wow. the culmination of cons, hidden identities, and epic love stories has come to an end!! this was the most action packed and i was glued to every page! finally getting everyone’s pov was insane and gave such good insight into these characters- this is so reminiscent of the addicted series by their characterization and if you’re looking for something that feels familiar to those beloved characters, this is like con artist addicted/calloway sisters AU!!

thank you to netgalley and berkley for the arc!

The final book. Bittersweet. 💜

The final con for these characters. It’s been a wild ride and this continued that wild ride in a great way. I would say this book is a bit spicier than the others with more themes of bisexuality. Also, there are scenes of attempted SA and violence so keep that in mind.

Several exciting twists for this last book. I don’t want to give any plot points away, so there’s no real way to say any details about this book without giving major spoilers. Keep in mind these books must be read in order, this is not a series to pick up mid-way through.

This book was very long so that’s the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars as my personal preference would have been to break this up into 2 books as sooo much goes on.

The ending was great and I am so happy with the way it ended. 💜

Thank you to netgalley for this free advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Oh… what tangled webs we weave! It didn’t take me long to pick right back up in the ‘Webs We Weave’ series. I was worried I would forget some of the things that had happened since it had been a minute, but thankfully, I did not.

I loved getting the perspective of so many of the characters in this book. It really helped explain everything, plus see what they were feeling from their perspective. It felt like there were five main characters- Phoebe, Rocky, Hailey, Jake, and Oliver. Plus, there was Nova and Trevor; we just didn’t get their stories in the same way.

This one is hard to review because I don’t want to spoil anything from the previous books, but I feel fully satisfied by the ending for this con-artist family. I loved not only the romances in this book, but the camaraderie between family- both biological and found. I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it again: Krista and Becca write the best found family troupe.

This series was fun, but it was also emotional and kept me on the edge of my seat. I’m so glad I read it!

The webs we weave. Oh, the webs we weave . . . when we come together to deceive. An old Tinrock-Graves motto. Our history. One we’re keeping and remaking.

✦ ݁˖ my thoughts:

My heart is a beaten up, bruised muscle inside my chest. I feel like I lived 10 lives while reading this book! It was a rollercoaster - an anxiety ridden ride that had me screaming “what the hell is going on?” every five seconds. I came so close to ripping my hair out or throwing my kindle out the window during some scenes. The Ritchie sisters came armed with the big guns, set to annihilate my well being and, honestly, I wouldn’t have had it any other way! I truly adored every single second I spent reading this book. I want to feel everything while I’m reading a book - MORE, I want to feel like I’m not even reading a book and that’s what happened with Dangerously Ours. I was fully immersed in the story and it was so hard to put the book down. I wanted to devour it.

I loved the way the plot unfolded in this book! It was done so well and I loved seeing everyone in action. The con the characters pulled was definitely the biggest, most dangerous con they’ve ever been involved in; especially because, in the midst of all the lies, there was so much truth in it. Real feelings were involved, the stakes were super high and they all had so much to lose this time. This book truly felt like the most honest and raw in the trilogy. It pulled the curtain off and revealed all the truth that was hidden in these characters lies. And it was so painful at times!! Phoebe, Rocky, Hailey, Oliver, Nova and Trevor all went through so much. Their whole lives were built on a web of lies. And, in this book, they’re finally brushing off the cobwebs and walking towards building a life where they’re free to be honest and real.

The multiple pov’s were an amazing addition! I think they enriched the story, made it feel more realistic and the sense of found family grew, because we really get to see how much they all love each other and the lengths they’ll all cross to make sure everyone is safe and protected. I don’t want to give spoilers, so I won’t talk about the characters in depth, but I genuinely loved everyone so much in this book. It was amazing to see how much they all grew since the first book and they seemed so much more mature to me.

The romance was absolutely delicious and, again, not saying much because of spoilers, but the main romance in this book had me giggling and kicking my feet in the air and I could talk about it for hours, because it gave me life!

I can’t finish this review without mentioning the found family. Nobody writes this trope like the Ritchie sisters do. They make the characters feel so alive and their bonds are almost palpable. I can feel the love between everyone. It’s all in the little details - in the small moments that show that these people are tied together for life. That they’ll do anything for each other. That each other’s safety and happiness is all that matters. The different dynamics between the characters were so well written, but I have to say that I have a soft spot for Hailey and Phoebe.

