He was well-known as the crazy man nobody messed with. If you wanted a one-man army, you turned to him. He’d blown up his bar, a good portion of Rapid City, tried to blow up a ghost, and quite a few other things, too. There were even bodies buried out behind his bar. Hell, the man even owned his own excavator – that said it all.

But before he was known as the crazy lunatic, he was a man in love, and he messed up. Badly. He didn’t see the point in elegant speeches and wasting words; why bother? That bit him in the butt when he thought his woman could read his mind. Then he doubled down and treated her like a weak, fragile thing, instead of the strong woman she was. That cost him dearly for nearly two decades.

For seventeen years, she’d been loved, valued and lived a whole different life to what she’d once planned. But life doesn’t like people to be overly happy, and it destroyed what she cherished. Now back in South Dakota, she had priorities and people to protect. Nobody was going to mess with her family. Least of all him.

But she wasn’t bitter or petty; she’d judged him all those years ago, and while she didn’t like or understand his reasoning, she accepted it. He had to understand she’d moved on, lived a great life, and she’d not change that for anything.
Could they bridge the grief she’s suffering, heal some wounds, and maybe they could possibly tame each other’s wild side? Then again, they’d always been like moths to a flame; they might cause their own brand of chaos and set the world on fire.

Hey there!

Thanks for checking out my author profile.

I was born in 1974 in Dagenham, Essex, England! I moved out of Essex in 2002 and moved to South Yorkshire and then settled in Derbyshire in 2005.

I've got four sons, one daughter and seven cats! I'm still working out who is more trouble, the children or cats! My children and I love cooking together, movie nights and music.

I've written stories ever since I was thirteen but I never had the courage to publish one before. But we all know the famous song... This is me, from the Greatest Showman. It gave me courage to Indie publish and be myself! Never under estimate the power of a good song!

My favourite holiday is Halloween and I'm known as the crazy lady in my street when Halloween hits! My love of Halloween even carries over to Christmas when, alongside my big "normal" tree I also have a Jack Skeleton tree!

My favourite movies vary, Star Wars, LOTR, Pirate Movie, Amazing Mr Blunden, Phantom of the Opera, Memphis Belle., finally Olympus/London has Fallen. Music depends on my mood, country, pop, classical, even bagpipes!

Rage MC is the first series I've Indie published and lots more Rage MC books will follow. I have several other series' I'm working on as well. So you will be getting a lot more Elizabeth N Harris Books! If you have any questions please check out my website and use the contact page to contact me in a variety of ways!

Thanks for reading!

I love Magic, loved it when he would show up in the Rage or Hellfire books, he brought so much chaos, you couldn't help but to laugh. When I saw that he was getting his own book, I couldn't wait to read it! I'm happy to say that this one lived up to the chaos and fun, even if I was worried at the start of it.

Magic and Jody were great together at the start, but I hated how lack of communication drove them apart and all that they loss. Sure Jody found a good place to land and a good man to love her and her kids, but it still sucked. Sucked more when she lost all of that and more. Jody coming back to SD was good and you could tell that her aunt was meddling from the grave, so glad that she learned that too.

Of course Jody didn't come back alone, she had her pack with her, all of them feral, some more so than others. It was fun to see how they all interacted, with the family and with those outside of the family.

I liked that Jody and Magic talked things through early on when she came back, that both of them could see the issues from the past and that Magic didn't marginalize Vulcan and all that Jody lived in Denmark. I also liked the approach Magic had with the kids, all of them. You could see that this approach was the best thing and helped build stronger bonds. It was nice to see how things ended for them all! They deserved the happy they were finding, after all the shit they had been through.

I don't know about you, but I was dreading Magic's book... Not because I didn't want his story but because how do you do justice to a character like Magic?? This man has been the side character of all side character's in Elizabeth's books and I wasn't sure how having his own book would turn out. I am very happy to report that I WAS WRONG to be scare and I apologize to Elizabeth for doubting her authoring abilities!!! Magic and Jody are the perfect example of second chance romance. Due to choices and secrets Magic held back from Jody, Jody moved on and lived her life, finding a second love. But he never replaced Magic as her soulmate. When life send's Jody back into Magic's area, they reconnect (not very happily on either of their parts) and their second chance goes from there. I really enjoyed Magic's book and highly recommend, even if you are nervous like I was that Magic wouldn't live up to Magic!

“… they’d always been like moths to a flame; they might cause their own brand of chaos and set the world on fire.”

