the plot in this story was so captivating, I couldn't stop reading. I was hooked. Especially when Marie went in vengeance!! I loved that for her. Her character, while surviving something so dark and hard, is still so relatable with her love for her dog Honey and her favorite color being pink.
This was a great story and I definitely recommend giving it a read!!

4.5 Stars!!

This gave a new meaning to a daddy k!nk for me haha.
When I first heard of this book I knew I had to have it. Trauma healing, age gap, interracial romance and the fmc is a lover of pink! I was absolutely sold.

My sweet baby Marie went though a lot in this book. She was taken in her twenties and forced to work where harm came to her and the women she looked after. I admired her strength. She fought hard to keep herself and her girls safe. My heart broke for her a million times. I felt her all of her pain and just wanted to take it away.

Daddy Wade......sir I need you in my life haha. The way this man OBSESSED over Marie should be studied. I loved how he was towards her. Making sure she was taken care of in every way possible. I loved how he was the one making decisions and choices so that she could finally breath. Wade is the man that basically worked his life away not really knowing what he needed until she slammed into him. Wade and Marie saved one another.

I will say there were moments while reading where I felt like Marie was a tad bit child like but I realized thst because of her situation she had to be strong in many ways but was left alone for a lot of things. She had to grow up fast in certain situations but still remained some innocence in other ways.

What gets me is the way they needed each other. She needed to feel loved, protected and safe. Wade gave her that, gave her the courage and strength to heal. The way Wade needed her....it just touched my soul. They are beautiful together.

I need more of them in my life. I laughed, cried, needed water from certain scenes and threw a pillow while reading this book haha.

I loved them so much and I'm so happy their story was told because you get all the feels from them.

**SPOILERS**

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ (3/5) | Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ (4/5)

This book had a gripping premise and some genuinely intense moments…but it also left me conflicted.

Undeniable Paradise starts off strong with high-stakes suspense. Marie’s survival story alone is compelling...she endured five years in captivity, adapted to her environment, and carefully planned her escape. The opening sequence, especially her escape, was tense and well-executed, and I was immediately locked in.

The emotional weight of the story also stood out. The impact of what the girls went through, combined with Marie’s reunion with her father, added depth and made certain moments hit hard. The rescue mission and revenge elements kept the momentum going and added to the intensity of the plot.

Where the story struggled for me was in the romance. The pacing felt rushed given everything Marie had just endured. Moving from trauma and survival into a romantic and physical relationship so quickly didn’t fully land, and at times the dynamic between Marie and Wade felt uncomfortable rather than supportive.

Wade’s attraction and the more commanding aspects of the relationship didn’t always align with the context of Marie’s recent experiences, which made it difficult for me to fully invest in their connection. The balance between heavy emotional themes and intense romantic elements also felt uneven at times.

That said, the story itself is engaging, and I appreciated the focus on survival, resilience, and justice.

Overall, this is a suspenseful, emotionally heavy read with strong plot elements, but the romantic execution may not work for every reader.

Thank you to The Smuthood for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This was a tough one for me because there were definitely elements I enjoyed, but overall this just wasn’t the right fit.

The biggest issue for me was the pacing and some of the phrasing throughout the book. Something about the writing style kept pulling me out of the story, and a lot of the dialogue/internal thoughts felt a little clunky or overly on-the-nose. A big example of this was how often the age gap was explicitly mentioned. I understand this is an age gap romance and that dynamic is central to the story, but repeatedly spelling out that the MMC was exactly fifteen years older than the FMC felt unnecessary and a little awkward. There are so many ways to reinforce that dynamic more naturally.

This was also my first DD/LG romance, and I learned pretty quickly that this trope/dynamic is just not for me. I do think it was written clearly, and I could understand why those relationship dynamics worked for these particular characters, but personally I was uncomfortable with it pretty much the entire time.

That said, this wasn’t a total miss for me.

I actually really enjoyed the overall storyline and emotional stakes. The protective energy, touch her and die vibes, and “I will burn the world down to keep you warm” devotion absolutely worked for me. Wade was deeply obsessive, protective, and all-in, which I know will really work for the right reader.

I also found myself really intrigued by some of the side characters and the larger universe. Based on those glimpses alone, I definitely think Renée is probably an author I’d enjoy more in a different series or with different tropes. This just felt like the wrong entry point for me.

Overall - well-written for its target audience, just not a trope match for me.

