When I saw this, I knew immediately it would be a retelling of Pinocchio. But this was not at all what I expected! First, it is SO GOOD. The plot is excellent and moves swiftly to the conclusion. Second, the characters are awfully realistic for being *robots*. Robots?! Yes.
Ultimately, at its core, this is a story about family, the same as the original story. But it's so much more. It's a lot darker than the Pinocchio you've read before. It gets a bit gory, too, which was fun. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a great, dark, quick read.

I thought this was such a creative take on Pinocchio. I loved all of the science involved. I found myself feeling deeply, not only for Jep and Anne, but the prototypes as well. This is a story about mistakes, but also learning to find ways to be better. PN0K0 was a story I couldn’t put down. I enjoyed it a lot.
