Vow to Protect: Healing Hearts book 3

Rohan
Life has a cruel way of rewriting destinies.

The most reckless man can be forced into becoming a protector.

After my grandfather’s death, I was left with nothing but a hollow ache and a guilt that refused to loosen its grip. I was drowning—until he found me. My saviour. My second chance at breathing again.

But happiness, I learned, is never meant to stay.

What began as a fragile light quickly turned into a storm I couldn’t escape. And suddenly, I had only one purpose—
to protect something precious that belonged to him.

Something… or someone.

But fate is never kind to those who dare to hope.

Because the very thing I was sworn to protect was chaos in disguise—
a magnet for danger, trouble trailing behind like a shadow.

And worse…
my heart betrayed me.

It was drawn to that chaos, irresistibly, like it had always belonged there.
Like it was never meant to be saved.

I came for the professor-next-door romance and stayed for Rohan Singhania.

This book has everything I love: a chaotic heroine, a fiercely protective hero, slow-burn chemistry, emotional healing, and moments that made me smile, laugh, and feel all at once.

Shagun is a force of nature, and watching Rohan slowly go from protecting her out of responsibility to caring for her with his whole heart was beautiful.

Sweet, emotional, and impossible to put down, Vow to Protect is another heartfelt addition to the Healing Heart series.

Rohan Singhania, you have my heart. 🖤📖✨

This book kicked off with a very dramatic and vivid scene which left me questioning, "wait what? This is the prologue? " And that drama and suspense and dangerous elements were throughout the book which just made the plot more layered rather than a simple romance story.
Ahh Rohan and Shagun, cuties, they have my heart. I always say, I love when the FMC is fierce ,smart, independent and doesn't take anyone's shit, and that's Shagun for you so I fell in love with her (literally) instantly.
The banter was bantering between them, the suspense was suspensing.I devoured this book in a very short time which should feel illegal but it was THAT GOOD! I just couldn't stop reading, the way the author describes her characters, situations it just speaks to you and makes it easy for you to read.
I have so many favorite moments, like the one where Rohan sees Shagun fighting in a boxing match or where he sees her riding her bike or when she plays pranks with him or their first meet as neighbours and the next day meeting each other at a completely unpredicted setting.
I knew something was being kept from us, there are secrets between the characters but I could not guess how the story would unfold and I like when a book has that because if you can see where the story is going, you won't enjoy the plot.
The way Rohan is shown in this book, ahh having read the second book, it felt really comforting in a way to witness the character growth .Also when the whole gang was together, my heart literally melted. This book is a true wholesome read.

After thoroughly enjoying Book 1 and Book 2 of the Healing Hearts series, I went into Vow to Protect with high expectations, and I’m so happy to say that it delivered everything I was hoping for. One of the things I love most about this series is how each book brings its own romance while still carrying the emotional warmth and heartfelt storytelling that ties the series together.

This third installment beautifully balances romance, trust, healing, and protective love. The chemistry between the lead characters feels natural, and watching their relationship grow through moments of vulnerability and strength makes the story incredibly engaging. Keerti Sandeep’s writing is easy to sink into, making it one of those books you keep saying “just one more chapter” until you’ve reached the end.

If you enjoy contemporary romance with emotionally rich characters, found-family vibes, and protective heroes, this series is definitely for you. Readers who love books by Lucy Score, Elsie Silver, or Devney Perry will likely appreciate the same blend of heartfelt romance, emotional depth, and satisfying character arcs found here.

Having read all three books, I can honestly say Vow to Protect lives up to the standard set by the first two. It’s a warm, emotional, and utterly satisfying conclusion that reminds you why you fell in love with the Healing Hearts series in the first place.

It is a beautiful and emotional romance that speaks straight to the heart. It is the kind of book that begins with pain, carries the weight of loss, and slowly turns into a story of healing, trust, and love.

Rohan is not perfect. He is broken, guilty, and full of emotional wounds, but that is exactly what makes his journey so touching. As the story moves forward, you will see how love changes him and how he becomes someone who wants to protect the woman who enters his life.

One of the strongest things about this book is the feeling it creates. It has danger, secrets, and a little suspense, but it never loses its emotional core.

The bond between the characters feels deep and meaningful, and the story gives that warm feeling of finding comfort in the middle of chaos.

Another beautiful highlight is the emotional connection to a father’s love and sacrifice, which adds even more depth to the story. That makes the book more than just a romance; it becomes a story about care, protection, and the people we hold closest to our hearts.

Overall, this is a touching and satisfying read for anyone who loves simple but powerful romance. It has emotion, intensity, and a protective-love vibe that makes it hard to put down. This is one of those books that can stay with you long after you finish it.

The author does a wonderful job of balancing romance, emotion, family bonds, and suspense, making it impossible to put the book down.

The chemistry between the lead characters is beautifully written, and I loved how their relationship developed naturally through trust, understanding, and unwavering support. The emotional scenes were heartfelt, and the lighter moments added the perfect balance. The supporting characters also played an important role and made the story feel even more engaging. I loved the father daughter bond especially.

Great work Keerti!

The author did it again by keeping suspense element just like the other two books of the series and it's an engaging book seeing the redemption of Rohan. I personally liked Shagun's character and the way she carried herself. Those who liked the first 2 books of the series are definitely going to like this.

Vow to Protect by Keerti Sandeep

I never thought that I needed this character as a separate story, and it is easily the best in the series. I finished this in two hour. God, how much I have missed reading romance lately!

The story follows Rohan and Shagun. Rohan was a bad guy, but life humbled him when his grandfather passed away. He was helped by a kind man and learned how to truly live his life, and in return, he made a vow to protect someone dear to his uncle. Shagun is a bold and free bird who loves to enjoy her life.

The writing hooked me until the very end, and I was completely immersed. When the OG gang came back, I felt so nostalgic; we all have those best kinds of moments with our friends, right? The way the author portrayed a love story with a sense of reality is what made me love it so much. I will definitely say go pick this up if you love romance!
