I had already read Chocolate wishes and this was the only way I could get the second book. Liked it as much as the first! Great characters, good plot, really ugly step-sisters and wonderful village.

Purchased this for Chocolate Shoes and Wedding Blues which does not seem to be available as a stand-alone e-book, unfortunately. (I already have Chocolate Wishes as a stand-alone e-book.)

Re-read Nov. 2025. I find Trisha Ashley's books to be very cozy and fun comfort re-reads, particularly around the holidays (or just when I need something comforting).

This was the first two books in the series. I thought the first book started out a tad slow but it held my interest as it went on. The second book in my opinion was better than the first. It revealed a family secret long hidden and showed that you can love again after being hurt.
