Short little book set within the new rpg setting for the Iron Kingdoms, Unleashed. In the game, you play the monsters, the things that go bump in the night. In fact you are pretty brutal and dangerous, even to your companions. In the book, the unlikely heroes are Longchops, a Gatorman Hunter, and Lurk, a Bog Trog Shaman, basically a spellcaster. A terrible and immense threat endangers a small fishing village, way out in the murk and marsh. With no alternatives, the villagers seek help. They send runners to nearby settlements and also seek out the two beastmen, who passed nearby their village recently. A Human Hunter also is called in to help. After all, a Hunter is only as good as his last boastful kill, yes? Very short and entertaining, these small ebooks from Privateer Press are just good. Fun to read if you play the miniatures game or play the roleplaying game. Just good fluff for the setting and well written.
