I started writing my first stories when I was a teen…on a freaking typewriter. I still have these, and they’re adorably romantic. And bad, haha. Fear of failing kept me from following my dream to become a romance author, so you can imagine how proud and ecstatic I am that I finally overcame my fears and self doubt and did it. I adore my genre because I love writing and reading about flawed, strong men who are just a tad broken..but find their happy ever after anyway.
My favorite books to read are pretty much all MM/gay romances as long as it has a happy end. Kink is a plus… Aside from that, I also read a lot of nonfiction and not just books on writing. Popular psychology is a favorite topic of mine and so are self help and sociology.
Hobbies? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Just kidding. I love traveling, spending time near the ocean, and hiking. But I love books more.

‼️SPOILERS‼️
I just knew this one was going to be a good time and man, Nora definitely did not disappoint.
If you have not read this series or the one before this one, read it. This is not a standalone in my opinion as you will meet so many characters. If you have not read any of her books, these books are perfect for you to start. If you don’t know when it comes to Nora, you will get all the feels.
Fergal and Gregor were perfect from the moment we meet them to the end.
There is definitely hurt/comfort with these guys and some other characters.
One of my favorite parts was when Sando came in with the results about Harley and their siblings. I love the whole acceptance of whether they are male, female or whatever they choose to be.
When Gregor finds out that Fergal and him are mates, that’s when he realizes that he has been an idiot this whole time, especially their last words to one another before Fergal got kidnapped.
And I was so happy that we got the chapter that we so needed with Erwan, his father and his uncle. When he said “they’re mine”, I was so grateful for what he was about to do. I have never disliked characters like I do with those two.
And the spice in this book was so steamy. I was here for every moment with these two. Also, the banter with these two had me giggling because it was so sarcastic and you couldn’t just not laugh!
Also, the way that Gregor will do anything to protect him and you find that o it when he tells Fergal his secret. If that’s not love, then I don’t know what is.
And that scene with Finlay and Erwan had me in my feels so hard. When he said “two is a gift “… that moment did me in.
Ugh, this book was seriously worth the wait with all the ekotions I went through.
I cannot wait for the last and final book of this series because what’s going to happen now?! And when this audiobook releases, I just know it’s going to be so good!

I loved it. The timeline starts far behind from the current moment, and i have to admit the time jump confused me a bit when it happened, but I really liked the book overall. I'm excited we still have one more book in the series

Dragon’s Reveal is the eighth and penultimate book in the Irresistible Dragons series, and the books must be read in order for the story to make sense. The through plots here are twisted and windy, and the only way for you to understand everything that’s going on is to have read all the books, though Phoenix does give a handy summary at the beginning of this book to remind readers where we are. It’s also not necessary to have read the Irresistible Omegas series before this, but it’s helpful to have that background.
This book ends in a good place for so many characters, but there’s one more book to go, which is expected out in October. This is a series that is densely packed with not only characters, but lore and mystery. If you haven’t started, now’s the time. But if you have, you’re going to want to pick this one up.

