Pick up with Sashimi as he has finally made friends! They are engaging in a game of D&D and he needs to perfect his role playing game. When his nemesis, Jeb, gives him an opportunity to switch places for a day, Sashimi embarks on the ultimate role playing opportunity.
My family enjoyed this book overall, as it does have a good message at the end, and it leads into helping Sashimi solve his ultimate question of who am I? But as a parent and teacher I'm ultimately concerned about the content that kids cannot read beyond. There is bullying, corruption, and prejudice. If an adult does not explain or have discussion, some kids are not going to see/understand why the actions/words are NOT okay. So hand this to your reader with caution or the understanding that you should discuss.
Thanks NetGalley and Macmillan Children's Publishing Group for an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review.
