This was such a good book! I loved Queen Cressida’s arc. I loved how she outwardly displayed the demons inside of her. Good amount of spice! And Merrick…dam! The world building was very good. The characters were all well flushed out and realistic. Well paced. And the ending…well there better be another book!

I was honored with an ARC copy of this book. I am horrible at writing reviews but I absolutely adored this book! Merrick is everything you want in a partner. He loves his Queen exactly how she is and helps her become the best version of herself. This book has magic, mystery, intrigue, a little bit of spice, and a Queen who needs to learn to love herself. My only regret in getting this book early is that I have even longer to wait until book 2 is released!