I’m just gonna go ahead and say it: THIS IS THE BEST IN THIS SERIES!
WOW, this book was just perfect. There was so much going on yet the story flowed so smoothly. I really loved all the different POVs from past and present characters and how it all just felt like one big story coming to a perfect close.
I can’t be the only one who got super excited about some particular cameos 😁
This story was definitely different from the previous ones and I loved that Nora did that. We got so much information that we missed in the previous books and a better understanding of what happened before and after the Dragon Council. Especially about Duff Bás, the last dragon hunter.
I loved Fergal and Gregor. I loved the age gap between them. Loved how protective Gregor was of him and how much he was willing to do to keep him safe. His love for Fergal went beyond the responsibilities of being his tutor. He loved him for the brilliant man he grew up to be.
Gregor’s internal struggle to be honest with Fergal but fearing what would happen if the truth came out was really painful. He knew what he did was wrong but necessary and if he had to do it again, he wouldn’t hesitate. But that secret was eating him alive and he just couldn’t in good conscience pursue something with Fergal without revealing his secret.
Fergal had been in love with Gregor for years but Gregor never crossed that line. Fergal knew there were things Gregor wasn’t telling, but he was willing to wait him out.
I loved how determined and patient Fergal was with Gregor. He understood Gregor had things he had to deal with on his own and even though he really wanted to know what they were, he respected his boundaries. After invading his privacy that first time, he promised himself he would wait until Gregor was ready.
Gregor loved Fergal more than he knew it was possible. From the moment Fergal was born, he made it his mission to look after him no matter what that entailed. Losing him was never an option even if they couldn’t be together since a relationship between alphas wasn’t allowed. Plus, there was the fact that he was the crown prince and later the king.
But when Fergal and Gregor find themselves at the Hightower ranch and they can see how different things are there, they dare to hope things between them can change. At the ranch, there’s no restriction to whom you can love, everyone is treated with equal respect and most of all, they’re one big family who’s there for each other.
Fergal never felt so free and happy before stepping into the ranch. He can feel the shift in his relationship with Gregor and how it might not be as impossible as they think. The possibility of loving Gregor in the open is the best feeling in the world for him.
But of course, there are those who are set in destroying the Fitzgerald clan and dragging others in the process. The Murphy clan in alliance with the old Doyle clan have devised the most devious plan to destroy them all, and those plans included the last dragon hunter.
Knowing that Gregor was Fergal’s weakness, Murphy and Doyle clans threaten him and Fergal does what any man in love would do, he tries to stop it. Fergal would rather die than to lose Gregor. There was never a doubt that he would put his life on the line if it meant keeping him safe.
It took Fergal being taken for Gregor to realize they were mates. It all made sense now why the closeness and love they had for each other ran deeper than either of them imagined. The ache of not having Fergal next to him was the catalyst for him to stop denying how much he loved him.

Gregor couldn’t be more perfect for Fergal. His love for him was so fierce and true. He was such a green flag alpha. His baby boy was everything to him and I couldn’t love him more.
I hope we get Duff’s story next. We got a better look at him but we need more. There’s so much that was left unsaid about him in this book and we’re curious 🤣 Awesome book!

A man who was tortured by his guilt 😢, chained by his past ⛓️, my heart felt for him 💔, it was both heartbreaking and heartwarming to see him when he was in his weakest, vulnerable moment and the joy and freedom he achieved when his wall build fortress 🧱 came down to uncover the man , the human who was locked 🔒 behind it ❤️.
He was the warrior, the protector and the man who wouldn't let anyone hurt those he loved 😍 , and oh , how he loved Fergal was breathtaking 🥰, the sacrifice, the love was everything ❤️.

That was what Gregor for Fergal and more ❤️.
That how I saw the relationship between Gregor and Fergal , Gregor was the mentor , the warrior and Fergal knight ❤️, he cared for him , he protected him , loved him and stood in Fergal way if he found him hurting himself 💓, he understood Fergal , he gave him what he needed when he needed it 💓, and that proved ho deeply Gregor loves Fergal 🫂.

The man who knew justice ⚖️, who fought for truth and right ❤️.
I loved the patience in Fergal character ❤️, it spoke of the good nature of the man 💘, how he stayed patient and never give up on Gregor ❤️🔥, No, he was stubborn, determine to break ⛓️💥 Gregor walls 🧱, to free the man from the jail he locked himself in it ❤️.
It was beautiful how he understood Gregor ❤️🔥, how he knew every little change in his body language 🥰, it proved how he loved Gregor and how the two of them was like two pieces of puzzle 🧩 meant to complete each other ❤️🔥.
He fought and he won ❤️🔥.
He was a boy who was at one moment found himself carrying the heavy burden of a clan that was on the verge of collapse, a conspiracy that went back decades, lies , betrayal, it were things meant to break the toughest men , but he didn't give up , he found his footing and Gregor was by his side guiding him , tending him and loving him❤️.
Fergal love for Gregor I can't find the words to describe it 😶, it was beautiful, exhausting, energetic and a lot more ❤️.

