A concise, well-told journey of a guy figuring out how to lead. He tries two different approaches and neither yields the success he looked for, but seems to have landed on the right approach in his 3rd role. Worth the read to potentially help new leaders get to the right balance on their first try.

I don't directly manage many people, but for the small team I lead I've got some solid takeaways on how I want to improve the work we do together.
