A festive catch-up with familiar romance couples, holiday chaos, and little glimpses into their happily-ever-afters sounded like such a fun treat!

Deck the Heels : Cindy and Henry head to Los Angeles for Christmas with her family, but a rumour puts their relationship and future plans under the spotlight.

Beauty and the Baking Battle : Izzy and Beau take on a celebrity baking competition during the holidays, bringing festive fun, teamwork, and a little reality-TV drama.

Siren in the Snow : Eric has a special holiday proposal planned for Ariel, but a snowstorm threatens to throw his carefully arranged plans into chaos.

The Best (New Year’s) Day Ever & Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year : Ren and Fitz enjoy a holiday getaway and New Year’s celebration, while Mulan and Shang navigate a Lunar New Year party filled with family involvement and unexpected complications.

Overall, this was a cute, cosy collection with plenty of seasonal charm and sweet romantic moments. Some novellas stood out more than others, and I think knowing the original couples makes a real difference to the experience. Still, it was nice getting these little updates, even if not every story left the same impression.

A fun festive bonus for fans of the series!

I received a free copy of, Snow This Is Love, by Christina Lauren: Julie Murphy; Jasmine Guillory, Zoraida Cordova; and Jesse Q. Sutanto, from the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Five holidays in this book. I liked the first story the best, but I enjoyed the Vegas story too, Christmas in Vegas is magical. I love the Disney princesses and this was a nice way to keep there stories going.

If you’re like me and enjoyed The Meant to Be novels, Snow This is Love will make your heart happy. All of the original authors of the novels are back to give us updates on how life is going for the modern Disney princesses who served as the protagonists in the novels. Each story in the collection takes place during the holiday season and gives the reader a glimpse of how life is going after the “happily ever after” of each novel.
While the writers provide context for the couple at the center of each respective story, I think that those who have read the novels will get the most enjoyment out of this collection. Each story had its strengths, but my standouts were “Siren in the Snow” by Zoraida Córdova, which ties to the retelling of The Little Mermaid in Kiss the Girl, and “Best (New Year’s) Day Ever” by Christina Lauren, which ties to the retelling of Rapunzel in Tangled Up in You.
Some of the stories take place years after the end of their book while others jump ahead just a few months. Overall, the stories provide a cozy visit with these lovable characters and their modern-day Prince Charmings.

I really enjoyed this. These were just so cute. I haven’t read any of these books since they came out so I didn’t really remember some of the things that happened. So I do wish I had reread all the books before reading this. But I did have a good time. These were just cute Christmas reads.

Snow This is Love is a collection of short stories with characters from the Meant to Be series. Since I have only read two of the books in the series, not all of these short stories appealed to me.
Deck the Heels by Julie Murphy- a novella with the characters from If the Shoe Fits (Meant to Be: Book #1) Henry and Chrissy spend Christmas in L.A. with her family. I didn’t read this book so I was missing a lot of the backstory.
Beauty and the Baking Battle by Jasmine Guillory- a novella with characters from By the Book (Meant to Be: Book #2) Izzy and Beau participate in the reality tv show, The Amazing Baking Battle, during Christmas time. They work together with their fellow contestants to keep the show's wholesome image while an unscrupulous production team tries to wreck it. I think this one worked the best as a standalone for people who hadn't read the books.
"Siren in the Snow" by Zoraida Córdova- a novella with the characters from Kiss the Girl (Meant to Be: Book #3) Eric has the perfect engagement planned for Ariel but a blizzard gets in the way.
"The Best (New Year’s) Day Ever" by Christina Lauren - novella with characters from Tangled Up in You (Meant to Be: Book #4). Ren and Fitz go on vacation and return to her homestead for New Year’s Eve. I didn’t read this book so I did’t know the backstory of the characters.
"Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year" by Jesse Q. Sutanto - a novella with characters from Worth Fighting For (Meant to Be: Book #5). Mulan and her cousin Mushu plan a huge Lunar New Year Party for clients and a potential client. When clumsy Mulan trips into a family altar, their party plans start to go awry. Turns out it’s not bad luck- just Shang wanting to propose and the family getting involved without asking.

Snow This is Love by Julie Murphy, Jasmine Guillory, Zoraida Córdova, Christina Lauren, and Jesse Q. Sutanto is a delightful collection for anyone who loves holiday romance, festive settings, and heartwarming stories. I loved the cozy holiday atmosphere and the themes of love, connection, and unexpected possibilities. The stories capture the magic of the season and remind readers that sometimes the best things happen when we least expect them. Having multiple authors also made this collection a great choice for readers who enjoy discovering different voices and styles in one book. Overall, Snow This is Love was a charming pick for the holiday season, especially for fans of romance and feel-good fiction.