It was flawless ❤️, the political factor, the human factor ,the dragon factor 🐉,it was beautifully written ❤️.
The betrayal was very surprising 🙀, but justified ⚖️, betrayal for protecting and saving someone important ❤️.
This book answerd lots of questions that has risen during the series and also created new questions to be answered in the future ❤️, the mystery of duff , Healy's future , I'm both excited and afraid, excited that I get to wait to know more about these things and get answers and afraid that it's going to end 🥲, I don't want to say goodbye 😭😭😭.

It was beautiful how he understood Gregor ❤️🔥, how he knew every little change in his body language 🥰, it proved how he loved Gregor and how the two of them was like two pieces of puzzle 🧩 meant to complete each other ❤️🔥.
He fought and he won ❤️🔥.
He was a boy who was at one moment found himself carrying the heavy burden of a clan that was on the verge of collapse, a conspiracy that went back decades, lies , betrayal, it were things meant to break the toughest men , but he didn't give up , he found his footing and Gregor was by his side guiding him , tending him and loving him❤️.
Fergal love for Gregor I can't find the words to describe it 😶, it was beautiful, exhausting, energetic and a lot more ❤️.

As much as I enjoy the Doyle clan, it was fascinating to learn about what life as a Fitzgerald was like through Fergal and Gregor's story. Their love spanned decades, a fiercely loyal, quiet presence that hummed in the background of every tutoring session. The beginning of their book was set back in time from the rest of the series, and I especially enjoyed the way those earlier years helped establish the events from present day later in the book. As crown prince, Fergal had spent years preparing for the day he'd eventually take over for his father, and yet the circumstances that led to his crowning were unimaginable. It was thrilling to watch Fergal and Gregor navigate the tricky politics that came with the throne, working behind the scenes to uncover the workings of traitors in their midst. Duff's storyline was interwoven with theirs, showing a similar pattern of insidious doings that shrank the dragon slayer network until it was a shell of itself. By the time Gregor and Fergal linked up with the Doyles at the Dragon Council, I was fully invested in not only the political intrigue but the deep love that had grown between the two of them.
I found it exciting, terrifying, and exhilarating to watch the events of the second half of the story play out, and the action-heavy moments were balanced nicely by quieter times of introspection and bonding. Fergal and Gregor consistently made choices that showcased their honor, even when it would have been easier to turn a blind eye to what was going on. That strength of character made it easy for me to root for them alongside the Doyles, to get invested in their partnership and the peace it unlocked inside them. It was wonderful to see the two of them open up their hearts to each other, and when Gregor finally released the burden of his final secret I wanted to cheer. I'll admit that I felt a little perplexed by some elements of Duff's journey. At one point I thought Nora was laying the groundwork for an MMM relationship, but that's not at all the direction the characters went. I still enjoyed the chapters from his perspective and believe he bought into the cause by the end of the book, but I'm hoping for more in the finale that explains the mysterious fire that keeps him going. In terms of the overall Doyle storyline, this book delivered a satisfying resolution to several open conflicts that have been building all series, including a final confrontation with Cladhaire. I'm not ashamed to admit that I got emotional seeing Lidon and Erwan team up and fulfill the prophecy, and seeing everyone continue to choose the high road over getting revenge was incredible. Everything has left off so happily that I can't even imagine what Nora has in store with the last book in the series, but I'm eager to get my hands on it anyway!

