So she sucked at being a sub. Big deal. Time to put on her big girl knickers and move on. After her disastrous affair with BDSM club owner Quinn Fredricks, putting the skills she learnt into practice and giving others what she can’t have, provides the focus of her life. The only rule is, nobody touches her. Celibacy is a far easier option than taking down the walls around her heart.

When the intriguing and grieving Nick Philips asks for her help to shut down a human trafficking ring, by infiltrating the gang as a Domme, it sounds like a busman’s holiday.

Bondage, flame play, human ponies and tropical islands are all idyllic, if it’s what you want….

Emma is the #1 Amazon Bestselling Author of m/m series such as Paint, Incubus, and Lies.

Known as the Queen of MM angst her books include Sci-fi, paranormal, and contemporary romance and always puts her characters through hell before giving them a HEA. She blames her rebellious muse (who looks like Chris from the Paint Series) for the erotic aspects tickling the angst, and the humor cuddling up with the erotic.

When not writing or reading she herds Birman cats and sons; Both groups argue that the other is too large.

When I first started this series, I was instantly drawn to Missy. It was hard not to be. The beautiful Domme seemed like she had a lot going on under the surface. It felt like we weren't getting the whole story and what we were getting was being drip fed through other characters and her role in other stories. So when I got up to Missy's book, well, I was beyond excited. And as always, Emma Jaye did not disappoint!

We met Nick originally in Lucy's story and you couldn't help but love him instantly. The gorgeous, protective, loyal, smart-mouthed, giant is well... he's sort of perfect actually. And I loved the dynamic he and Missy had in Lucy's story. So it was a double bonus having both Nick and Missy in this story. I loved their banter. I loved their realistic feeling interactions and emotions and stubbornness.

This wasn't the type of story I thought it was going to be, though I don't know why that surprises me considering every single one of the stories in this series are different. But this one was a suspenseful adventure from start to finish. It begins with Anton's (Nick's former lover that raped and kidnapped Lucy) death. Naturally Nick is conflicted with how he feels about this and gets roped back into the Army to finish what Anton was unable to. His mission? Go after a sex trafficking ring. But there's one kicker, he needs to go into as a Dom in order to gain access.

This is where Missy comes in. Knowing that Nick is not a Dom and would end up like Anton if he tried, she decides to go in as the experienced Domme and have Nick as her bodyguard of sorts. Especially since Missy knows Marcus, the man who runs the sex club that they're going to. She and Marcus shared one steamy night and since then, he's wanted her.

Once they hit Colorado, things really begin to take off. Is Anton actually dead? Who's side is Marcus on? When Nick and Missy find themselves kidnapped and stuck on an island in the middle of the Bahamas, their world takes an unexpected turn. And that's really all I can say, because I refuse to give anything away. You just have to read it and I can promise you that you will not be sorry. This book gripped me from the start and wouldn't let me go until the last page.

I loved absolutely every second of this brilliant story with these amazing characters and I cannot wait to read Nick's story next. If you haven't started this series, then you're seriously missing out!

Man. How do I review this book? Jeez. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me scream at my Kindle. I love the characters in these stories, they feel like 'family' now and reading a new book is a family reunion! But don't worry, this is very much a story of Missy and Nick and Anton and Marcus... There's romance, heat, laugh out loud moments, and cry your eyes out moments.

Missy begins this novel as a Domme, a strong willed kick a** female who takes no crap off anyone and can put a sub in his/her place easily. How it ends, she has been through so much in the course of the novel, she is definitely changed but she is still a strong female who is trying to adjust and find her way. I look forward to reading more of her in the authors next book, Nick, which is slated to be out in July 2015 according the back matter included in Missy (Call Girls #5) by Emma Jaye .

Nick is a conflicted hero dealing with heartbreak over Anton and then Anton... oh you'll see when you read this book, I can't ruin the surprise here! I will say that Nick is a delicious hunk of man and I am rooting for him to find his happy. I can't wait for his story in July!

Marcus... Did NOT see that coming. Wow.

Anton... Jeez.

Five absolute stars of pure enjoyment. I loved this novel, can't wait for more. If you're new to the series, begin with The Beginning (Call Girls, #0.5) by Emma Jaye , continue with Merissa (Call Girls #1) by Emma Jaye , Sasha (Call Girls #2) by Emma Jaye , Lucy (Call Girls #3) by Emma Jaye , Emily (Call girls #4) by Emma Jaye .

The best in the series in my opinion. Even though the second half of the book made me uncomfortable all of the time it made me want to keep going and going and going.
I need the next book!

