😶🌫️😒 EMOTIONAL ROLLER-COASTER 🎢
I was cheering one minute and snatching my edges the next! I spent the whole time holding tight to my reader pillow, sitting in total disbelief that she left me on another cliffhanger! 😤😫

Another Cliffhanger?!!
Look I respect the need to get your bag. The more books in the series the more money. But this is just………. wow. I stopped reading so that I could read them back to back. Good story from what I read. I remembered why I don’t watch reality shows because they always prolong the ending. This is just like that. You’ve been warned so if you choose to read it, you’ve been warned.

I really was hoping for a happy ending. The Banks family truly deserve it. I hope there’s a book three and Al is well like Prime’s story.

Everybody Needs Accountability (But I Was Seated)
Quest II was definitely better than book one. The pacing picked up immediately and the drama started early, which I appreciated.
Now… the biggest issue across this entire series is simple: nobody holds the people they love accountable. Everybody is moving off emotion instead of logic Makai, Zephyr, Kacey, Serenity, Janelle… all of them. And it’s frustrating to watch when the damage being done is very real. Janelle is unhinged, Serenity is exhausting, and Kacey choosing revenge over truth? Yeah… I had questions.
On the flip side, Quest (and Grandma Rita) are some of the only real ones operating with sense. I appreciated his growth and how he handled things overall. That said… way too many loose ends at the end:
Janelle, Farah, Stacey, Zephyr, that “truce,” and then a plane crash?? Yeah… this is definitely setting up Quest III.
Overall, I was fully engaged the entire time. Just be prepared this book will have you shaking your head and still turning the page.

😱😱😱 What in the world did I just read?! This book had me stressed from beginning to end! Quest seriously cannot catch a break. Every time it seems like things might settle down, another problem comes crashing in.
Vivica was absolutely terrible. The damage she caused and the choices she made had me shaking my head the entire time. She deserved what she got.
And now Serenity is headed to jail?! I honestly don't know how they're going to get her out of this situation, but if there's one thing I've learned about the Banks Empire, it's that they always find a way. Between Zephyr, Rios, Kacey, and everyone else coming for them, the pressure is coming from all sides.
Despite all the chaos, I thoroughly enjoyed this story. The drama, twists, and nonstop tension kept me turning the pages. One of my favorite parts of the book remains Quest and Mehar's relationship. Their bond provides a nice balance to all the madness happening around them, and I found myself rooting for them every step of the way.
Overall, this installment had me on an emotional roller coaster, and I can't wait to see what happens next because that ending left me needing answers immediately! 🤯📚🔥

😳😳 Exactly what my face looked like at that ending!!!…
Quest can’t catch a break!!!…Everybody wants a piece of him and he keeps coming back punching!!!…
So now Kacey wants a piece of the action, rather than focusing on raising her children, knowing Thad was an Ain’t Shatt Ninja!!!…She needs to be focused on them children for real!!!..,
I was so happy that karma finally came for Mega because that was one dirty dude and that mess he was doing to Serenity had me hottttt!!!…
Vivica playing Gawd with ppl lives and freedom has led to her demise!!!…So now she wants Serenity to pay the price for her and Dante hiding a body!!!…I guess that babies paternity is about to be front and center and Dante’s weak ash will be too!!!…
Zephyr knows he is playing with fire and him and his thunder wheels gas nowhere to run that heat start coming his way!!!…

Twist & Turns from beginning to the To Be Continue Ending...
I just finished Quest II by N'Dia Rae, and first off, thank you for not rehashing scenes across this book the way you sometimes did in earlier installments of this series and in the King series. It drove me crazy, and I found myself skipping ahead whenever a scene repeated. So, thank you for listening.
I found out on Monday that this book released, and I dashed to the store to get it immediately because I needed and wanted to know how this series would end. The plot twist was thrilling, and I enjoyed every minute of it. The number of people hell-bent on ruining this family is ridiculous, and I’m ready for them to get a break and for the family to find their happily-ever-after. Their mother is the source of all this trouble, a horrible mother with no excuse—she got exactly what she deserved, though I wished it had been a slower, more painful end; the death felt too quick for me.
Yet, like the other books in this series, we’re left with more questions: Will Quest, Mahar, and the baby survive? Will Prime and Justice save Serenity from her parents’ craziness? Will Thad’s baby mother revenge him and destroy the family? And what about the Cartel, the Rios family seeking revenge, plus Quest’s ex-best friends and past girlfriend out for his blood and to ruin the Banks family? How will it end, when will it end, and who will come out on top?
To be continued, I’ll wait patiently and stalk the web for news about Quest III because I need to know—will this be the series’ finale, or will the author continue to stretch the story?