I was hoping to see some of the Allies get their own books and Magic’s does not disappoint!

This one spans almost two decades from where Magic and Jody started to how they end up after the war. I’m not huge on the miscommunication trope, and being so young they struggled to figure out how to merge their lives. But I will say that once they both grew up, were eventually able to figure out their miscommunication and move past the hurts each caused.

Couldn’t imagine being a parent figure for 7 kids at once but Jody is doing a great job considering everything that led up to her current circumstances. I’m looking forward to seeing this brood in upcoming books hopefully!

Magic loves explosives!

Magic is such an interesting character! He is bold, confident, fiercely protective of his and kind to Bunny, Alice, his kids and Jody's crew. After years apart, Jody and Magic rekindle their relationship and give you all the feels!

This quote sums up Magic's approach to life well:
"What armaments did I have in my bunker? I might need to stock up on bullets." – Magic

Another great story from the Rage, Hellfire, ally clubs, and associates of Beth's Rapid City world. It can be read as a stand alone, but Magic's character and the richness of this book is much better if reading Beth's Rapid City World books in order.

Wonderful!

Magic is pure magic. This book was great and Beth has out did herself again. I loved all the supporting characters and this book is filled with the ups and downs of life. Magic and Joey's love story spans a couple of decades, but it flashes by in the blink of a eye. Magic deserves his happily ever after and Beth does her Magic good in this one. I would highly recommend this book to everyone because it is universal. The magic that is woven into the pages of this story will have you rooting for our couple and laughing at the hi jinks of the children! Five stars, but ten in my book. Great start to the associates. Peace out.

All Magic has a little bit of heartbreak

To say that this book was amazing.... is an understatement!

Magic thought he had it all under control but blew it all sky high. Then found out what he lost.

Jody tried, she tried so hard but Magic didn't want to listen. She took her chance and had a life. A loving life with another man. A man who knew that he was her second love but was man enough to love her for it.

Things change, lives fall and renewed love shines bright.

Magic works for love of Jody and her kids.

Except for a character issue - strong story

The author has health issues and I think her beta readers didn't catch the changed character names at the end of chapter 15.

As far as the story goes, it was pretty good. The whole Dutch mc thing was a unique twist.

Because of Alice, Bunny and even Magic - it was like coming home a little bit.

I'm hoping this story will help me thru a bit of a reading slump.

Magic is book 1 in The Associates series and is Magic and Jody's story. Their story is emotional, tragic and an absolute blast! All of these things and much more are blended together beautifully to give us a relatively light hearted story that I couldn't get enough of! I really hope we get more of Magic, Jody and their fantastic brood of kids!

Magic

Elizabeth N. Harris has created a world that I would be happy to live in. I want to be friends with these insane people. Magic has been such a big part of the Rage and Hellfire series. Finally getting his story and him finding his happily ever after makes me happy. The madness in Jody's house is perfect. Magic is the best Pops.

Soulmate

Life is a gamble. Miscommunication is hard on everyone’s life. It was nice that she was able to find two totally and different loves in her life. Glad that Magic took all of them into his fold. Maybe we hear that Jody’s boy joined one of the allies MC. Again great book cannot wait for more.

Wow that was a lot

The arthur was able to show us just how dangerous and impacting something would be to life if you don't communicate with one another. Jody has a life that she had to live to survive what happened with magic. The tragedy that Jody and the kids suffer through is so sad. These kids give the rage kids a run for their money.

explosively epic!

Been waiting for magic’s book for a long time.
It was crazy and as epic as I knew it would be. Jody has her own crazy that matches magic’s add in some slightly unhinged kids and Boom!

Back to Rapid City

I’ve missed the mayhem of the Allies and their families. Glad to be back. Who knew the tragic past of Magic? Why, why, why do these strong guys underestimate their strong women? It only ends in pain.

It was great reading about Magic's back storyline. The best part for me was Jody's kids. Of course two was their twins and the others were her best friends. It was sad how that all happened. A great story. HEA.

That was really good but also sad of what Jody and the kids went through. There's only 1 thing that feels a little unfinished but everything else was really good. Yea magic screwed up big x but at least he can finally get his head out of his ass when he needs 2. Lol

What can you say!!! Twist, turns and not opening up and talking through things that's going on with your partner can damage a relationship. Magic and Jody go through so much. And then through in the crap the kids through at Magic you have one heck of a book.