This collection of Christmas-time vignettes of the original Meant to Be novels picks up in current time of each publication. The stories are all separate from each other. While I enjoyed all the original novels, some of the vignettes didn't quite work for me. I would still recommed this seasonal book for Meant-to-Be fans. 3.5 rounded up to 4 stars.

I really wanted to love this collection. There are five holiday retellings from authors I generally enjoy, including Christina Lauren and Jesse Q. Sutanto, who are both authors I’ve had some really good reads from. Unfortunately, these stories mostly fell flat for me.

The collection takes familiar Disney stories and turns them into contemporary holiday romances. We get a Cinderella inspired story about a televised Christmas wedding, a Beauty and the Beast inspired baking competition, a Little Mermaid inspired Christmas proposal in the French Alps, a Tangled inspired New Year’s road trip, and a Mulan inspired Lunar New Year celebration. The concepts were cute, but for me, most of them felt like they were missing something.

Deck the Heels

Cindy makes a last minute trip to visit her family for Christmas and finds herself pulled into her stepmother’s plans to televise her wedding to Henry. When Henry starts acting strangely, Cindy begins wondering if getting married is actually a terrible idea. By the end, she reaches him at the altar and they decide to ditch the televised wedding and run off to get married on their own terms instead.

This one was cute, but it didn’t really leave much of an impression on me.

Beauty and the Baking Battle

Izzy and Beau are competing on a televised baking show, but they discover that the new producer is trying to manipulate the contestants into leaning into their dramatic reputations to create better television. Izzy figures out what is happening, and all of the contestants decide to work together so the producer can’t manufacture the drama and sabotage their competition.

I actually liked seeing all of the contestants come together to thwart the producer. It was probably one of the more fun concepts in the collection, and Beau proposing to Izzy during filming was sweet.

Siren in the Snow

Eric wants to propose to Ariel, so he brings her sisters and his bandmates to the French Alps to surprise her. Then a blizzard delays everyone’s plans, Eric loses the engagement ring, which happens to be a family heirloom, and he spends the story trying to get everything back on track.

This was sweet, but I honestly didn’t understand why we needed this story. It felt like a very long epilogue rather than a story that actually needed to be told.

Best (New Year’s) Day Ever

Ren and Edward take a quick trip after Christmas before they have to get home for New Year’s Eve. Their plans take them from New Orleans to Las Vegas and eventually California after a series of cancelled flights and travel problems. Ren gets to live out her dream of being a showgirl in Vegas, they visit a theme park in California, and then have to deal with another flight delay before finally making it home in time.

This was another sweet one, but there wasn’t really any conflict beyond whether they would make it home in time. I wasn’t particularly invested in whether they would make their flight because, well, there wasn’t much else at stake.

Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year

Mulan is hosting her first Lunar New Year celebration as CEO while also trying to convince a potential acquisition that she’s the right person to lead the company. Then all kinds of unexpected vendors and family members start showing up and turning the party into chaos.

Eventually, Mulan realizes that Shang was behind a lot of the surprise because he was planning to propose, and his aunties had been sending engagement gifts as part of the celebration.

Again, cute. But that’s really the word I keep coming back to with this whole collection: cute.

And unfortunately, cute wasn’t enough for me.

I think my biggest problem is that these stories didn’t have enough conflict to keep me invested. Most of them felt like extended holiday epilogues where the characters were already basically happy and we were just watching them have a cute adventure before getting their happily ever after.

I also think the Disney retelling aspect sounded more fun in theory than it actually was for me. I could see the connections to the original stories, but none of them really made me think, YES, this is why this needed to be a retelling.

It’s especially disappointing because I went into this expecting more from several of these authors. I really wanted to love it, but by the end I was mostly thinking that all five stories were perfectly pleasant and completely forgettable.

Thank you to Hyperion Avenue and NetGalley for providing this book.

Snow This is Love contains five Christmas themed short stories with updates on the original couples from the Meant To Be series. I enjoyed the original series and I was looking forward to this collection. The five stories are as follows:

•Deck the Heels by Julie Murphy

It’s three years later and Cindy and Henry are happy and in love and living in NYC. Cindy is a working shoe designer trying to further expand her brand. They decide to go to LA for the holidays to visit family, and a tabloid rumor follows them, causing them to reexamine the future of their relationship.

