Great Story

Such a wonderful book-beautifully written second chance love story! I love books that have mature characters that fall in love! Definitely worth a look!

Sometimes you get to read a book that is special. I just connected with the story. There are always times when we lose contact with friends. And this story deals with how that separation can effect our outlook on life and how we deal with that. Cat and Erin were best friends in high school. Cat moved away and contact was lost. Abigail deals with how that shaped their life going forward. Cat gave up control and Erin lost trust in people. I felt deeply both of their experiences. Abigail's writing is just so realistic and just pulled me into their lives. I felt like they were friends and I was invested in their wellbeing. That is talent. I really hated for the book to end. I did love the humorous fun parts. Also the spicy parts are hot like only Abigail can do. I am sure you will enjoy Before We Knew as much as I do.

unexpected smash hit

I went into this with no expectations, simply desperate for something new to read. The moment Cat was introduced I was hooked, could not put this down for anything. The chemistry between these two was off the charts. This ticked all my boxes for perfect cozy read. A new author for me, one I will certainly be keeping my eyes peeled for. Gave me Haley Cass vibes. I feel I need to re-read immediately.

Not bad. It's a quick read, it has some parts that feel like filler, but overall it was fine. It's not a book I'd read again.