My beautiful family of misfits will live in my heart forever and I’m so sad to be saying goodbye. I had the best time reading this book and I’m very satisfied with how things ended. Nothing like sweet sweet revenge being served on a beautiful platter. And I swear my heart grew ten sizes reading the final chapter because seeing them all so happy made me happy. I only want the best for them. I went through great deals of pain and suffering reading this book and I’m sure my blood pressure rose many times but I’d do it all again. Thank you Ritchie sisters for gifting the world with your amazing stories and characters. Pretty please, give me bonus content for this trilogy. I beg of you!

✦ ݁˖ quotes:

Nothing about Hailey added up in my mind, and I liked it. I liked that she just didn’t make sense to me right away. I liked that I had to keep contemplating her.

We’ve spent our childhood and adolescence working together. Being paired on jobs. We’ve pretended to be everything anyone could ever be to someone. It might seem like we’re toxic fumes. Like we can’t possibly make us work out, but all we’ve ever done is pull each other through the fires we’ve set.

There is no end without us together. I can’t even remember a beginning without Phoebe Graves.

My heart bleeds all over Hailey. She’s the only one who’s ever had all of me, the real me, in my entirety.

But here, in this town, he’s just my Rocky. I’m just his Phoebe. And our relationship has never been so real.

“We were taught deceit is the most powerful tool, but the truth hasn’t made me feel weak.” He looks me over. “What do you feel?” “Indestructible. Loving you loudly might become my new favorite obsession.”

I won’t tire seeing them together. It’s time-capsuled love. Old love. And Oliver is right, it doesn’t rust. It’s made to endure through harsh climates. So the fairy tales and icicle dreams can’t melt in the winter. My love is new. Born into the magic of summer. Made to reach December. The two, I believe, coexist naturally.

“What’s in your heart of lies?” I whisper. “No lies,” she whispers, her voice shaking with the powerful rapture I feel. “My heart only holds the truth.”

The truth still finds a way to overwhelm me, even in the smallest of moments in the quirkiest of towns. I can’t think of a better life than this one we all made together. Honestly.

What do you mean it’s time to say goodbye to my favorite merry band of criminals? I live in Victoria, permanently. I know these characters love to live a life of lies and deceit, but honestly, truly, this was the most satisfying, perfect conclusion to the Webs We Weave series. I love these characters like my family, and I’ll be happy to revisit them in the quirky seaside small town they want to call home!

The Plot:
I can't get too detailed about the plot, but if you’ve read Destructively Mine, you know there were several loose threads that needed tying up in this book. This book jumps right into the thick of it and wastes no time. Phoebe and Hailey are determined to preserve their dream of a Mystic Pizza life in Victoria, but they will have to fight for it. They will have to complete the biggest con they’ve ever committed, and against a highly skilled con artist. It will take everything they have to get their happy endings.

All the main characters have their roles to play in the con. The silver-tongue, the seductress, the chameleon, the getaway, the mastermind, the psychopath, and the king. The events in the last book made them stop to think about what it meant to step into these roles and embrace the labels. But as they fight for a steady and safe future, Dangerously Ours makes them examine if these are roles they should carry into a new life. It’s such a fascinating character analysis especially because we get to be in the heads of five characters in this book (Phoebe, Rocky, Hailey, Jake, and Oliver)!

The POVs
I love that we get the addition of Hailey, Jake, and Oliver’s perspectives in this book! This is definitely an ensemble cast of characters and I loved getting more insight into what was going on with all the different characters. As is evident in every Krista & Becca novel, each character’s life is moving forward and has their own story to tell. This book allows us to focus on the journey Hailey, Jake, and Oliver take a lot more which just gives the characters so much more depth. And getting to see Rocky and Phoebe from the perspective of friends and siblings is also just so fun. We’ve spent two books getting to know how they see each other, I like being able to see how the others view them.

The Villains
And while the main cast of characters are waging emotional mental battles internally, there are actual devious villains that they need to defeat as well. I remember writing in my Dishonestly Yours review that the villains of that book were some of the most evil characters Krista & Becca have written. Oh. Was I so wrong. It’s very obvious who the villains on the board are at the end of Destructively Mine, and they are truly the most vile characters Krista & Becca have created. They make it very easy to hate these characters, and root for their demise.