This story was cute and gave us a nice update on how Cindy and Henry are living their best lives.

•Beauty and the Baking Battle by Jasmine Guillory

Izzy and Beau have been in a long-distance relationship for a few years and they are spending their first Christmas together. They agree to compete on a reality television celebrity baking challenge for charity.

I thought this was a fun, low-stakes story update for these characters.

•Siren in the Snow by Zoraida Córdova

This story takes place about five years after Eric and Ariel got together. Eric has an elaborate holiday proposal all planned out for Ariel but a snowstorm is threatening to ruin everything.

I thought this was cute and gave us a nice update on the characters and a mildly dramatic situation to work through. This was probably my favorite.

•BeST (new Year’s) Day EVER by Christina Lauren

It’s nine months after the events of the original story and Edward and Ren are playing a holiday road trip.

Nothing much really happens in this story but it gives us a look at how they’re getting along after all the drama of the first story.

•Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year by Jesse Q. Sutanto

It’s Mulan’s first day as CEO after her father retired. Two years have passed since she and Shang became a couple and they’re still going strong. Mulan meets an important business prospect for lunch and invites her to the company Lunar New Year party. The prospect accepts the invitation and tells Mulan she better do well because it will be a test of Mulan’s ability as CEO.

This story started strong but went downhill from there.

Overall I think all of these stories were good but this book wasn’t really necessary. It was nice to see updates of the characters. I think this would be good for fans of the original series but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone that hasn’t read the original books.

Thank you to NetGalley and Hyperion Avenue for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

⭐ 3.5/5 stars

Snow This Is Love was a cute, Hallmark-esque holiday read, but ultimately one that I enjoyed more in concept than in execution.

I understand that these stories were intentionally short, but the individual vignettes felt a little too sitcom-ish for my taste. The drama was often exaggerated, the conflicts felt manufactured, and the resolutions were almost too convenient. So many situations could have been avoided with one normal conversation! Between the cheesy misunderstandings and the overall tone, I frequently felt like I was reading something geared toward a middle school or high school audience rather than the adult romances I’d come to expect from the Meant to Be series.

I’ve read three of the main Meant to Be novels, and even I found myself lost in some of the details. These stories seem to assume readers have not only read the original books but also retained every little detail about the characters and their relationships. It made some of the stories harder to settle into than I anticipated.

That said, I really appreciated the representation of different holidays and traditions throughout the collection, including Lunar New Year! It was a fun way to celebrate more than just Christmas, and the holiday atmosphere definitely delivered that cozy, Hallmark-movie feeling.

With five different authors contributing, I think achieving a cohesive reading experience was always going to be a challenge. The vignette format isn’t necessarily my favorite, though I understand the intention behind it.

As for the individual stories, Cinderella surprised me in a good way, Beauty and the Beast was sweet enough, Tangled felt a little strange, and The Little Mermaid was probably my favorite! By the time I reached Mulan, though, I was ready to wrap things up.

Overall, this was a charming idea with some genuinely cute moments, but the stories felt a little too brief, juvenile, and disconnected for me to fully fall in love with the collection. I can absolutely see the appeal for devoted fans of the series who want another little glimpse into these characters’ lives!

Thank you to the publisher for providing an advance copy in exchange for my honest review.

I did not realize that this was a collection of stories that continued the original collection of the Meant to Be Disney romances, but as I got into the first story I quickly realized what this was. Unfortunately, for me, these stories fell flat and were totally unnecessary to keep the books alive. In fact, for me, these stories kind of dragged down the originals. Despite the authors being strong and two being on my top read list, I walked away from this collection disappointed all around. The best story was maybe the Christina Lauren continuation, but that had more to do with the strength of writing and not the actual story itself.

I was quite happy with the way all of the books ended, and if we were to get any sort of follow up, I think that these could have been easily chopped in half and accomplished just as much. The Julie Murphy reality wedding was ok, but I found myself just wanting it to end. And the Ariel one with the lost ring was painful in the amount of ways in which Eric could mess up. This may be a spoiler, but if you are looking for something in a bag, then you check everything that was in the bag too and shake it. Geeze!

I had not read the Mulan book in this series - not sure why but I don't think I would have liked it so glad I didn't - and the way that the party unfolded there made me question everything about whether Mulan was indeed ready to run her family company. She was certainly not very good at pushing back and resolving issues ....

