This one completely hooked me from the start. It was fast-paced, unputdownable, and had me saying, "Just one more chapter" until I finished it in only two days.
I really connected with Lena and her daughter, Iris. Their relationship felt authentic, and I found myself genuinely invested in their story because it is one that happens all too often.
One thing I really appreciated was how the legal proceedings were woven into the story. They added so much realism and made everything feel believable without slowing the pace. It made the stakes feel even higher and kept me fully immersed.
If you love thrillers that are suspenseful, emotionally engaging, and impossible to put down, this is one I'd definitely recommend.

This was a mind blowing read. This way it detailed the manipulation of not only a wife but a judicial system as well. I couldn’t believe how cold and calculated the FMCs husband was. He had everything in place to try and make himself appear as the victim and her as the unstable and manipulative one. I was complete drawn in and couldn’t put this down. The depth of this was excellent and it felt so real. This was a very intense and thrilling read. I loved every minute of it.