The Romances (!!):
Phoebe and Rocky’s romance
Just because Phoebe and Rocky are finally together doesn’t mean their relationship is any less angsty or heart wrenching. They’ve been so many things to each other, played the roles of friends, of boyfriend and girlfriend, of husband and wife. But they’ve never been truly themselves in a relationship and it’s something they have to learn to navigate in this book. One of my favorite things to read about is couples making a relationship work beyond just deciding to be together. There are compromises to be made, and despite the fact that they have known each other for so long, there is a lot they continue to learn about each other. And in between the beautiful, tender soft moments are plenty of fiery, volcanic moments that we’ve come to know and love about Phoebe and Rocky.

Hailey’s romance
We learned quite a bit about who holds Hailey’s heart in Destructively Mine, but it still left a lot of questions, especially with the very big secret she’s carrying. I won’t spoil how her romance plays out (just know there is a happy ending for her!) I will say, I could see hints and teases of how Hailey’s romance would play out from the first two books in the series, and I wasn’t at all surprised, just incredibly giddy to have gotten the vibes right.

The Platonic Bonds:
One of the things Krista & Becca write so well is the found family trope. This book absolutely continues to deliver those vibes and with it comes the platonic relationships between all these characters. Phoebe and Hailey and their love for each other kicked off this entire journey. Their love never wanes but it does evolve in this book and it made me tear up reading the scenes with them together. They are true ride or dies, they will forever have each other’s back in every different chapter of their lives.

And on top of Phoebe and Hailey’s deep friendship, we get to explore the dynamics between the guys, which I thoroughly enjoy. I think one of my favorites is the friendship between Rocky and Jake. These two have come so far from the animosity they held for each other in the first book. The evolution of their relationship is so complex and very much rooted in their pasts, and it makes that much more powerful and impactful to read.

All this to say…
This book delivered on everything I hoped and dreamed that it would. I loved it for delivering some of the most beautiful love stories, not just between partners but between friends and siblings, this tight knit band of heathens. I wish I could spend twenty more books learning about these characters. I will never get enough of the angst, the tension, the banter, the romance that came from this series. If you need me, I'll be in Victoria, CT forever spending time with these grifters that stole my heart!

Thank you KB for an early copy of this book! All thoughts and opinions are my own

I’m saying goodbye to my chaotic, emotionally unstable, trauma-bonded, “it’s us against the world” family. I didn’t even realize how attached I was to them.

Okay… the emotional whiplash in this book was insane.

Everyone needed intensive therapy, eight hours of sleep, and a long crying session in the shower 😅

Especially Rocky staying that strong and not completely falling apart was a miracle. For him, protecting his family mattered more than protecting himself.

Phoebe and Rocky were definitely my favorite couple. Their love was unbelievably intense and feral. Every conversation between them felt like it could end in either murder or sex.

Hailey was such an interesting character: anxious, messy, insanely intelligent, emotionally fragile, yet still trying to hold her family together.

Oliver was Hailey’s comfort person. Whenever she started losing her grip on reality, he became her anchor; he grounded her and kept her balanced. He was dangerously attractive, intense, funny, but also someone carrying a strong self-destructive streak.

Jake, on the other hand, was calmer, more careful, and attentive. He was the safe-haven in the relationship. The dynamic between the three of them seemed surprising at first, but they were genuinely hilarious together.

And honestly… the ending felt earned.

For them, it was never about being perfect people or simply surviving. It was about still being able to choose each other and learn how to love despite all the damage they carried. That’s why this ending suited them so perfectly.

I’m really going to miss this disaster family🥹

Love triangles where they all hook up >

Also felt a special sort of sympathy for my boy Rocky, as he navigated being the last surviving Wolfe, imagining what his bio family was like. I didn’t expect it to hit that hard but something about the image of Rocky looking up at the portraits of the other Wolfes while he stands there alone makes my heart clench.

Still in disbelief I'm never gonna see these characters again.

Dangerously Ours picks up where book 2 ends and we're right back in the thick of it with the Graves and Tinrocks. After several bombshells were dropped on the characters in the previous book, the gang finds themselves trying to pull off the most important con they've ever devised. There's really not much I can say about the plot without spoiling, but just like the previous books in the series you can expect angst, deception, and of course romance.

