I will never understand men who decide to be in “that” life who just pawn off their daughters to fix some ish that they caused!!! Ughhhh… 🤬
Genevieve got caught up in an engagement that she wants no part of to “save” the family. But the man that she is to marry is the ultimate fboy! This can’t be my life! 😤 Things look up when the jeweler that her fiancé Clayton hired comes to the house with ring selections. Genevieve knows she has no right to be looking at this man like this, but damn he fine! 🥰
Braden/Brasko saw Genevieve and immediately knew he was going to snatch her from Clayton. A man like him didn’t deserve her. Although this man knew nothing about this woman, he puts into motion plays to get her, while putting his own family in the line of fire. I began to put the pieces together as to who the snake may have been, and damn! It really be ya own people!! 🤯
Although this read was entertaining, I didn’t feel any real chemistry between Genevieve and Brasko. Yes, they were attracted to each other, but what else? Then Brasko was just doin' too much! 😮 Do we learn what happened to Clayton and Jackie? Where is Genevieve’s father?

3.5🌟 Branden saw Genevieve and immediately said to himself he’s taking her from her disrespectful fiancé. And he did just that!
Why does it always have to be the one that’s closest to you to do you dirty?? I loved how everything was handled. This was a good short read.

Chillleeeeee, it really be them people that you share DNA with that’ll be your downfall smh. Ain’t no way, that man deserved everything he had coming to him; idc idc!!!!! The jeweler and the song bird were everything though. That dang on plot twist was wicked though. Didn’t see that coming until it was made known.. Thats why you gotta watch those you have in your circle; never know what their intentions are. LJ and Royal got next👀😏🧐😌

Brasko stood on business from the first interaction to the last !! This man took on the family debt just to get his girl that’s wtf you call BDE had her in her fiancé house dripping I don’t wanna give to much but babyyyyy this was a good novella that give all the feels

The ending was hilarious, Branden being serious made it even more funny than it was. I hope I get to see what happens with Clayton & Jackie. Who needs enemies with a friend like her? I hope Dame ends her as slow as possible!