THAT CLIFFHANGER
WHAT A CLIFFHANGER!! 😮💨 Let me jump right into it! I’m going to try to go character by character without spoiling anything. If a spoiler accidentally slips out…blame it on my head, not my heart. 😎😬
Mehar: This felt like the book where we finally got to see the real Mehar. She’s still soft, but she’s also fierce, confident, and deeply in love. She’s finally getting everything I’ve wanted for her—to trust the man she’s with and to be loved the way she has always deserved.
Quest: This man is carrying the weight of his entire family while still trying to find his own way. He’s still pushing everything he learned about his father to the back of his mind, and I really wish he’d stop burying it. He’s doing everything he can to eliminate every threat to the people he loves…and there are plenty of them. Just when it looks like he might finally get a little peace…BOOM. Here we go again.
Vivica: Whew…that is one cold bitch. I did find myself understanding why she became the mother she is after learning about her own upbringing, but understanding isn’t the same as excusing it. She treats her children like pawns and would sacrifice them without hesitation if it got her what she wanted. Even until the very end, she was doing everything in her power to destroy their lives.
Serenity: My girl has been through more than anyone should ever have to endure. Finally getting her full story absolutely broke my heart. These kids are truly casualties of the war their mother created, and I hate that for all of them. Just when Serenity starts putting her life back together…BOOM. Another storm is headed her way. I just want her to get the happy ending she deserves.
Mekhi: I actually feel for him because he’s simply trying to protect his family while remaining the loyal friend he’s always been. But this book proves that sometimes blood really is thicker than water. What he doesn’t realize is that his own blood has dragged him straight into an all-out war. I agreed with how he handled the Janelle and Bryce situation—I just hate that it ever had to come to that.
Janelle: She just needs her ass whooped. 😂 And I know we’ve definitely not seen the last of her.
Zephyr: I understand why he’s angry about where life has taken him, but blaming Quest for everything is wild to me. Before his situation, he was out in those streets living la vida loca. At some point, he has to take accountability for his own choices. Instead, he’s letting his bitterness consume him, and now he’s dragged everyone into something they never saw coming. That’s the heartbreaking part—no one sees it. When the dust settles, he’s going to have to answer for everything he’s done.
That ending?! 😩 I already know Quest III is about to be one wild ride, and I cannot wait.

I Love the Banks brothers and the women they love. I couldn’t wait for this book to be available because I needed to know what was going to happen to Serenity, Mehar, and Quest….I was wondering if Viveca was going to continue to wreak havoc on the lives of her childrenand their families???
WELL after reading this installment of the series, all I could say to myself when I got what seems like another cliff hanger was well @#&% is this a situation where my favorite people are victims of circumstance or Karma?

Ooowee! I'm tired & stressed!
Quest II caused me to sign up for N'Dia Rae's Facebook Reading Group. I need a community that knows what I'm going through. Quest, Mehar, Serenity, Vivica, the Black siblings, everybody has me stressed out. When I'm expecting something to happen, then nothing happens. When I'm thinking it's going to be a nice, relaxed time ...BAM... something happens. I can't enjoy the good times because I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. And it's gonna drop. I'm telling everyone to read this series but start with the King family. I just know Prime & Riot are going to set it off soon. And stop saying, "Each book stands alone". Noooobody would be able to read one book and walk away.

Another cliffhanger..I cannot believe you😆
So I literally just finished part 1 a couple hours ago. So happy that I realized part 2 had dropped yesterday May 5. So I'm reading I'm reading. Warning cliffhanger y'all! She did it to us again. This was so good. I am literally on the edge of my seat. The enemies are stacking up as fast as Quest and his people are knocking them down. Almost makes your head spin how many people are gunning for the Banks family. But the betrayal from someone who used to be ya boy. Damn. So many revenge plans that are in motion. Can they even come back from that? Its a lot going on. A lot of people under fire. And to add insult to injury The book just ends. I can't. But I will be back for part 3. Hopefully it'll be here next month

This quest is everything
This series has really excelled. This book has been the best yet in the The Bamks Empire series. Now you are fully aware of the characters and motivations. The twists and unexpected turns, closed doors that leave somehow leave cracks for more story developments. N'dia is amazing at cliffhangers. There is so much goodness, intrigue, betrayal, manipulation, lies. The one truly sad part in this book is the shift in the relationship between Quest and Mekhi. Quest handled that carelessly and will have to pay for it but I really hope it's not too late. They need each other to survive. Fix that N'Dia Rae!! Please...you are:🥰

Great Storytelling (Possible Spoilers)
How can two people go through so much violence and turmoil in just a few months? Well, if you're Quest and Mehar, apparently quite a bit can happen; particularly if you unknowingly engage with people who don't have your best interests at heart. I don't know how many more cliffhangers I can deal with, but read this book!
The plot is hard-hitting, explosive, exposes deviousness on levels far beyond your imagination and DAMN if the worst betrayals come from those who are supposed to have your back!
But read this book! I finished it the day I started it, and I clutched my pearls every other chapter!
So, read this book!