This book is unique because we get to follow two romances this time around. Not only do we continue seeing Phoebe's romance with Rocky, but we also get Hailey's romance as well. Prepare yourselves, Hailey's romance had me giggling and kicking my feet.

Like all of Krista & Becca's books it's the characters that make this book so special. No matter who your favorite is, every single character gets their moment to shine. You'll find everything from cosmic romances, to gut-wrenching familial relationships, to bromances. Rocky and Phoebe's chemistry still leaps off the pages, Phoebe and Hailey continue to have the purest friendship, and the found family aspect keeps hitting. Jake Waterford I'm your biggest fan, never change.

The ending gives these characters a perfect send off. I managed to fall more in love with every single character and I already miss them so much. Goodbye Victoria, Connecticut, maybe we'll see you again someday.

Firstly THANKYOUTHANKYOU Krista and Becca Ritchie, Netgally, and Berkley for this ARC!!

I have officially read the final book in the Webs we weave series and I’m ugly crying! This book was absolutely phenomenal! The most perfect ending for them!! This whole trilogy is a roller coaster of emotions but it is so worth it! All of the povs were written to perfection! Getting a glimpse of almost everyone was the best move ever! I thought it would be a little over whelming but it was quite the opposite! Getting different perspectives of certain scenes just made everything 10x better! I can’t believe it’s over. Definitely a MUST READ trilogy!! See you all in May in Victoria! 🍓🕷️❤️‍🩹✨

I’m sad to DNF this as I really enjoyed the first two books but there was a few scenes in the beginning of this that made me super uncomfortable - and based on reviews I fear it would have continued through out the book. I also read 240
Pages and nothing had moved along with the plot. I can’t invest an additional 300 pages into this - so skipping the last book

this book (and the whole series) keeps you on the edge of your seat!!! the first two books had me living for the angst between phoebe and rocky, two people who are so perfect for each other but can't be together, and i love them even more now!!! i will say i really enjoyed getting the other povs and getting an inside look into a different relationship (not saying who bc -spoilers-) it was HOT and i'm obsessed with them.

iconic series & what a great ending!!!!!

the epilogue was actually so precious it's not even funny. i love this crew 🥹

Wow! 5 Stars for all 5 POVs!
What an amazing way to end a series!

Rocky and Phoebe still had such a steamy, hot relationship that just made me giddy. I loved the tropes Krista & Becca incorporated into their story so much. I will miss these two, but am so happy they got their HEA.

Hailey story was so enthralling to me. I kept wondering what was going to be the solution. And I can say this is my favorite way for a “love triangle” to end!

The epilogue really wrapped this up so nice with a pretty bow. It just makes my heart happy seeing how they all are with the current child(ren?) in their lives! It really shows how they’ve chosen their futures and made them happen… and now will protect it at any cost!

I have so many more notes on this but don’t want to give anything away. Just know this book was another Krista and Becca Ritchie smash!

Thank you Valentine pr for the arc & Berkeley via NetGalley

This was an honour to be chosen to read this book.
The cover is perfect - the book imo absolute perfection. It was a true honour to be chosen to arc read for the finale of the webs we weave series .

Can I be honest ? I love this but if people don’t I could understand why. It’s a perfect trilogy end imo . I love Phoebe & Rocky . I love that we got Hailey , Oliver’s & Jake’s POVs ( they were needed & made this finale book even better ) .

But I can see why some people may be disappointed by this book even if I was not but tbh with kbr I’m a very easy to please person. i’ll basically read everything Kbr writes atp . I also knew from the first chapter that this book would be absolute perfection in my eyes - especially after reading so many mid books recently .

I love the cameo ( well the mentions) of two of my fave addicted series characters ( one of which being one I talk about alot ) . The mentions were so funny - especially the second one - that had me laughing for like 5 minutes straight and now it’s forever ingrained in my mind as one of the funniest things from the Kbr universe .

This book was funny it was loveable - it felt like coming home again . Kbr to me and their new releases seem to hit the way the Calloway sisters series books do. I love this . Truly I only first picked up this series last year and devoured the first two in one weekend . The way I fell for Phoebe & Rocky - and wanted to find out more about Hailey . To me the kbr universe as a whole is my home . It’s my safe space its comforting

technically theres the accidentally pregnancy trope in it ( with Hailey ) - not spoiler . But It’s not done the way most books do it - and that’s because this book is more so a found family book it focuses on all the characters . ( equally ) . This book is also kbr’s first real poly like book . With Hailey , Oliver & Jake technically being in a throuple .

