Regret Has A Name 2: The Price Of Broken Trust

Rate this book
Zaire Jacobs thought walking away from his past would be the hardest thing he’d ever have to do—but nothing could prepare him for the war waiting at home. As Hope Williamson’s pregnancy forces questions neither of them are ready to answer, doubt begins to poison the love they fought so hard to build. Unable to face the possibility that everything he’s built could be a lie, Zaire makes a devastating choice—seeking comfort in Cara Baker, the very woman who has always stood on the other side of their pain.
Left to pick up the pieces, Hope refuses to break, determined to protect her children at all costs—even if it means doing it alone. But just as she begins to accept life without Zaire, someone new steps in, offering her the stability and love she’s been denied.
When Blake Hall resurfaces with a hidden agenda and old wounds are ripped wide open, lines are drawn and loyalty is tested. This time, love may not be enough to save them—and Zaire will have to face the truth that some choices don’t just cost you everything… they replace you.

Overall good book, I was very disappointed on the MMC he had so many flaws in Book one, but he seemed to have a good heart and wanted to be better… however in my book two he was not redeemable to me, he did way to much to HOPE… and it seemed like he only went back because of Cara yelling at his son, instead and realizing he wanted to be with Hope … which makes me feel like he put her second, I also feel like he didn’t even try to win her back… and Hope apologized after she ONLY went to dinner with another man…. Yeah no. I feel like Hope needs a whole new love interest.

The book held my attention from start to end… lower stars because I didn’t want the characters to be together at the end of the book.