Soooooo GOOD
This read was soooo good kudos to the author again. This book took off thrilling from beginning and kept getting better. I love a smooth transition from bombshell to bombshell. How much more can auntie Rita take from these grand children. Serenity needs some happiness momma struck again. Momma finally got what she deserved now that daddy needs to get the same treatment. I love just about everything I just didn’t understand why Quest left a witness which is why he is fighting for their life. I can’t wait to read the next book. ❤️❤️❤️

Baby listen here!! These banks bros got me wanting to get into the liquor business just in case they are real!! lol…. The protection they give their family… the love they share as black men… the women they love emphatically, the love for their grandmother, which by the way ain’t nobody to play with… is unmatched. This series is one you can hate and love all at the same time. The losses they take make the wins astronomical!! I’d read this whole series again just to be apart of their legacy !! Good Reads needs a 10 start button!!

Book one was so predictable to me but book2? Wow! The writing and the storyline were really good and kept you on your toes.
Both Quest and Mehar are growing. He is wanting things again while she is healing. Although, she was acting a little bit like her sister in that on scenario.
Mekhi and his brother, are so disappointing. Kacey was expected but I can’t understand why she’s going so hard for a cheater lol.
Overall, this book was really good. A cliffhanger of course. I’m looking forward to book 3.

Just Everything!!!!!
I can’t say enough about how good this book was!!! I loved every minute of it. Non stop plotting, planning, killing, sexing and just everything that a good book should have!!! I truly loved the sections highlighting . Washington, DC, because I was truly able to visualize the characters locations. I swear every time the Banks look they’re going to have a happy ending, some mess happens 😂😂😂. I am looking forward to the next saga, and Quest’s revenge!! Great job N’Dia Rae!!

This book ends in a cliffhanger. I should have figured that out because there was just so much action. Just when you think everyone is hitting their sweet spot, all hell breaks loose. Quest, being the oldest, has a lot on his plate, can this poor man ever take a break?
I pray that he and Mehar get out of this mess. I don't know why they want to mess with this family. Blood will be spilled, unfortunately.

Great Read
All I’m staying is , I need book 3 right now. This has my nerves on 100. I have no words about Vivica the lady was something else, smh. I just wish she got more than just a slap from Mehar, she needed a whole Smackdown Crackdown. She so wrong for what is did to REN, just wrong. I’m on the edge of my seat thing about all the things that is going to happen in book three and let’s not forget about Kacey, Mekhi, Zephyr and Rios brother. I am here for all of it.

What a ride!
Again we are dropped off by the heaviest cliffhanger. I know this isn’t over and I don’t know if I can wait another few weeks for the third book.
It’s addictive!
So many pieces! That Vivian is just a thorn in my side! Then I understand that this is an emotional time for Zeph, but to go to the extent he is going is a bit excessive (to me).
A very thin line between love and hate…all through this story.
I hope Kacey is dealt with expeditiously.

The way that I am mad, that I have to wait for the next book speaks volumes! N’Dia Rae is such an amazing storyteller 💯 You will never be bored with the storyline, and the PLOT will always, and I do mean ALWAYS, thicken!!! Now her and another author I adore love to leave us on cliffhangers so dang good 👀 It makes me so happy that we have these types of writers to let us escape into their universes! 🤗

I’m so over these characters!!!
I read all 3 Prime books. When the story ended I had no idea Quest would get a book. Quest book 1 I gave 3 starts because of all the bs they were going through. Unfortunately I skipped all around book 2 and I won’t be reading anymore on these characters. I just can’t take it. Then each book is over 300 pages but damn near 1/3 is sex scenes. I’m sorry but it’s a no for me.

Okay okay okay….Quest II has redeemed itself! I was not too happy with the way Prime 3 & Quest I ended; but Quest II yessss!!

It’s been a minute since I read Quest 1, so I appreciated how there was enough reminders and refreshers for me to remember what was going on.

The only thing I do not like about cliffhangers is you never know how long it will take for the follow up. And this is one that is in high anticipation for the next book, since I literally just finished it. It seems the chaos is never ending but yet and still I am here waiting.
