Thank you, Christine Kersey for this realistic novel about life after the wedding and honeymoon. These four books show the progression Lily went through from the scary life with an abusive husband to finding a man who was truly in love with her. Without giving the plot away be prepared that Marcus and Lily face some stressful challenges to their belief in each other. The characters are true to what Keresy has drawn them to be. The storyline is robust, realistic, yet hopeful.
Marcus really angered me throughout this whole thing. Him and his mother. His attitude toward Lily, his controlling-ness. I felt it was very narcissistic. I actually wanted to stop reading but won't let myself DNF a book so I pushed through. But I was not a fan of this book and thought the series could have really went without it, even if it does show true struggles of relationships.
This series is great reading. Would make a great TV program if Hollywood would honor the authors version. The themes are heartbreaking, dangerous, and exciting. I cried several times and rejoiced at the end. Highly recommended! Thank you for using Kindle unlimited.
I fully enjoyed this series. Lilly has a good outlook on life and her trials make me grateful for what I have. Anyone could benefit from and enjoy reading this series.
The final story in a four book series about Lily, a woman whose life takes a number of strange twists and turns and whose heart is pulled in many directions before it is all over. She is also very young and perhaps I am most bothered by her reluctance to grow and mature. She exhibits amazing strength in difficult circumstances, and then seems to relapse into immaturity at odd times. And yet, perhaps she is more like all of us at times. Stress, indeed severe stress, does thrown many of us back to the primal level of reaction and it may be that this is the lesson this author is advancing. It is a fine read and I would recommend that readers avail themselves of the entire series.
I have enjoyed the three others books about Kilts life. She faces some challenges in each one but amazing comes through a stronger person. I have read all of Christine Kersey's books you can't go wrong on reading any of then
I've read all of Lily's stories. They are absolutely amazing. Her story is amazing. I really hope that Christine Kersey keeps going with Lily's life. If you haven't read it, I strongly suggest it.
