enjoyable good old fashioned biography,with nobody coming out of it too bad compared to the kiss and tell kind of today.

What a delightful man and an interesting read! I’ve been binging several of his films lately (which are difficult to find) and, aside from being ridiculously handsome and charming, he was a very competent actor. Unfortunately, aside from being plagued by epilepsy, Hollywood never appreciated him or made good use of his talents. Instead, he was relegated to being known as Elizabeth Taylor’s second husband and stuck in stinker movies outside of his successful UK productions. Despite it all, he remained gentlemanly, grateful and good humored.