This eighth book of the series is Fergal and Gregor’s story, and Phoenix takes us back in time to the start of their relationship, giving us their backstories. Gregor, Fergal’s tutor and guardian, formed a strong connection with him, yet always upheld professional boundaries. The chemistry between them continued to deepen, but with reason, Gregor held back. Despite being born a spare prince, Fergal ascended to the throne following treachery and then assassinations. Which leads us to the dragon’s council, and things fall into place for Fergal and Gregor, and the future of his reign. He is in good with the Hightower pack and the Doyle clan, and everything is looking up for Fergal, just before it all hits the fan again. This masterfully crafted, multi-layered story is mesmerizing and impossible to put down. There is never a dull moment, and the story has the perfect balance of drama, angst, mystery, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartwarming moments, profound emotions, and a slow-burn, but so worth the wait romance. As always, the writing, plot, and world-building are incredible, as are the character growth and development. It was great seeing the characters from the earlier books, including the Irresistible Omegas who came to help, and the dragon slayer, Duff, who has piqued my curiosity. John Solo is an entertaining storyteller, and his captivating performance not only keeps you glued to the story, but he takes the already amazing story to another level.

This review is for the audio version which John Solo knocked out of the ballpark in his usual outstanding way. Nora Phoenix has made all the characters in this and the Irresistible Wolves series worm their way into my heart. I will be on withdrawal now until the next book comes out.
This book heavily features King Fergal of the Fitzgerald clan and Gregor, his tutor, bodyguard, and finally lover. There are so many subplots in this story that reads will have had to read either the whole series or at least the last few books. Bas, the bounty hunter is also heavily featured and I have a feeling we will see him again in the future, hopefully with his own mate. The author left plenty of bread crumbs about his uniqueness.
There's definitely some dark magic and dark references of abuse and kidnapping of omega dragons, Erwine's devious and dastardly father and uncle, and the Murphy clan's involvement in all of it. But there are bright family moments as the baby dragons back at the homestead are shown off to readers. Erwine's son, Jermond's family of four hatchlings, and a surprise announcement of twins coming in the future.
We get to visit with the Hightower pack and finally see the White Dragon and One True Alpha unite to bring down the vast criminal network.
And finally, after all the turmoil, we see Gregor brought to his knees as he gives up his secrets and he and Fergal get their HEA. I don't consider this a spoiler as it's been discussed and bandied about since we learned the book was coming out and anyone who didn't realize the scene would come near the end hasn't been reading the whole series. Nora Phoenix loves to tease us.
Definitely, obviously, recommend this series but by all means, read the wolves first. Or better yet, grab the audio versions so hours of listening pleasure.

When the dragon slayer Duff Bàss goes dissapears into thin air hell breaks lose when the Furgal a crown prince of the Fitzgerald clan in waiting is trying to uncover a code break that many of the Dragon clans have done as the treatment of specially the omegas is bad even in his own clan. With his butler, teacher, bodyguard Gregor by his side they team up to uncover the truth but with his feelings and decades long attraction to Gregor becomes too hard to carry for him he have to make a choice specially when one day his Father and Uncle gets killed while outside for a fly and becomes targets of the Dragon slayer. With the Artic dragon conference in sweeten is on the doorsteps Furgal have to plan what he want to do now that he is forced to become king after his dad's sudden passing.

This is book 8 in the Irresistible Dragons series which is a spinoff of my all time favorite series Irresistible omegas. I adore this world with all my heart, the characters feel like real people, with both flaws and strengths. I just love how they keep learning and becoming better people with each book.

In this book we follow Fergal, a young alpha dragon who unexpectedly becomes the king of his clan and Gregor, an older alpha dragon, and Fergal's bodyguard and tutor.
The dynamic between them was chef's kiss. I really really enjoyed their chemistry, the tension between them was delicious. Gregor was so protective and Fergal was so smart and strong. I was rooting for them from the beginning.
I absolutely devoured this book. I started reading and I just couldn't stop. I read for hours with no breaks and when I finished I started crying because I loved it so much and I didn't want it to end. Also, there was a scene with Riordan that hit me really hard because I'm going through something similar and I just felt him.
I've said it before but I'll say it again. These books bring me so much joy and comfort. They are amazing I highly recommend them and book 8 was all I was hoping for and then more. I can't wait for the audiobook to reread it! And of course after the ending I can't wait to find out what will happen next.

