Not Who I Once Was by Dr. James Harris is an inspirational book about determination, hard work, and faith in God. Reading about Dr. Harris's journey was encouraging and reminded me that with hope, perseverance, and trust in God's plan, our circumstances don't have to define our future.

This book by Dr. James E. Harris Jr. is an absolute gem. From the very first page, you can feel the depth of knowledge and lived experience poured into every chapter. The way complex ideas are broken down into clear, relatable insights makes it not just informative, but genuinely transformative.

What stood out most to me was the balance between practical guidance and deeper reflection. It doesn’t just tell you what to think it challenges you to grow, to question, and to apply the lessons in your own life. That’s rare.

The writing style is engaging, honest, and grounded. You can tell the author isn’t just speaking from theory, but from real understanding. Whether you’re new to this topic or already familiar, there’s something powerful here for you.

This is one of those books you don’t just read once—you come back to it, highlight it, and let it shape your mindset over time. Highly recommended to anyone looking for clarity, growth, and a fresh perspective.
