For someone cautiously contemplating a career in Personal Training, this book is an excellent #1, about what’s really going on primer. The author started as a Personal Trainer, and has now moved beyond to Training Personal Trainers. His advice is from real life experience as a Trainer as opposed to an opinion about “what’s it really about” in the world of Personal Training. A great overview of the business, and an awesome resource book to re-read again, if you are that person thinking about dedicating your life to helping other’s in their quest of achieving and optimizing health through strengthening others bodies & changing their lifestyles.

Succinct and accessible in the style of writing, this book is short and snappy - aimed at answering questions someone might have who is thinking of working in the fitness industry, or someone who is new in the field. Jonathan Goodman, of the PTDC, is a no nonsense chap and his approach is up front and clear. A good pocket guide, and with lots of links and practical resources to get started right away.

To the point

Very informative and a quick read. Jon talks about saving time which I am a strong advocate of. I literally read the whole book before I went to bed. Great rapid fire sources of information with additional supplemental links.

Znatno iznad mojih očekivanja. U fitnes industriji sam preko 10 godina i mislio sam da nema knjige koja može u ovoj meri da mi bude korisna. Najbolja preporuka za fitnes trenere

Quite a bit of salesmanship, but solid advice nonetheless.

I think it's worth a read of you are interested in the topic of training, how personal training works, or are think about getting into the competitive and over-crowded fitness business.