I love Rocky so much ( he feels like Loren and Connor mixed in one with a sprinkle of Ryke ) and I love this .
Phoebe has always felt like a rose Calloway like character - not quite her but similar in some ways .
Hailey - gives a mixture of Lily & Daisy. Jake ( idk who I can compare him to tbh ) Oliver - is well I personally can’t compare him to any addicted character other than the fact he give Loren hale vibes but not in the way that Rocky does .

One thing I love about this series is Phoebe , Rocky and Jake are bi !! - and Oliver has his queer awakening in this book ( which I love to see ) . — Kbr do like adding queer MCs / characters to their books - from Connor in addictedcalloway , to timo in ( in the circus is family series ). Farrow , moffy , Kinney , Jack & Oscar in the like us ) and tom in the cobalt empire . It’s something I do always love to see .

I like to see this series as for some reason addicted series in an alternate universe only because so many characters in the webs we weave remind me of the addicted Calloway characters I love and adore so deeply.

Truly I think this book series should get a tv show it needs one in fact . I mean these books( all 3) feel like made for tv and I love that . I need to see this on tv ( but not via amazon )

I do need to say this I did not expect to fall in love with these con artists when I first picked up dishonestly yours ( last year in 2025) but I did so deeply . The emotions I feel for Rocky , Phoebe ( especially ) but also Hailey and Oliver too . IMO no one can compare to the writing for kbr ( I am very biased tho) - when it comes to making me fall so deeply in love with characters.

This book made me cry towards the end because I didn’t want to say goodbye and I’m sad I have. Truly though I love these characters and I’d honestly willingly read 3 more books about them. But I’ve said goodbye and it hurts but at the same time I’m happy Ive seen these characters get a happy ending - the ending they deserve. Even if I did cry when I read the acknowledgements

Actual Rating: 2.5

Goodbye to my chaotic, morally gray found family. I loved how insane and ride-or-die they all were until the very end, although plot-wise I admit this book turned out to be my least favorite.

There’s something about the first book that still feels so memorable to me, from the emotional and sexual tension between Phoebe and Rocky, to the stress of keeping their identities secret from the community and running from their parents, to the mystery of the group trying to figure out where they all came from. I feel like some of that was lost along the way, and was more intrigued by their parents as antagonists than Varrick or Trent.

Character-wise, Phoebe and Rocky were still the standouts for me despite their little screentime. I just love how far they’re willing to go for each other and their other loved ones. This book actually focused a lot more on Hailey though, and I think she always shone brightest in emotional scenes, like when she was questioning her origins or realizing how much she cared for someone. But I’ve personally never been a huge fan of pregnancy plots so I was kind of disappointed that this book focused so much on one, as opposed to character dynamics. I didn’t really care much for the love triangle either — for me, Jake was the most interesting when it came to his relationship with his family.

Even though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the direction this ended up going, the writing has been easy to read from the start, and it does wrap everything up nicely. The epilogue is very sweet and I’m happy to see our little group of misfits get their happy ending.

Dangerously Ours was one of my most anticipated reads of the year, and Krista and Becca Ritchie absolutely delivered the perfect conclusion to this trilogy.

I adored the first two books, Dishonestly Yours and Destructively Mine, so I went into this with very high expectations, and for the most part, it completely lived up to them. The story picks up right where book two leaves off, so I won’t say too much about the plot to avoid spoilers, but this series follows two groups of siblings raised by con artist parents who have spent their lives swindling the rich and constantly moving from place to place. Across the trilogy, they’re all trying to escape the life they were born into while figuring out who they really want to be.

The first two books made me completely fall in love with Phoebe and Rocky. Rocky is genuinely one of my favourite book boyfriends ever, protective, loyal, brilliant, and just everything I wanted him to be. I also loved Phoebe’s character arc throughout the series.

This book shifts the focus more towards Hailey, while still giving us moments from Rocky and Phoebe’s perspectives. Hailey probably isn’t my favourite character in the trilogy, but I still really enjoyed following her journey, especially the romantic storyline and seeing how everything unfolded for her.

