An intriguing polaroid caught my eye while browsing an antique store, and now, I’m surrounded by a sensory overload of acid wash, crimped side ponies, and neon everything that I assumed were Hollywood stereotypes. I have to figure out the rules real fast, or I’ll have no way back to the present.
When I come face to face with the handsome stranger from the polaroid, I realize my problems go further than figuring out the secrets of time travel. The man, in my time, disappeared under mysterious circumstances. As I’m pulled deeper into his world, I’m caught between solving a disappearance that hasn’t happened yet, navigating a relationship with my 18-year-old mother, and determining whether getting back to the present is even what I want anymore.

Love time travel stories
Pretty good but that better not be the end, I need the next book now please. I love books set in the 80s.

This book was SO fun! I love time travel and especially when it involves the 80s or 90s, so of course I needed to read this. I loved the writing style-engaging, easy to read and hard to put down.
I've been missing The Way Home on Hallmark Plus since it's been canceled and this was the perfect book to scratch the itch. I especially liked that just like the show, the daughter travels back in time to when the mom is a teen and gains a better understanding of her.
I figured out right away who hired Tiffany and who was responsible for taking Ben. So it was a little predictable but still fun.
I did think the storyline and dialogue around Ben's family was a little cheesy and wish it had been something other than that. I hope it doesn't become a main focus because that might make me lose interest in the series. But of course I'm still hoping for the best and can't wait for book 2.

It was enjoyable at first making me want to keep reading to figure out what happened however it seemed to me the ending was rushed. It wasn’t that long of a book definitely could have had a couple more chapters to have given it an appropriate ending
