Well, short, sweet and a bit ... meaty. This delicious short was so fun. Wade is becoming tired of his side hustle and is shocked when he's called to escort a fellow lawyer. Jo is beside herself with embarrassment when she sees Wade at her door.

Their mutual embarrassment quickly subsides when they realize they are a wonderful match.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a Gwyn McNamee book, which is crazy because she has a whole billionaire series I’ve been wanting to read that I still haven’t read, but yet I chose this one. It was short, sweet, definitely passionate, and to the point. It’s a novella, so of course it’s super short and I finished it within a few hours. What stopped me from giving this a full 5 is because even though I knew what I was getting myself into with the shortness and quickness I still felt like I could have read more of this story. I thought it was almost too abrupt but I blame this thinking on Wade. I could have done with some background on how he feels when he sees Josette in the courtroom, or even a set up scene to tell me about how he got onto Made to Order even though he does address both of these later on in the book. It would have lost that shock factor though when Josette realizes who her Made to Order date is. I guess I wanted more of a warning, or foreshadow. I felt like things caught me off guard in this book. It was a weird feeling but I didn’t expect the way this book played out. I liked and enjoyed the story but the way Wade’s feelings changed felt sudden. I get that in novellas you can’t really drag out the story or offer more insight regarding background history or emotions, you have to make things quick and to the point. I just wanted more time for Wade and Josette to get to know each other, maybe more pushback from seeing each other? More hesitation on their end? It just seemed too quick, and reading back to back continuation of their sex scenes felt oversaturated. It was hot and steamy at first but then I just felt numb and couldn’t get fully engrossed in it. I read a few things multiple times because of it. Overall, I gave this a 4 because I enjoyed the concept. The idea of falling for someone you pay to go on a date with was intriguing and I like what Gwyn did with it. Both Wade and Josette were likable and I was rooting for them. If there had been more details and a controlled set up, with less surprises then I would have totally given this a 5. The chemistry was good, interest was definitely there. I just wanted more from this book and a more thorough start of a relationship, maybe even the beginnings of a Made to Order series but that’s probably wishful thinking.

Serving Up Spice and Heart!

I really enjoyed this short addictive, sizzling little romance and honestly couldn’t put it down!

Made to Order pulled me in right away with Wade and Josette’s undeniable chemistry, but what really hooked me was how their connection grew into something deeper and more emotional.

Their lawyer banter and constant objection-worthy tension added such a fun spark to the story.

Josette was strong, ambitious, and easy to root for and I loved seeing someone finally recognize her worth.
And Wade…confident, protective, and completely determined to win her over from the start.
He knew exactly what he wanted and never stopped proving Josette deserved to be loved and put first.

Their chemistry, banter and power-couple energy made this such a fun and spicy read, but the softer moments gave it real heart.
For a shorter romance, it packed in plenty of heat, emotion and depth.

The author Gwyn McNamee delivers another steamy and emotional romance with characters you can’t help but root for.

If you love fake dating, possessive heroes, strong heroines and steamy stories with some emotional depth, this is definitely one to pick up!

It’s no surprise at this point that if Gwyn writes it I will eat it up with no crumbs. But with this one, as soon as I opened it up I could not put it down. It had me hooked from the very beginning and I didn’t want it to end. It’s a short read and I could easily have read at least 20 more chapters! I simply could not get enough of Josette & Wade! The banter was some of the best I’ve read, the plot was soooo good, and the spice and chemistry were top tier!
Made to Order has instantly became one of my favorite reads of the year! What can I say? A girl loves some filet mignon. 😉

Made to Order by Gwyn McNamee is a short story that definitely hooked me from the start and took less than an hour to read. It’s steamy and features two characters who are hard not to love.

In this story, the FMC, Josette, needs a date for her company party and follows her friend’s advice to use an escort service. Unexpectedly, she finds someone familiar at her door who becomes her date.

It’s written in first person and is dual pov, so both characters get to have their perspective, which I always enjoy reading. I just wish it were a full-length novel, so I could have more of these two characters together and also show how Josette puts the misogynists at her firm in their place because there is no doubt she deserves to be a partner.

Overall, an enjoyable read. I give it 4-stars and highly recommend it for anyone seeking a quick, engaging, and steamy story. This short story delivers memorable characters that have an instant connection and combustible chemistry together, making it well worth your time to read.

Josie wants to be made a partner at her firm however she finds herself being overlooked since she is a single woman. When her friend suggests she hire an escort she has her reservations and they only increase when she realizes her date also happens to be a colleague.

Wade is a lawyer who also works as an escort to help with his financial obligations. He has been attracted to Josie for a while but never pursued her however now that he is at her door that is about to change.

Fun and flirty what was supposed to be an arrangement I really enjoyed the connection between them and how one night was only the beginning.

Made to Order was such a fun, quick read that completely hit the spot.

I really enjoyed this book from start to finish. It’s a short, sweet instalust story that delivers exactly what it promises—chemistry, tension, and an easy flow that makes it hard to put down.
I loved that both main characters were strong, successful attorneys. It made their dynamic feel sharp, competitive, and really engaging in the best way.

Honestly, I enjoyed it so much I just wish it had been a full-length book so I could’ve stayed in their world longer.

I loved Josette and Wade. This is an amazing novella you can’t miss out on. Jo and Wade live similar lives with one exception, Wade has a side gig as an escort. When Jo needs to prove her stability to her executives her friend tells her about Made to Order and she bites the pulley and places her order never did she think Wade would show up at her door for their date. This is a short read of less than an hour, a definite must read. Their story has everything, sass, steam and instant love.

Wow, just wow! As a fan of Gwyn and all of her books this was certainly a disappointment. It was a waste of time because there really was no story! Not even a hint of a story. For someone who is such a fan it was hard to believe. Go back to the Hawke family books and stop wasting time on this junk.

It's a short but sweet (and spicy) love story that had me hooked from start to finish! What started out as a fake date with someone from an escort service quickly turns into more when Josette finally admits her feelings for Wade.

I was hooked from the first page of this story and loved watching the relationship between Wade and Josette come to be!