I will admit the main plot lost me slightly towards the end, but overall I still had such a good time reading this. Even though it’s not my favourite of the three books, it was still an excellent and satisfying ending to the trilogy as a whole.

If you enjoy angsty romance, family dynamics, morally grey characters, found family, and con artist storylines, I’d absolutely recommend this entire series.

I’m so sad this series is over but this book wrapped it up perfectly!

We pick up right where we left off and get to see so many more points of views this time around. Seeing all of theme juggle their problems together is always my favorite part.

The found family, complex characters and love stories are truly top tier. I loved seeing all the characters grow through the three books. Phoebe and Rocky will always have my heart <3 I can’t recommend this series enough.

Thank you NetGalley, Krista and Becca Ritchie and Valentine PR for the arc.

The most perfect, satisfying, and heart racing conclusion to one of my all time favorite series!!!! I am so sad to be saying goodbye to the Tinrock’s and Graves’, and the small town of Victoria that I have grown to love right alongside them! Dangerously Ours is action packed from the very first page, and the thrills don’t let up until the very end! I was absolutely glued to this book from start to finish!!

The characters in this book are truly some of the most unique and interesting that I have ever had the pleasure of reading!! The Seductress, Silver Tongue, Mastermind, Chameleon, Getaway, Psychopath, and The King (Phoebe, Rocky, Hailey, Oliver, Nova, Trevor, and Jake) are all so so near and dear to my heart, and watching them grow far beyond the monikers that they created for themselves and evolving into so much more than they could have ever thought possible truly makes me so emotional!!!

Krista and Becca spoiled us in this book by including THREE new POV’s!!! In addition to Phoebe and Rocky, we also get chapters from Hailey, Oliver, and Jake’s POV which adds SO MUCH additional context and insight to the story!! All of these characters have such distinct voices and perspectives, and being able to experience this story through so many sets of eyes made this book even more special and memorable.

Phoebe and Rocky have grown and changed so much over the course of this series. Arriving at this point in their relationship where they are finally together for real has been a long time coming! Throughout the course of the book, we watch as they learn to navigate life together, and uncover what living an honest life means for the two of them. Phoebe and Rocky are the absolute definition of soulmates and know each other better than anyone. Their romance continues to be absolutely electric, while also allowing for vulnerability and space for them to have serious conversations about what the future looks like for them as a couple.

And Hailey’s romance!!!!! We had been teased in the first two books about who Hailey might end up with, and after a huge bombshell was dropped at the end of Destructively Mine, I couldn’t wait to see what was in store next for our Mastermind!! I definitely was hoping and rooting for a certain outcome, and I am beyond pleased to say that I got exactly the ending that I was hoping for!!!! Watching this romance play out had me so so giddy, and was by far one of my favorite parts of the book!!

Saying goodbye to these characters is so incredibly bittersweet. The friendships, sibling relationships, and romances all came together to create the most beautiful found family!! I was sobbing throughout the entirety of the epilogue!!! The journey that this series takes you on is a wild one, and remains one of the most unique and memorable I have ever had the pleasure of reading. This conclusion delivered everything I could have possibly hoped for and more!!

Thank you SO MUCH to Berkley, Krista & Becca Ritchie, and Netgalley for this ARC!!!

