A SCIENCE FICTION TIME TRAVEL MASTERPIECE WITH TWISTS AND TURNS THAT ARE MIND-BLOWING THROUGHOUT
5/03/26 Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐++
From one of my favorite authors comes a unique science fiction tale of time travel, suspense, mystery, and crime all rolled up in one great book that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first page to the last and when you come upon the last couple of characters you'll find yourself totally surprised what you thought was going on was not the case. With all the books that I have read written by S.A. Ison, and I have read all of them including a few of her romance books under the nom de plume Gabrijela Fouche. Everyone of those books were written in a voice that pulled you into the storyline, holding your interest throughout with well written characters and description of the world around, painting a portrait that brings the pages and characters to life right in front of you leaving you feel that you are right there in the story going through everything the characters are.
Things Not Regarded: Echoes of Reality is the first time that S.A. Ison has teamed up with Aoife Shkail as far as I know and together they have hit it out of the park with this book. Hopefully, we will see their combined works in the future. The characters are well developed and like I mentioned above you'll be amazed at how well you'll be drawn into the lives of Harold Bittacre, his wife Madge and their little neighborhood in the suburbs in 1958. This time-travel mystery will take you on a ride from prehistoric times to the year 2517 and just about everything in between. Traveling through time as well as different dimensions to worlds of Neanderthals, worlds or dimensions that people still burn others at the stakes believing their witches, to worlds where people are placed into stasis pods only to be brought out for manual labor.
I just don't have the words to tell you just how good this book is and how much you will enjoy reading it. Like mentioned above, she is one of my favorite authors and with each additional book I read just cements my option of her books. Once you read one, you'll want to read them all just like I have. I hope you will find yourself enjoying this book as well as the rest of her works as much as I have.
YOU'LL BE HOOKED JUST LIKE ME.