I have no idea how to write the review for this book. This entire series has been amazing. The main storyline that is intertwined with each individual mate story is so creative and so inspiring and world building, I am just an awe of how this author manages to keep it all together. As the storyline expands and new characters show up and we become invested in them and they become intertwined with the characters from the very first series, it blows my mind. This story mainly focuses on Fergal and Gregor and how they struggle with developing a relationship outside of King versus tutor/guard. But it also focuses on the events that happened right after the Dragon Council from the last book. As the dragons and the wolves come together to bring down the conspirators, the action is intense, the drama is impactful, and the end of the book felt very satisfying. I am nervous for the series to end, but I cannot wait to see how it is all wrapped up and hopefully we get to revisit all of the friends and family that we have come to know throughout both Irresistible series.

There's lots of secrets, some repressed guilt which isn't remotely justified, a lot of bad guys pulling strings behind the scenes, a lot of home truths and unexpected revelations, plus there's also a brilliant full scale rescue and takedown operation which sees a lot of the villains of this series finally meet some justice.
In between all that, is the really lovely romance between Fergal and his much older councillor and military strategist Gregor.
There's hurt/comfort, there's support, there's smoking hot sex, this is a Nora book after all, and there's SO MUCH EMOTIONS! Which is always a winner for me.
I cannot wait now for the final book which will conclude this excellent series and finally reveal all the secrets that have been going on in the Dragon's world.

I think this may be one of my favourites in the series. It's not a stand-alone book, you need to read 1-7 to understand the story even when Nora kindly wrote a summary of events at the beginning of the book.
We go back in time and get some more in-depth information about the Fitzgerald clan and the Dragon Slayers. We also see Fergal's attraction to Gregor and how Gregor is keeping secrets.
The book reads like an epic drama with the clans setting up for the final battle. There is betrayal, battle and plenty of secrets and lies to be discovered.
But there is also the soft things to read about, the hatchling Harley's "diagnosis" which is utterly sweet and the ending where Erwan and Finlay are sharing news. Acceptance and love is what makes this series amazing outside the brilliant world building.
One more book to come and I already know I will be sad to accept that it will be finished then.
We go back in time and get some more in-depth information about the Fitzgerald clan and the Dragon Slayers. We also see Fergal's attraction to Gregor and how Gregor is keeping secrets.
The book reads like an epic drama with the clans setting up for the final battle. There is betrayal, battle and plenty of secrets and lies to be discovered.
But there is also the soft things to read about, the hatchling Harley's "diagnosis" which is utterly sweet and the ending where Erwan and Finlay are sharing news. Acceptance and love is what makes this series amazing outside the brilliant world building.
One more book to come and I already know I will be sad to accept that it will be finished then.

Once again, Ms Nora has done it again, I was in shambles from the plot twist it left from the last book, and now I am so happy and not ready for my dragon clan , and wolf pack family to come to an end. Anything I say will give it away, but will we see what will come of Harley, will we see what comes of the last dragon slayer, will the Fitzgerald clan stay in Canada, I mean ugh 😩 I want answers too…but we have to wait til October and I’ll be waiting.
I love how she plot every situation, Omegas being taking seriously 😐, Alphas not only the main characters in a story and definitely not the only fighters among each other, it shows how to rely on each other and not by classes, we can learn a lot from a fictional story, that for sure.

Loved it
Absolutely loved this. I've been reading the saga for years now and this one was up there with my favourites.
The prince and his tutor. Another dragon clan coming into the fold of the packs. The angst and action that this series is known for. A love thought to be taboo, brought into the light.
And the True Alpha and White Dragon, side by side.

I agree that this is the best yet in the series. I love Fergal and Gregor and I knew what Gregor's secret was and worried what Fergal would do and was amazed and thrilled how he did react. Duf was such an intriguing man and I saddened by the truth about the dragon slayers and seeing how the conspiracy with the Murphys had been going on for years and Duf's friend Maeve became a victim too but her wise words helped Duf realize that he had been misled for so many years.
The two missions to end the tyranny and rescue Fergal were so exciting and I liked how the horrible villains were handled. I loved how Hartley, the sweet and solemn blue hatchling, was revealed to be intersex, and how his parents loved them and you knew that they would be protected and treasured.