Complex is the word to use when describing Missy. She has a depth to her character that previous appearances in this series have hinted at. Now she has her own title we can find out more, but is the dominatrix persona she has just a front, or is she really as hard as nails? Thrown into a situation that tests her both physically and mentally, Missy is tested to her limit and beyond.

Emma Jaye has written another excellent addition to this series, this time with a storyline that doesn’t just take us into the world of BDSM but exposes the worst excesses of those who believe that a Dom is there to destroy the personality of their Sub and remake it as they see fit. It’s not for the faint-hearted, but there’s plenty to reward the reader.

4.5 Stars

This is the second book by Emma Jaye I've read and I'm impressed. The book follows Missy and Nick on quite an adventure with constant twists you'll never expect.
We start out with Nick, who, from the get-go I fell in love with. He's strong, dominant, very sexy and funny. Completely irresistible. I love how he firsts see Missy and the banter between the two throughout the book is well done.
Missy is her own force and a just as strong a character. I loved how she was a strong viper-tongued Domme, but inside, she was fragile and doubtful, which made her real. We really delve into her past/psyche and are taken deep into a very dark side to the BDSM world.
The baddies are just as great and developed, which made the entire story believable.
The book has a large cast of characters, each with their own story and I'm going back to read about the underlying story in this book.
The only reason I didn't give this a solid 5 stars was there were a few times it felt like the book could have left a little back story/scenes out towards the end. But all in all, I loved the book and look forward to the next installment.

The fifth installment of the Call Girls series sees the Domme Missy become entangled in a mission that challenges both her vast reserves of inner strength and very identify.

As with all the Call Girl novels, Missy is populated by an intriguing cast of characters drawn largely from the previous books. Though Missy can be read as a standalone work, I found myself curious about some of the peripheral characters, so I will likely return to the books that I have missed to fill in the blanks.

In this volume, Missy is reluctantly paired with Nick Philips to uncover a human trafficking ring. Along the way, both Missy and Nick struggle with various temptations that strike at the core of their respective identities. In addition to internal conflict, the uncertainties surrounding the various characters' motivations are artfully rendered.

All told, the carefully crafted plot and compelling characters (not to mention the steaminess) keep the pages turning.

A very enjoyable read.

Wow! Emma Jaye has outdone herself with this latest instalment in the Call Girls series. I have loved Missy since the first book and couldn't wait to read more about her. She is just so kick-ass, I can't help but like her. There is some serious action and adventure in this book, as well as a peek into the BDSM world. I never would have thought that I would understand why people would do those kinds of things, but the way it's presented here it makes a strange sort of sense. As usual with this series, I couldn't put it down and read it straight through in two days. If you like adventure, excellent character development, a good love story, a strong female lead, and a hot book boy friend or two, then you should definitely get this book right now! :)

An action-packed thriller of a story that certainly packs a punch, with the feisty Missy facing a series of harrowing misadventures when she volunteers to help uncover illegal dealings in a particularly dark and dangerous corner of the BDSM world she inhabits.
I can’t wait to read the next book.

Missy is a strong willed women but she has put herself into a situation that does not allow her to be as strong as she would like. Nick seems to be her true love but I am not really sure of it yet. I Can not wait to read Nick's story. Hopefully it will be out soon ready to read it!!

A seemingly simple undercover role gets waaaay out of control

Missy, domme at a BDSM club, gets a chance to work with Nick on a covert op to take down a human trafficking ring. They are both nursing different kinds of broken hearts, but gel as a team. They head out to meet the man suspected of leading the ring, with an introduction from Missy’s ex, Quinn. From almost the start, all is not as it seems for the mission, and both their situations.

As with any of the books in this series, you can read this one as a standalone, but you get much more from the secondary characters if you’ve read the earlier books (and why wouldn’t you when the series is excellent?) If you have read the others, then you might, like me, be surprised by the departure from the norm of this book. Because of that, this book stands out as the best so far in the series.

Lovers of any of Ms Jaye’s books will not be surprised by the angst she puts her main characters through. Having said that, Missy suffers the most I’ve read in this series (though Lucy comes close). Nick, who also appeared in Lucy’s book, quickly becomes a firm favorite and I’m thrilled to see that he has a book of his own coming up next. I am wondering if any other characters from their adventure will reappear.

I’m almost jealous of you if you are picking up one of Emma Jaye’s books for the first time as you will have a fabulous time discovering these characters, and many more in her other series.
