A Very Moving Story
I received a copy of The Simple Man from Michael via an ARC sign-up opportunity he was offering several weeks back.
Simply put and without spoilers, this short story is quite moving. It’s a story of self-discovery, it’s a story of finding peace in the midst of the noise around us, and it’s a story that can resonate with any and everyone.
I highly encourage you to read this book…it just may change your outlook and the path you travel.

This book is a great story about Marcus, a man trying to find peace and happiness. Through his journey, he finds peace with his past and even faith that he is doing what he is meant to do. He finds himself and realizes that life isn't done with him and there are more experiences, whether they are hard fought or just interactions with strangers, for him. A good read that is relatable to our own lives and trials. Well done!

Beautiful Book. It is less than 150 pages. You can read it in one day, but I recommend you read it in two. It will be worth it. You'll let the words and travel sink in and simmer. This is a story about Marcus, a man not happy and is trying to find peace and happiness. The story is a journey. And wow does the Title itself pack a hard punch. Enjoy this read. This journey. This exploration. And when you turn to the final pages, the choices presented to you, is a beautiful touch. Bravo!

This was a very beautiful story about one's soul journey to find themself, it actually reminded me a lot of The alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Similarly it gives perspective on life and truth of life. I would love to see a continuation of this, especially as a romance girlie, but at the same time I like the idea of just imaging the future for the simple man

A wonderful tale told by a great storyteller
An impressive first book from Michael Castaneda. You are along for the journey and you feel every part of what The Man is feeling in his search for hapiness. His struggles, his confusion, his pain, and, yes, his fight. I highly recommend you take this journey too, and I hope there are many more from Castaneda.

Interesting
Probably a book I will need to read again later on. Reminiscent of books foisted on students by teacher hoping a few of them might think thoughts beyond their level. Try it.

Wow. I was in a bit of a reading slump through April, and received this book and jumped right in. It was a fantastic read. The themes it carried through, the messaging, the journey, can and will be felt by anyone reading this book. It will speak differently to each "traveller" that embarks on the journey to their own fulfillment.
It is rare to find a story that speaks to the heart of the reader, where they are, but this is one such case.
We are not defined by who we were. We need not be stuck on the trajectory we have started on. And we were meant to find peace.
