Lead Me Through Calamity

Joanna and Levi find a cohort on the brink of disaster in the highly anticipated fifth novel in the Bunker Series!

Cheymount, Colorado is supposed to be a thriving post-apocalyptic community, blessed with ample resources and a benevolent dictator to guide them into the future. Joanna and Levi plan to ask Cheymount’s help defending a struggling cohort against the aggressions of New Dallas.

Instead, they find a community reeling from the death of their leader—which might not have been an accident.

While the people of Cheymount wrestle over their leadership vacuum, Joanna and Levi begin to suspect they’re hiding bigger secrets. They hear whispers of classified projects inside the old bunker and discover a cluster of fresh graves outside of town. But before they can solve the mystery, disaster strikes.

When the dust clears, Joanna and Levi will have to face their deepest fears—or lose each other forever.

I absolutely loved this addition to the Bunker series! Always up for more Joanna and Levi 😍

After so many trials they've been through, I was a little disappointed in the doubts they had in their relationship here, BUT it was also realistic and a part of relationships to figure out what their future may be.
But Jordan Rivet, brilliant woman that she is, filled this book with so much mystery and action and intrigue that we couldn't focus on that blip too long.

I also loved that it kept me guessing! When I thought I had it figured out, new information would arise and make me question everything again, right along with Levi.
As usual, Joanna was too trusting while Levi kept people at arms length but I love that deep down they STILL trusted each others abilities and good intentions.

Levi never doubted Joanna's survival skills and intelligence, and Joanna trusted Levi's will to never give up. I honestly LOVE these two SO much and am happy with how everything was revealed and resolved and excited that there will be MORE Bunker books in the future 😍

Also, when are people going to learn to stop blaming Levi and Joanna for all bad things that happen? 🤣
Anyway, brilliant and fun plot, stakes kept me on the edge and the romance still has me in a chokehold 🤭 haha

Lead Me Through Calamity, Bunker Book 5 by Jordan Rivet, was everything I expected and so much more. Joanna and Levi continue their envoy mission, this time bringing them to Cheymount in Colorado. This self efficient, technically advanced bunker seems to have it all figured out, until disaster strikes under strange circumstances. Joanna and Levi struggle to prove their innocence while trying desperately to get out of there alive.

This installment isn't just about the bunker, it's a testament of Joanna and Levi's love for one another and their dedication to other survivors. It's heartwarming to see two people not only so dedicated to each other, but also totally immersed in their mission to unite the cohorts for the betterment of all. It's rewarding to be reminded that there are genuinely good people in the world, and that true love does exist.

Overall I enjoyed this 5th installment of the Bunker books, and look forward to seeing what comes next. I definitely recommend Lead Me Through Calamity, Bunker Book 5!

Joanna and Levi have finally made it to Cheymount but find out things are not as stable as they thought and thus begins a mystery they must figure out and survive. I enjoyed the story and characters, the mystery feel, and the uncertainty. Glued to the end to see what they will uncover this time. Loved it.

An interesting series

I've enjoyed the series about a post-apocalyptic world, and I admire the fact that Rivet has made her characters realistic and likeable.

I hope there will be more stories about Joanna and Levi, and their travels.