Marie, torn from her life and broken after five years of captivity, found the strength to escape and meet Wade. Wade, structured and decisive, longed for love after witnessing his sons start families. Their paths crossed under difficult circumstances; she was fleeing her captors and her wounds. Wade saw her resilience and chose to support her, helping her heal and trust again. Marie endured much but proved her strength. As they built a relationship, Marie grew stronger, defending herself and embracing her power. Wade’s unwavering support made her transformation complete. Wade’s patience and care showed her worth. They’re meant to fit, and their love will grow. Together, they turned pain into strength, overcoming all obstacles.

Thoughts
I really liked how this book was written. It pulled me in right away, because I was so interested in the story. Marie was a character who truly fought for herself and others. The quick physical relationship after trafficking was hard to believe, though healing varies. I wanted a deeper, more meaningful connection between the characters. Repetitive details about Wade's age, their gap, and Marie’s healing became tiresome. Overall, a great read and I would recommend it.

Undeniable Paradise was such a great read from start to finish.

From the very beginning, I loved Marie. She’s strong, resilient, and completely unapologetic about who she is—even before the circumstances that bring her into Wade’s world. She’s the kind of FMC you root for instantly, and watching her journey unfold made this story even more impactful.

And finally getting Wade’s story? So worth the wait. I’ve loved all the characters in this series, but there’s something about Marie and Wade’s romance that really stands out. Their connection felt especially meaningful and stayed with me long after I finished.

Wade is incredibly caring and supportive, and I loved the way he shows up for Marie as she navigates her healing. He encourages her, believes in her, and helps her see that there’s still good in the world—without ever trying to control or overpower her. That balance made his character shine.

Marie’s growth throughout the story was one of my favorite parts. Watching her allow herself to be cared for, to heal, and to step fully into her strength was so rewarding. There’s a moment (you’ll know it when you read it 👀) that completely caught me off guard—in the best way—and really highlighted just how strong she is.

It was also so fun seeing familiar faces again. The entire Easton crew brings such a strong sense of loyalty and support, and I loved how they welcomed Marie and made her feel like family.

Undeniable Paradise is part of the Undisputed Series, and I definitely recommend checking out the full series if you haven’t already.

Thanks to author Renee and the Smuthood team for allowing me to read this gem early.

ARC Review — Thank you, The Sumtthood and Renee Mo, for the honor of an advanced reader’s copy.
Undeniable Paradise is such a cute romance with a side of trauma, and I mean that in the best way. I loved the extraordinary circumstances that bring Wade and Marie together. There’s something so compelling about a man who uses every resource at his disposal to protect not just the woman he’s falling for, but her friends as well. Their bond forms quickly but beautifully, and the way Wade makes Marie feel safe enough to begin healing from her experience was one of my favorite parts of the story.
Having said that, the timeline did give me pause. Marie was essentially trafficked for five years and falls in love within five days of being rescued. On one hand, you could read it as a testament to the intensity of their connection and the safe space Wade creates for her. On the other, it’s hard not to acknowledge how unrealistic that speed would be in real life. The immediate support from family and friends also felt a little farfetched. Most people would be wary of an older, more experienced man stepping into the life of someone who had just endured what Marie did. But that’s part of the love story lens this book chooses, and while it made me raise an eyebrow, it didn’t pull me out of the magic.
Because the magic is there. The romance is sweet, the love is intense, and the spicy moments between these two is super hot.
The ending sets up future stories for other characters, and I’ll definitely be continuing the series to see where Renee Mo takes them next.

this is honestly such a sweet book. wade easton is everything <3 and all i wanted the whole time was for marie to feel safe and secure, to recover in a soft place where she could rediscover who she was. marie is such a breath of fresh air as an FMC- she's smart and loyal and fights for the people she loves, and it's only right that she should have a love story in which someone else gets to fight for her too. this is the first book in this series i've read so now i want to take a look at the others! and the spinoff series should be really good too, i was so curious about kyan and allister.

couple qualms i have for those inclined, the only reasons i didn't give this a full 5 stars:
• lots of insta-love that moves very quickly, which i personally don't have an issue with except for the number it does on relationship development. sometimes marie and wade's relationship feels less than fully earned because of how fast it moves.
• i would've liked to see more of wade's personality and a little more of marie's recovery from her trauma, though i loveddd that she finished the story, as it were (avoiding spoilers here LMAO)
• things slow down significantly around the 65% mark, to the point where it feels like all the plot has already happened only for some of it to get dropped around the 85% mark. but between those points sometimes it's slow.

still, this was a great book, and im very much looking forward to anything and everything this author has to offer in the future!