All in all, this would be a miss for me. If you read the books in the series, you can probably stop there because these stories may actually make you dislike the characters that you grew to adore in the books. I gave it a 2 star because they weren't all bad. They just weren't that strong either.

✨i was not prepared for how much i would love this ✨

📚 This was a CUTE collection of holiday novellas and I really enjoyed it! Each story was the perfect, bite sized, revisit to characters we already know and love. I was able to read each of them in their own sitting, which is my favorite! Reading the novel that comes before each of these stories is obviously ideal, that way you understand the references and characters a bit better. It’s not a full requirement, but it will make these short stories even better. I liked that each of these stories was closed door, it put the focus on the relationship and the holiday situation each couple found themselves in. Plus, being able to read a novella from five different authors in a single book is the perfect way to sample some new writers without having to commit to 250-350 pages.

🌟 If you’re looking for some holiday spirit with a disney retelling twist, then you’re going to want to check this one out when it publishes later this year!

This was such a cute, cozy collection of holiday romances! I loved that each story had its own personality while still keeping that warm, feel-good holiday atmosphere. The Disney-inspired retellings were such a fun touch, and I liked that the collection included different holidays and traditions instead of focusing only on Christmas.

One of my favorite things about romance anthologies is getting to experience several different couples and storylines in one book. There’s a little bit of everything here, from baking competitions and family drama to holiday mishaps and New Year’s Eve romance. Each story has its own kind of charm, so the collection doesn’t feel like you’re reading the same romance five times.

I also really liked the mix of familiar fairy-tale inspiration with modern situations. The stories feel playful and festive without needing to follow the original Disney movies exactly, which makes them fun even if you already know the stories they’re inspired by. The family chaos and holiday disasters also add some humor and make the romances feel more relatable.

Overall, this is such a good choice for anyone looking for something light, sweet, and festive. It has the perfect cozy holiday vibe, and I love that you can enjoy five different romances in one collection. This would be a great book to curl up with during the holiday season!

Such a sweet collection of short stories that I'm so glad I got to read.

Deck the Heels - I enjoyed the realistic portrayal of a relationship that's in a reality TV spotlight. It was fun to read about Cindy and Henry's turmoil about showing their story to the public while wanting to keep it to themselves.

Beauty and the Baking Battle - I absolutely loved this one, my only complaint being that I need the recipes for the delicious sounding cookies and bûche de Noël as soon as possible.

Siren in the Snow - Also a very sweet story that makes me want to take off and ski where the characters were. This was a cute and chaotic story of every obstacle you could imagine getting in the way of what should be a perfect proposal for beloved characters.

Best (New Year's) Day Ever - I loved this one because despite the exciting travels I wish I could take part of, it showed a realistic relationship that felt so cozy and warm and perfect indeed for the holidays.

Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year - A very funny story of a main character having to deal with hosting a perfect party but being met with curious mishaps. I loved Mulan and her cousin's bickering and seeing her learn to get through the chaos.

I was thrilled to get my hands on the collection of short stories from some of my favorite authors in Snow This is Love. I was unfamiliar with two of the five authors, but who can go wrong with authors who keep company with Christina Lauren and Jasmine Guillory?

Here’s the problem - each of these stories exists within the framework of prior books from the contributing authors. However, there was no mention of this in the promotion. It is important to know this going in. *I see that’s this IS mentioned in the blurb in Goodreads, but it was nowhere in the ARC.

For instance, the opening story keeps referencing a scandalous reality tv show outcome involving the main characters and is apparently key to the current story but is never explained. So what could have been a nice reconnection with favorite characters ended up being a story seemingly crafted around a very thin thread.
None of these stories worked as a stand alone piece. Even the stories with main characters that I was familiar with didn’t offer enough by way of plot to recommend the book.

This compilation was a miss for me. Thanks to NetGalley and Hyperion Avenue for the ARC.

