3.5⭐️ Okay so I had high expectations for the final book of Kay’Lo & Toni. I was watching the clock for the Kindle Drop…sadly it fell a little flat to me.
I typically don’t give spoilers in my reviews; but I think this review needs it.
First of all, the book could’ve ended after Kay’Lo and Toni’s “honeymoon” & 2nd wedding the chapter about Pluto & Pressure could have been omitted it literally served no purpose.
Kelli was a good addition, he came thru for Lo with his hacking skills. I thought he and Shanelle was gonna have a thing; but it seems Renza and her got some sexual tension they gotta work out.
I appreciated how the author showed the parents “making love” but the kids were “Fn” lol That was a nice touch I don’t normally see in books.
Renza has a book coming and yeah ima still read it; it but I’ll keep my anticipation checked.

5/5 ⭐️ Listen, it’s bittersweet because this is the end of this series. The character development in all 4 parts of this series was OFF THE CHARTS, but Toni had the biggest character development and in this last part it shows. Her being able to acknowledge and take accountability, taking a step back to think about her own actions and making a change really did it for me. Kay’Lo, ugh, he is everything; A great husband, daddy, cousin, and friend. He went through so much but with the support of his family and friends, he overcame it all. The way he loves on Toni is so apparent. Loved that we still got to see glimpses of Pressure & Pluto’s relationship and their family dynamics. Kelli came through in a major way for Kay’Lo and he didn’t even know Kay’Lo like that to go out of his way, but he did - respect; can’t wait to read more ‘bout him. Renza, whew, he’s so funny but I think he a little more tapped than Kay’Lo behind that goofy exterior so I definitely can’t wait to read bout him too. Reni, can’t stand her…for now, I don’t know her back story enough. Long story short, this book was written exceptionally well and left me with no questions unanswered. The way Sha was able to write these characters thoughts, wants, emotions without it feeling too much made it such a good read, not once did I think about DNF’ing. Love this book & series down!
Rating 4.5⭐️ This finale was GOODT. Everybody was emotionally exhausted, stressed, traumatized, fighting demons, catching cases and trying to hold on to love at the exact same time. The entire book felt heavy in the best way because the consequences finally caught up to everybody.
Toni babygirl you absolutely did what you thought was necessary but actions like that don’t just disappear because the intention was love. Kay’Lo watching the mother of his child risk herself AND their unborn daughter shattered something in him and honestly I understood his distance. He wasn’t completely gone though. The way he stayed connected through LoLo showed the love never fully left, it was just buried underneath fear, anger, pressure and emotional exhaustion. You could FEEL two people loving each other while simultaneously struggling to survive everything life kept throwing at them. Sometimes love isn’t soft. Sometimes it’s holding on by a thread while the world keeps trying to pull you apart.
Kay’Lo carried this entire book on his back. Trial hanging over his head. Possible death penalty. Enemies closing in. Marriage falling apart. Becoming a father. Whew. Life was beating his ass from every direction and somehow he stayed grounded. I loved that we got to see him navigate all of this WITHOUT spiraling mentally because old Kay’Lo would’ve absolutely crashed out or had an episode. That growth mattered.
Can we clap it up for Kelli and Renza!!! BABYYYY they were outside WORKING to make sure Lo walked away free. Loyal down to the bone. Everybody needs people in their corner willing to go to war like that.
By the end of this series, what stood out most is that love alone isn’t enough if healing, accountability and communication don’t come with it too. Toni and Lo finding their way back to each other felt earned because neither of them came out untouched. They had to fight for that marriage through grief, guilt, trauma and resentment.
Sha Jones wrapped this series up with emotion, chaos, growth, pressure and heart. Kay’Lo 🫶🏾 that man loves with his whole entire soul.