The next book will be the finale & after that I'm gonna binge this series 😍 sometime. Fated mates really work on their own schedule as these 2 were it & didn't know for years 😭.
Next is gonna be a MMM & it's curious that they're gonna have it easy, seeing how they're the only MMM to have 1 book only. Lucky them lol.

Great Book
My heart just yawned. So much fear... So much fury... So much love... And I lost count of how many tears... This entry in this wonderfully heartful story is just what I love to read. I love giving my heart a workout with a story that brings the angst, the laughs, the "awwww"s, and the heat. It's going to hurt to open the book in October, knowing it'll be the last in a series that I have loved so much.

Doors are opened
I can’t believe that this is nearly the end of these series’. So much has gone on from the Irresistible Omegas beginning to this next to last book of the Irresistible Dragons. With a focus on Fergal and Gregor, but of course tons of story lines about what is going on in the world of dragons and wolf shifters. These two series combine to form one of my favorite series of tales ever.

What a fantastic way to get back into this series! I was as always in awe of how we flowed seamlessly again into this world where every character and detail is remembered and incorporated. Fergal and Gregor just really are meant to be, but the seriousness of their position's matters. Makes it challenging but they will persevere! Battles to be had and everyone is strong and brave.

Honestly, you could totally jump straight in here and follow the story pretty well. You may not have as emotional a payoff, but this book follows the POV of new-ish characters who were introduced in the previous book, so you get the newbies' POV, which is pretty refreshing.
I also like the small bits of politicking within the Fitzgerald Clan.

Exciting and great!
Nora Phoenix has done it again. She has brought the Dragon world back in an amazing story with every possible horrendous happening and the best things possible all in one story! So much love and the Clans coming together. Gregor and Fergal are the main characters here and watching them come together and overcoming so many obstacles makes a great story.

So, so good! My heart is feeling so full right now with how this book ended. I can't beleive after 1 more, it will be over. I can see that this series and of course Irresistible Omegas are going to be ones that I love to do a full re-read of. Even if that means 19 books each time haha

This was so freaking good. Fergal and Gregor together, chef’s kiss. I loved their dynamic. Fergal is so smart and sassy. I loved getting to see the Hightower pack again. I enjoyed this so much.

I'm so relieved that we finally got another Irresistible Dragons story! The emotions were running high in this one and I loved the slow, intense development between Fergal and Gregor!
There were some time jumps initially to give a bit of background on Fergal and Gregor, showing the increasing tension between them, the pining and yearning from Fergal, and just how far Gregor would go to protect him. Their chemistry and dynamic was fantastic, and it was fun seeing Fergal trying to get a reaction from Gregor, who was a master at hiding his expressions and feelings.
I loved how things slowly built between them, Gregor was very protective of Fergal and his feelings went far beyond what was normal for a mentor / commander. He was also keeping some secrets from Fergal and dealing with the guilt of it, keeping some walls up between them. He could be so soft when it came to Fergal though, and I adored seeing them together. Staying with the Hightower pack was great for them, and offered some perspective on what they could have together.
There was a lot going on in this one, and the suspense kept building throughout the story. It was so easy to get drawn into this world again and I couldn't put my Kindle down while reading. There were a lot of emotions and I was crying through the last chapters. The action got intense at times, and the betrayal and corruption ran deep in the clans. It was great to see how some of the questions from earlier books were wrapped up in this one, and I can’t wait to see where the last book will take us!
Dragon's Reveal was a fantastic addition to the Irresistible Dragons series, and if you're a fan of omegaverse with shifters, found family and suspense I highly recommend this series!

John Solo's narration was amazing as always. Overall this book was a 5 star listen, though I do wish that Fergal and Gregor had not left their kingdom so long to stay with the Hightower Pack.