4 stars. It's been SO LONG since I finished and book and immediately wrote my review. But my bestie is asleep so I'll write this like I'm telling her... Which I am. Firstly I finished this so fast. That last 100 pages. 30 mins. UM. ha. Anywho. I have MANY things to say about this. Hailey. The start opening after the end of the last one with the hallucination. I know understand this was the sleep deprivation. However I thought we were going somewhere with this. Like her mental health... We didn't go anywhere with it... So Lucy predicted before about the baby. This whole book was baby obsessed. Which okay. But you know what else Lucy also predicted.... Poly relationship. Which only once I finished did I realise that this series is traditionally published. That's not really the done thing in the stuffy trad world! Also Phoebe and Rocky not wanting kids, that's out there for traditional audiences. Now for me. Knowing KBR... I know this sounds crazy but it felt short! The actual epilogue type end. I had to reread to make sure Hailey, Jake and Oliver were actually all together as a thruple. Because, just me or was that almost brushed over?! After being one of the major plotlines. I feel like we could have had more with the end. And also. Spicy scenes. I feel like the last one had so many more. I can't even think of Phoebe and Rocky having a spice scene. I guess because the arc was in the last book and this book was more Hailey...? But also. I guess again a trad thing but surely once we knew all 3 of them liked the other 2 sexually, there should have been a spice scene showing that dynamic. It was mentioned a few times. But not shown. And also! We just decided to KILL Varrick?! that's the way we dealt with him. We turned to murderers? And now Trevors just fine after being the physchopath one?? I don't know. I just felt like I needed more. But also. I don't love these characters. They're not soul characters to me. I don't particularly care that deeply for them if I'm brutally honest. I still love KBR. And I will read ANYTHING they give me. Also fun fact. I got this on Sunday in CAMBRIDGE. All that fuss for this book. And I stayed up to finish too. I did like the multi povs, I see why. And it was an assemble cast, I get it. And we stick with Phoebe and Rockys povs as we've had them as our leads and to be their the main characters but it just felt unnecessary with them in this book as their arc was essentially over after book 2. They became side characters in their own series. I think because of the rewrites KBR did in book 2. I think this series maybe lost its way I hate to say. Also the cons in this book. They were just long plays. Hardly the grifting lifestyle. Not even really past flashbacks. This almost felt like straight up a spinoff rather than the same series.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.

Final Book / Final Level: Boss / Twist, Turns, Secrets

I will admit that the beginning of this book is very slow. The reason it is slow, however, and why didn’t dock it points on my rating, is because it is reminding you about the important parts of the story of the things that were left last time. So it’s a very important part of the book. From like 35% on you are on a roller coaster of what’s gonna happen? Who is everyone? And trying to guess what’s gonna happen next. I didn’t realize till I was the last 75% of this book, when it was getting wild, that this is the last book in the series. That made me sad and I continue to be sad because now it’s over.

I love the way that the other characters from the addicted series had many moments of acknowledgement in the book. I love when authors intertwine their series with little bits of information to remind you that these two book series, though written further apart in time, are actually occurring in the same timeline in fictional world.

This book was so chaotic. There were so many moments where I thought I knew it was happening, but then something else would happen. And I would be totally caught off guard. I love the way the book ended. It felt right, it felt true to what these characters deserve. I also appreciate the deeper conversations that we had in this book: the questioning of queerness, reflecting on past relationships as potentially abusive, being happy without children, and the power of friendship and family. I will be forever sad that the series is over. I personally think it’s super unique in concept and storytelling. You get to have a variety of perspectives from all the characters to understand their side of the story. The grifter story line is something I have very rarely see and also includes very robust plot lines. I will forever miss this rag tag group of misfits.

Thank you so much for the publishers for giving me early electronic copy of this book. I cannot wait for the rest of the world to read it.

Review of advance copy received from Netgalley

first I want to say thank you KBR & NetGalley for the chance at arc!!

"oh, the webs we weave...when we come together to deceive."
strap in because this is going to be a long one.

Once again, Krista & Becca Ritchie have written a book I'll never get over. The plot? Perfection. The characters? Obsessed. The MULTIPLE povs? To die for. I couldn't put this book down. It was the perfect ending to the series!

There are so many things I could say about Dangerously Ours. I had never read a con-artist series before Webs We Weave! It was such an interesting plot to read. I loved the ins and outs of how the Grave and the Tinrocks went through life. It was so crazy to watch them step into new names and new shoes depending on the situation. It was like magic or something!

Phoebe and Rocky were amazing! I love them so much. The tension, the banter, the bond was just so good. They were a perfect mix of "i seriously hate you (no I don't)". It was so good to see them slowly fall more and more in love through each book. They found each other through everything & nothing could tear them apart.

The found family in this book literally was everything. The way all of them stuck together through everything thrown their way <3 I love how they brought Jake into their family. He was something all of them needed in their new home.

I literally had a mini freak out (a good one) when I realized this book would have multiple povs, especially Hailey's pov. I still think Kbr is in my walls when they write some of their characters because there was just too many things I related to with Hailey. It was so sweet to watch how Oliver & Jake came together to love her. The three of them fit PERFECTLY. They matched each other in the way the three of them needed.