As a fan of the Meant to Be series, but a bunch of awesome romance writers, I was so excited to see that they were all coming back again to write their own happy endings to their stories. More of the happily ever after stuff. Snow This is Love, is a new compilation of short stories to follow along your favorite fairy tale princesses. Cinderella, Bell, Ariel, Rapunzel, and Mulan. Each got their own modern glow up, each by a different author. But in Snow This is Love, we get tiny snippets of what happens next. I wanted to LOVE this book, because in theory what is not to love. I also wanted a lot of Christmas feels, which I did not get. All 5 stories are told are the winter holidays, Christmas, NYE, and Lunar New Year. I liked the variety there. I liked the book and I liked the concept, but I think I was looking for a bit more. Which makes sense since it was 5 short stories, There is only so much detail and action that you can put into a short story. But If you read the Meant to Be series, this is a cute addition to add to you TBR. Thank you NetGalley and thank you Christina Lauren; Julie Murphy; Jasmine Guillory; Zoraida Córdova; and Jesse Q. Thank you NetGalley, Hyperion Avenue, Christina Lauren, Julie Murphy, Jasmine Guillory, Zoraida Córdova, and Jesse Sutanto for this cozy ARC. I wish I had known from the beginning that these were all characters from books that have already been published. This is basically a collection of novellas that take place during the holidays for each duo. Each Novella, referenced events, activities, and even people that didn’t seem clearly flushed out in these stories. Had I known ahead of time, I might have read the other books first before reading these holiday novellas. Each story was cute on its own, but you could tell that something was missing. The first two stories about a former bachelor-style show and the other about a baking competition were my favorites. All of these felt a bit too much like impossible Hallmark and Lifetime movies where the characters always seem to have an unlimited budget and life is too perfect. I was hoping to order this for our high school library, but it is definitely geared more towards adults

I have really enjoyed the whole Meant To Be series and looked forward to each book every year. When I heard there would be a Christmas Meant Be book with short stories about every couple, I was so excited! I must say, it felt really nice to drop in on every princess to find out what they’ve been doing.

The characters I was most excited to visit (Kiss the Girl and If The Shoe Fits characters) were actually the shorts I ended up being less interested in. The holiday stories for the characters of By the Book and Worth Fighting For were my favorite! Every story takes us through holiday hijinks which give us a delightful view into how these characters relationships are going. It’s sweet and fun and a nice ending to the series. (Unless maybe there will be more??? Here’s hoping!!!)

** My rating is actually 3.5 but this platform does not allow for that rating so I had round down.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Hyperion Avenue for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Snow This Is Love is a sweet, lighthearted holiday collection that brings together romance and the Disney inspired storytelling from Meant to Be series. Each author offers a different take on love during the holiday season, creating a mix of romantic tropes, humor, and festive moments. Thank you NetGalley for my eARC!

I enjoyed the variety of settings and holiday traditions represented throughout the collection. As with many anthologies, some stories may resonate more than others, and the shorter format leaves limited room for character development. Still, the overall concept is charming, and the familiar fairy-tale inspiration adds a nostalgic touch. My favorites were the stories by Zoraida Córdova, Jesse Q. Sutano, and Christina Lauren. This is an enjoyable option for readers looking for something cozy, romantic, and easy to pick up during the holiday season. Fans of contemporary romance, Disney retellings, and seasonal love stories will likely find something to enjoy in one of the short stories.

Having read all of the Meant to Be Series except for #5, I was extremely excited for another look at these amazing characters. Add in that they are holiday novellas, and this is perfection!

Even though this is a collection of all 5 stories, since they are all written by different authors, I felt like they all needed their own rating. I feel this mirrored how I rated the original series as well.
Deck the Heels by Julie Murphy: 3 stars
Beauty and the Baking Battle by Jasmine Guillory: 5 stars
Siren in the Snow by Zoraida Córdova: 5 stars
The Best (New Year’s) Day Ever by Christina Lauren: 5 stars
Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year by Jesse Q. Sutanto: 4 stars

3.5/5 stars!

This is a collection of novellas that continue the stories in the series of fairy tale reimaginings, Meant to Be. First we have Cindy and Henry with a tv wedding in Deck the Heels, then Izzy and Beau in a holiday baking challenge in Beauty and the Baking Battle, next is Eric and Ariel with a surprise proposal and lost ring in Siren in the Snow, then in Best New Years Day Ever is Ren and Edward on a whirlwind trip, and finally in Dreaming of a Perfect Lunar New Year is Milan and Shang dealing with a cursed Lunar New Year party.

Overall I liked the novellas. It was lovely to get a peek at what the characters are up to during the holidays and revisit their fairy tales. If someone has not read the original Meant To Be collection, however, they would be missing important context.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the eARC!

Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for the opportunity to review the ARC of this book.

