I think the title on this book needs an adjustment. It should read: "Healthy Helpings: 800 Fast(if you're not reading the recipes that require overnight marinade) and Fabulous Recipes etc..."
This book had a lot of tasty recipes that I enjoyed making...when I scheduled making them in advance and actually marinated the food the night before. When I first tried to use this book, I was in college. Not a good idea. A lot of the ingredients are weird and they don't exactly fit in a dorm room kitchen. Now that I'm older and wiser though, I know where to find most of this stuff. If you like to plan your meals ahead (like we're all supposed to), than this book is great. If you're looking for something to throw together real quick... look elsewhere. The recipes are tasty, and fairly easy to throw together. I had the marinade problem with several of the chicken recipes I tried to make, then gave up on. The other recipes were no problem and were quick and simple as the title suggests.

Basically, what I'm saying is, read ALL the instructions before planning for a recipe. It's not just about ingredients! Other than that, the food was tasty and the book full of great recipes!