*a small mention of the fact a special appearance of the Core 6 being mentioned had me jaw dropped*

The twists and turns of this book had me so captivated I was literally reading at work. The connection they all had to each other, the trust, and the family was so heartwarming to see. The ending was so bittersweet! I'm so happy to see the happy ending but so sad because...it ended. The story is over. The city of Victoria has no idea they have protectors looking over them. A group of con-artists who found a true home.

"And so, there once was a
silver-tongue
a seductress
a getaway
a chameleon
a mastermind
a psychopath
and a king."

*ARC* thank you netgalley <3

It feels so bittersweet writing this review, knowing Dangerously Ours is the last book of the Webs We Weave series..
it was such an honour being a part of this universe and reading about my comfort characters. 💗

As always, Krista and Becca Ritchie did it again. They always write the best found family trope and they have a way of writing tropes that matter the most to me, perfectly and it’s so so comforting.

This series was a rollercoaster of emotions but in the best way. It was action packed, very well written (duh, with KBR, it always is 💁🏼‍♀️) it was also frustrating at times because I hate seeing my favourite characters going through sh*t 😭 I felt so connected to them all and I could feel the way they felt and I think it made the reading even more special.
I love when I can put myself in the characters when I read books and put myself into the universe im reading. I can see through them, and all I want to do is hug them all.

ALSO the Lily and Connor mention?!?!? I kept kicking my feet and giggling because I’ll never have enough of my comfort characters of all time. The Addicted series owns a special place in my heart, I always love seeing them mentioned absolutely everywhere <3
I also flipping loved Oliver et Jake (iykyk 😉) I loved every Jake, Oliver and Hailey scene SO MUCH!

KBR have a perfect way of writing my favourite tropes and especially the found family trope. I always feel like im in a bubble of comfort when I read their books, it’s like coming back to something that matter the most to you.

In the end, I’ll always come back to them 🫂❤️

I finally finished *Dangerously Ours* and I genuinely don’t even know where to begin because I’m still emotionally processing everything this book put me through. This story was chaos, heartbreak, healing, tension, trauma, love, and found family all wrapped into one addictive read that completely consumed me.

One of my favorite parts had to be the Oliver, Hailey, and Jake love triangle. Every interaction had me hooked!
The tension, the emotions, those moments were easily some of the highlights of the entire book for me. I lived for every scene involving them.

But what really stayed with me was how layered all the characters felt. Rocky and Phoebe absolutely shattered my heart. Their moments carried so much pain and vulnerability, and the way their trauma shaped them felt so raw and real. Honestly, this book was filled with broken characters trying to survive, heal, and love despite everything they’ve been through, and that emotional weight is what made the story hit so hard.

Every relationship in this book added something special to the story and made the world feel alive and messy and emotional in the best possible way.

By the end, I wasn’t ready to let go of any of them. My biggest takeaway after finishing this book is simple: I need more. More of this world, more of these characters, and especially more Nova because I am nowhere near done with his story.

5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

this series. it’s absolutely unmatched. from the plot to the characters, so much about this book had me hooked from the beginning.
as the finale of the series, book 3 was the culmination of everything these characters have worked towards from the beginning. phoebe & rocky are my END GAME. these two have been through it all and to see their HEA made me overjoyed. for years, these two had to hide behind their cons and to be able to love loudly? it’s everything.
something I was NOT expecting was the oliver, hailey, jake dynamic. a secret baby? always leaves room for drama & maybe 2 boyfriends?
overall, i would recommend this series AGAIN and AGAIN. it’s unlike anything i’ve read so far- the con artist plot, the multiple perspectives and romances. it’s bittersweet because i’m so sad it’s over but also so glad i had the chance to visit victoria, connecticut as an early reader.
thank you, @authorkbritchie for your art piece of a series. i already want to do a reread.

How is it already the end of this series! These three books have been a wild suspenseful ride and I have enjoyed every second of it. I loved how different it was from what we normally get from Krista & Becca. The suspense and everything these characters get up to will have you on the edge of your seat and just wanting more from the very beginning of book one! I am so happy we got all of the characters povs in this book. It was nice to see all of their perspectives and explain more in depth on all of their relationships. The found family in this series has been amazing and the twins never disappoint when it comes to that trope. The series was a good time and if you are looking for something with suspense, con artists, a group of friends, small town and much more these 3 books are for you!
