Hay escenas de dubcon que me asustan y me alejan de la lectura, pero hay otras que disfruto muchísimo, y esta, sin dudas, fue de las buenas!

Marie Allen ha sido un gran descubrimiento para mí y no me ha decepcionado en absoluto. Me ha encantado esta historia y, definitivamente, me quedé con ganas de más. Aunque durante el primer 30% estuve un poco indecisa sobre si me gustaría, la trama fue mejorando por momentos (o simplemente tocó los kinks que me gustan y ya, jaja 🤭).

Definitivamente quiero seguir leyendo más de esta autora. Me dejó con ganas de más!

There are some dubcon tropes that scare me off and make me want to DNF a book, and then there are others that I thoroughly enjoy—and this one was definitely a winner!

Marie Allen is such a great find for me, and they did not disappoint at all. I loved this story and was definitely left wanting more. During the first 30% of the book, I was a bit on the fence about whether I’d like it, but the story just kept getting better (or maybe it just hit all my favorite tropes and that was it, haha 🤭).

I definitely want to keep reading more of their work. I'm hooked!

Hunter is put in a horrible situation and forced to pay off his parents' debts, and is quickly thrown into a kinky, queer, dark party lifestyle with forced sharing, exhibitionism, voyerism, and also drugs - and a lot of them LOL.

This book is somewhat difficult for me to rate because I'm legit intrigued by the story - which is very, very high heat erotica with kink, dubcon, sharing, taboo, and a lot of things happening to Hunter across this fast-paced novella. However, the writing itself felt very surface level. It was very dialogue heavy, and felt more telling than showing what was happening. It makes me wish the writing itself was stronger?

This is the first story in a 6 book series that the author says will end with a HEA for Hunter and I'm super curious how everything will play out. I think I will at least get the second book when it comes out to see how things progress!

It is a book of contradictions.

One part is off-putting, but the other half draws you into the story so deeply that you cannot put it down.
The reason I am not giving full stars is that, although I am captivated while reading, I miss depth.

For me, it is written too superficially, preventing me from being fully drawn into it.

This does not detract from the fact that I hope to read more books by this author.

WOW! This book is so hot! Hunter gets from “I'm straight.” to a k1nky cvmdvmp so fast! He's such a good boy. I can't wait to read the next book in the series!

This was a fun read! This was also my first book by the author & it won't be my last. Spice from the beginning right up until the end. Hunter discovering the k!nks he has was a fun journey. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
