Fair Game makes AI feel far less intimidating and far more practical. I especially loved the focus on custom AI, data, and real-world business decisions rather than endless hype and jargon.

Clear, practical, and genuinely useful. If you’re trying to understand what AI can actually do for your business, this is a great place to start.

Rob writes in a very easy-to-read way; this isn’t a boring business book. In Fair Game, he teaches the fundamentals of AI and convincingly communicates how important it is to customize it to you and your business. AI is clever but clumsy and traditional CPUs are rigid but reliable. You still very much need traditional software, but knowing when and how to use LLMs will enable you to do things you didn’t believe were possible before. Take advantage of it! He provides many examples of real solutions to illustrate this. This is the best book on AI I’ve read to date.