I just love this authors story telling!

I beta read this months ago, and am so happy reading the completed version is just as good.

Although the “daddy” trope is not my absolute favorite, I love the way Wade Easton loves his girl, protects her from the get go, doesn’t stifle her, but keeps her wrapped in a bubble that she can move freely through. It’s a weird combination, but Wade provides safety and freedom for Marie, while she heals, becomes stronger and builds her confidence back.
I love that Wade is just so willing to go along with what Marie wants. You want a pink kayak? All yours darling. Paint my room pink? Go for it! Take out your braids and wear them natural? You’re beautiful no matter how your hair is.
He’s just so easy going when it comes to what she wants, but he also knows when to say, “I need to protect you, feed you, bathe you and make sure you’re taking care of your body and bodily functions.” He said, I’m going to take care of you and treat you like the queen you are.

I just love their romance!

Some things you’ll find in this book:
(Read at your own risk. Could be SPOILERS)
• Age gap
• Interracial relationship; he’s white, she’s black
• He’s her Daddy, she’s his darling
• Billionaire MMC
• Has a “damsel in distress” vibe, with an opinionated FMC
• TW’s for consistent mentions of SA (you don’t see anything on page)
• Bad men get unalived

There are more, but I wanted to get the main ones out of the way. I definitely recommend, though, so please read it!!

Thank you to Renée Mo and The Smuthood for the ARC.

This one completely hooked me in the beginning. The premise was intense and gripping, and I found myself flying through the first half. Marie’s story pulls you in right away, and I really appreciated her strength and resilience after everything she’s been through. Watching her fight to survive and hold onto that inner fire was one of the strongest parts of the book for me.

Wade’s character also added that protective, powerful presence, and I liked seeing how determined he was to help her and step in when she needed it most.

That said, the pacing started to lose me in the second half. It felt like the story shifted heavily toward the romance and spice, and I found myself wanting more focus on the emotional healing and overall plot development instead. The timeline felt a bit rushed considering everything Marie had gone through, which made it harder for me to fully connect to that part of the story.

There were also some moments that felt a bit repetitive in terms of dialogue and dynamics, which pulled me out at times.

Overall, I did enjoy the beginning and found the concept really compelling, but I think a better balance between plot and romance would have made this a stronger read for me.

Definitely check trigger warnings before going in.

Tropes / Vibes:

Dark romance
Age gap
Billionaire MMC
Rescue / protector MMC
Captive heroine / survival
Touch her and die
Alpha MMC
Fast-burn romance

This is a brand new author for me. And this is the fourth book in the Undisputed series. I did not know this when I chose this book. Since I didn’t read the previous books I was hesitant going in. Now at the beginning of the story I was confused about why Marie was willing to go with these strange men. This book is a very sad and disturbing story of a group of women who are kidnapped and held hostage in an underground resort where men pay to use their bodies. Marie is truly a remarkable character the things she does during captivity not just for herself but for the other women is simply amazing. Her planned escape was miraculous. She is fortunate enough to get rescued by Wade a very wealthy older man who has the means and man power to help her with her plight. Wade is an older man who has been alone for a long time and has seen his grown children have an family and find love. He’s starting to realize his occasional hookups aren’t satisfying him anymore and along comes Marie. I loved how patient and supportive he was with her. I liked that she really wanted to do things without his assistance. Being held captive would make anyone crave their independence. I did have some reservations with how soon she was willing to become intimate with him but I guess, five years with no affection or love is a long time. This is a very emotional book and I really wished I had read the other books first, but I definitely added them to my TBR.

I liked the premise of this one and the dynamic between Marie and Wade had a lot of potential. For the most part it was written well and I could see what the author was going for, especially with the protector vibe and the emotional weight behind Marie’s past.

That being said, everything moved a bit too quickly for me. From their first meeting to them getting together, it all felt rushed, and with a dynamic like theirs I would have preferred a slower build to really let it land.

Wade as a character worked for me in a lot of ways. I like how he cares for Marie and treats her as something precious without tryin to make her feel weak. There is a balance there that I appreciated, especially given what she has been through. His protectiveness never completely crossed into taking away her agency, which made their connection easier to root for.

Marie’s backstory is heavy and you can feel that in how she reacts to things. She is clearly strong and resilient, even when she does not fully see it herself. I just wish we had a bit more time to sit with her healing and growth rather than moving so quickly into the relationship.

Overall, I enjoyed the core idea and the characters, but the pacing held it back a little. With more time spent developing their relationship, this could have hit even harder.
