When Scarlet Maplewood’s life in London falls spectacularly apart, an invitation to stay with her best friend in beautiful Lovegrove Bay is just what she needs. But even Scarlet can’t believe her luck when she stumbles upon a new dinosaur museum and its gorgeous owner, Archer Wild, offers her the job of her dreams.
For as long as she can remember Scarlet has hidden her love and knowledge of dinosaurs for fear of being ridiculed. Now Archer is giving her the chance to set her passion free. Their connection is instant, their chemistry undeniable. But Scarlet has already lost too much to risk losing her dream job by dating her ridiculously handsome boss.
However, the more Scarlet and Archer work together the harder it gets to ignore how the sparks between them have ignited something deeper than either of them ever imagined. But Scarlet has a secret she left behind in London, one she isn’t ready to share with Archer, and when it follows her to Lovegrove Bay, will Archer be strong enough to stand by her side when it truly counts?

Holly lives in a little white cottage by the sea. She studied media at university which led to a very glitzy career as a hotel receptionist followed by a even more glamorous two years working in a bank. The moment that one of her colleagues received the much coveted carriage clock for fifteen years’ service was the moment when she knew she had to escape. She quit her job and returned to university to train to be a teacher. Three years later, she emerged wide eyed and terrified that she now had responsibility for the development of thirty young minds. She taught for four years and then escaped the classroom to teach history workshops, dressing up as a Viking one day and an Egyptian High Priestess the next. But the long journeys around the UK and many hours sat on the M25 gave her a lot of time to plan out her stories and she now writes full time, doing what she loves.

After reading the first book in this series I could not wait to read the next. This book did not disappoint and enjoyed it much more than the first. Scarlet and Archer were great characters and loved how this is based around their passion for dinosaurs. Cant wait for the next edition about the next Wild brother.
I absolutely loved this warm cosy book , Scarlet and Archer are a perfect fit and it's good to have something different, like dinosaur's in a story. A perfect read on this awful rainy night here . ☺️
Holly Martin never disappoints!! A lovely story of Scarlet, a secret dinosaur fanatic, finding a way to embrace her true self after a life of hiding in the shadows of a father she could never please. When she flees London to stay with her best friend Tilly, Scarlett never dreamt she would find her dream job in a dinosaur museum, let alone the possible live of her life. Will that all come crashing down when her boss/lover Archer discovers her past? A lovely Halloween story, I couldn't put it down.
I don't know how Holly does it, but I love each of her new books more than the last one! This is the best yet, with strong characters, a great story line and an unexpected ending
Beautifully written as always with Holly' books, full of fascinating facts alongside a lovely romance with lots of ups and downs, a thoroughly enjoyable read.