Baby… you sure as hell know how to keep us on our toes and make sure that we feel every second like I’m living inside of the story myself. The way in which you built up Kay’Lo’s case and allowed Kelli and Renza to step more into the fore front whew! But how you ended with Renza in that hotel with Shanelle! Whew!!! Baby I can’t wait for the next book because I want all the smoke. Don’t think I didn’t peep how Blaqson and Kelli both dipped off but that I already know will be story all in itself. This finale was everything! From Kay’Lo’s case, to Pressure and Pluto’s new pregnancy, Abeni’s cancer diagnosis and My’ Loves welcome to the world and how fatherhood has helped Kay’Lo immensely. Sha Jones you can do no wrong sis. Can’t wait for the next one. You did your big one once again
Sha don’t miss!!!! I’ve been locked in wit her and this series and she didn’t disappoint!!! Kay’lo and Toni have been on a ride but I enjoy their love. That man don’t play about his wife and I love when they lock in together! My’love is definitely her daddy daughter and I love that for her. Pluto and Pressure gon always be my faves because they do not play about the family! Shanelle has grown on me, I wasn’t sure about her at first. I hope she get her POV cus I got questions. Kelli is another one that is always gon be alright wit me . I’m glad he got to put his two cents in. This book was EVERYTHING!!! 10/10 Highly recommend ! Can’t wait for Renza❤️
Sha, Friend!!!!! Baby you out everything into this series but this book said something else. I am not sure how to put into words how you showed us the many levels of Black Love, Loyalty, Family and Dedication. Toni and Kay’Lo have gone through any and everything a couple could and stood ten toes down for one another. It’s beautiful to see generations of married couples show what love looks like not just during the good times. To watch all of them men want to be “Men” and “Husbands” in a genuine way touched my heart and gave me hope.
This book was a delicious read. Lo and Toni deserve some happiness because they went through it. I was a lil disappointed because in book 3 it was about his mental health but this book didn’t address it at all. Kelli was a bad boy Lo called and he came and showed out. Abeni came through like I knew she would. I can’t wait to see how her story plays out. Renza is quiet and dangerous he showed up for Lo too. Now Sha’Nelle has been around for a minute the guest that never left, but her and Renza. I thought the ladies were a lil hard on Reni. Look like Reni had a reason to be a lil concerned about one of the ladies.
This journey with Kaylo and Toni was realistic and long but sooo worth it 🥹🥰😭 …real relationships and marriages take work and take two people willing to put in the work to fight for it in order for it to succeed. When one is down the other picks up the slack and vice versa and they were a prime example of that especially in this book. Kelli and Renza were so clutch and essential this book they really the brothers Kaylo needed so he could just focus on staying free and being a family man with his hands clean. Happy Toni finally got out of her own way and did what she needed to do to support Lo. Love this ending ❤️
The last book pack in so much, but it was so good, you really didn't miss a thing, Sha Jones, you did your thing with this one, as always. You really have to read all 4 books to be able to get it, but when you do, yes, this is the series to read. Everything from crime, to family, to love, I loved everything about it. Oh yeah and very steamy. I would definitely recommend this book to others, can't wait for my boyfriend Renza to come through, keep them coming girl I loved it.
Sha’s pen game is nothing to under estimate! She writes for the girls who say fuck him and I need him in the same breath. The head strong women with a soft life who stand on business behind their man, yea, she writes for us.
Lo had Toni fucked up and I ain’t like that but Toni being the woman she is, knew exactly what to do! I enjoyed seeing them submit to each other. Their story is beautiful and relatable on so many levels!
Great finish to the series! I'm so happy that Kay'Lo and Toni were able to get it together! They definitely had some storms schools to climb and they did it in the truest form, great job Sha Jones showing each of their emotions during time of trouble! The Mensah family stood 10 toes down and I love how Kelli was brought into the fold! Renza is next and I can't wait, because Renni don't fit in at all! Looking forward to seeing Renza & Sha'Nelle!
I loved how our little love story ended ! And I love how sha still throw in a little p&p even though we’re diving deep into lo and Toni! I enjoyed this book out of all of them because despite the issues they faced everyone has learned each other enough to give the space and circle back to fix it! Our mensah men’s growed up! I look forward to renzas story because I need to know ! I just knew shanelle was gonna try that white chocolate but nooo that would’ve been too much like right !
This was my favorite book in the Toni/Kaylo series. I liked the way the story wrapped up. I do have to skip the extended sex scenes that go a little too long but still a good read.
Looking forwaed to the next series with Renza. Without telling anything.... I really want Kelli to be with Sha'Nelle. I hope she doesn't end up with Renza!!!! She is nobody's sloppy second choice!! Renza doesn't deserve her.
Boom they kicked it off heavy on the sex and Ateam style Lo and Toni straight fell in love with baby girl ,Renza and Kelli went detective mode and set it to were no one got away ,brought down Lennox and took out the other two crooked oops i enjoyed the book overall
When I say this was worth the wait I meant it, every part was good down to the very end!! The roller coaster ride that Kaylo and Toni had us on but how it turned out was beautiful. We got to see a marriage go through its ups and downs and make it through stronger in the end! Now ready for Renza's story!!! Sha you did that!!!!
SHA JONES!!! 🗣️she never disappoints me with each book.
Kay’lo and Toni finally got their freedom, and I loved seeing everything come to light.
Renza… yeah, I saw that Sha’Nelle situation coming. And Reni’s jealousy? A whole disaster waiting to happen. Leave Pluto alone because she got Pressure.
That’s it. I’m counting down to Certified to Handle You 👀📚🔥

Wow! I so love this series when it started off with Pressure! Now that Kaylo's story has been told, which was a lot and so glad him and Toni had a happy ending! Now we get to the funny man Renza! Seems his girlfriend is a bit of an handful being she seems to have a bit of dislike for Pluto! Let's see how Renza navigates thru his life! From the cliffhanger its gonna be very interesting!!!
Sha,you did it again my girl!!! This book was the perfect culmination of Kay’Lo and Toni. Love is messy, it’s unforgiving, but forgiveness, beauty and all the things the old people told us.
Kaylo and Toni have took me thru it!! It was all worth it to get to this conclusion right here!! I loved the introduction of Kelli and cant wait to whats next to come thru Trill-land!
I loved this whole series. I love how Toni and Kay’lo came full circle. How they realized and understood..loving and caring for each other was key and they locked in. So good! Excited about Renza’s story!

Kay’Lo beat that trial and fell in love with Toni all over again. They fought, hurt, loved and remembered who they were throughout this book and made you happy they finally learned it was them always them.