3 stars

Well, as other reviewers have said, it was not clear from the description of this book on Netgalley that this collection of short stories / novellas is basically a continuation of previously published full-length books. Technically they can be read as standalones I suppose, but as someone who read them that way, it’s not a great reading experience. Novellas are already tough to get a good feel on the characters and story and in this case, it was worse than normal. I did not really feel the connection or chemistry between any of the couples in the stories; I didn’t feel any excitement about returning to this book each day. I hope that other readers who have a better understanding of the backstories will enjoy it more than I did.

This short story collection is a continuation of the Meant to Be series, and each story is authored by a different writer (Zoraida Cordova, Christina Lauren, Julie Murphy, Jasmine Guillory, and Jesse Q. Sutanto).

I particularly enjoyed “Siren in the Snow,” which connects to Zoraida Cordova’s Kiss the Girl featuring Ariel and Eric on a winter adventure with lost luggage and a pending proposal. I haven’t read Kiss the Girl, but it was easy to follow along with the story. Ariel is still “the girl who has everything,” and Prince Eric wants to give her a special Christmas gift, but he runs into several obstacles along the way.

I like how each writer reimagined our beloved Disney princesses and modernized their stories. Snow This is Love is a fun read, perfect for the holiday season. Thank you to NetGalley and Hyperion Avenue for an ARC of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

To start out, I really love some of these talented authors on their own. I even enjoyed the Meant to Be Series and did read them all. But these stories just all fell flat. It was really a struggle to get through all of them. The first one might have been the best but even then I wasn't that invested in the story. They felt disjointed from their original books and unnecessarily long with scripted drama. Honestly the original books were great on their own and I felt like they all ended in a natural way. The story lines here felt a bit silly and too forced and I just didn't feel connected to any of the characters or the storylines. It was a good idea after a fun series but the execution just didn't happen to put me in any sort of holiday or romance mood. Thank you to NetGalley for this ARC.

I loved the original books in the Meant to Be series and was so exited to get a copy of this.
This is a collection of five short stories told during the Christmas Holidays with updates from the original five stories. I loved being back in each of their worlds. These novellas are very cute and perfect to read during the holiday season. You can very easily finish one story in a sitting. I do feel like you wouldn't enjoy this if you haven't read the original books.
I really hope there are more books in this series as I very much enjoy the Disney retellings.
Thank you to Hyperion Avenue, Christina Lauren; Julie Murphy; Jasmine Guillory; Zoraida Córdova; Jesse Q. Sutanto, and NetGalley for the advanced copy in exchange for my honest review.

Snow This is Love is a collection of stories from the Meant To Be series. I had read a couple of those books, but not all of them. I didn't know these stories would be a continuation of each book from the series. I really loved the stories from the books I read! It's always nice to revisit characters and get more of their stories. All 5 stories were so cozy and perfect for Christmas reading. I do suggest you read the 5 books in the series before reading this book because I was lost in some of the stories. That said, I still enjoyed reading them all!

This is such a cute and fun collection of stories. These stories just genuinely warm my heart. They made the world a little bit better place to be when I was reading them. I adore all of the authors that wrote these stories. These stories take place during the holiday season which made them even better. These stories are about the characters in the Meant to Be series. You can definitely jump into these stories but they are better enjoyed if you have read that series. These stories were just cozy and fun, well written and perfect for the holiday season. I received this advanced reading copy from Hyperion Avenue and NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

ARC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.

These stories are continuations of the meant to be series by popular authors based on Disney princesses. I found them enjoyable, though not my favorites from the authors. I am not sure if this is because of the restrictions due to the prescribed characters and storyline. . Definitely helped to know the premise of each story and how they ended in the previous books.

Cute short story collection for the 5 books in the Meant to Be collection. If you didn’t read those books, you probably wont appreciate these. The stories are centered around winter holidays. You get glances of what happens next in the stories, but nothing too deep and everything is pretty saccharin. Read if you’ve been following the series. Otherwise, pass.

Thank you, Hyperion Avenue, for providing this book for review consideration through NetGalley. All opinions expressed are solely my own.

I received an advanced copy at a book event for Christina Lauren when Lauren Billings handed it to me herself. I’m forever grateful for that experience.

I did read all of the Meant to Be books so I went into this knowing all of the back stories. Even as someone who read them though, I’d forgotten a lot and therefore can see how it would be confusing for someone to only read these. Just like the standalone books, some of these were a miss for me and others I liked. I enjoyed the Ariel and Ren (Rapunzel) stories the best.

Overall, it’s a fun little read for the holidays.
